Bus now departing for bouncy babies due to be born in April 2010... may we all enjoy BFP this month!!

Hi everyone,been on the march bus and am now jumping on april bus if thats ok?
I'm on cd 34 and still no sign,have done a few tests but all negative,getting my head round the idea that its because my body has'nt got back to normal after coming off the pill,anyone had the same problem?

It took my body a little while to come off the contraceptive patch. Think it was about 6 months for body to figure it out, but my cycles were always messed up before the patch. Even though it is ages ok, I still wonder if it will affect TTC. Fingers crossed for you.

Bettymum I was getting confused too! Not often you meet 2 Lou's followed with similar numbers.

Looby sorry things don't look like they're going to go your way, I think you're amazing for the way you're handling it. I know there's nothing I can say to make it better except that we're all here for you (hug)

I had exactly the same thing last month tobago, finally got AF on day 35... am doing OPKs this month so that I will know what's going on hopefully. Although, and Looby can vouch for this, I have a total phobia of POAS so we'll have to see how it goes!

Our discussion about what to eat when trying to conceive didn't really go anywhere yesterday but mentioned it to DP last night and he said men should eat lettuce as it increases sperm production, apparently porn actors use it to make sure they have an abundance of the required fluids for certain 'shots' Could be an urban myth...if not i'm not sure I want to know how DP knows this

tobago I came off the pill at the beginning of January, and things aren't entirely back to normal yet. There's no medical evidence that the pill does anything to you once you stop taking it, but I was having an informal chat with a doctor, and people have TONS of anecdotal evidence of their hormones being all over the place for some time after coming off the pill. I currently have worse spots than I ever did as a teenager...!

Fingers crossed with the morning test! AF always arrives at the most inconvinient time! Have fun though at the party, dont let the test take away from the fun

Aw LoobyLou, I'm sorry to hear your news hope your feeling ok, although I know that's a bit of a stupid thing to say!

Well AF started yesterday, my first in 18 months, & though I was at first I'm relieved that I don't have to choose between breastfeeding and TTC anymore.

Like you idealcamel I could still have an April baby if a) I conceive on next cycle and b) cycle length is what it used to be (not to mention c) if I can be bothered to BD enough!), so I'll stay on this bus too and now with some stats at last!

porcupine - it's a good thing AF coming back, you move up the list and aren't stuck at the bottom and you can keep BFing too

CD20 here nothing to report trying not to think about it really have MIL's funeral tomorrow I am going to try my hardest and not test until next Saturday when AF will be late but i have HPTs in the house, might ask DH to hide them and only allow me £3 in my purse so I cannot buy any HPTs

Not sure if I am too late to join as af came today. Only on second cycle. So should have some more baby making fun this month followed by total obsession with symptom spotting.

If af came properly today but had bit of blood on Thursday when is day 1. Think its today but not sure.

I'm getting closer to OV day & so should start up the BD, but I've been wiped out by a virus/asthma this week and had to go back on prednisolone and my reliever inhaler. Not sure if I should sit this month out....

Well saw GP today who says I have to stop feeding as in my particular case it's a very reliable method of contraception. Not sure what DD will make of it tonight but hey ho, time is not on my side. She's 26 mths so i'm sure she'll survive,

Plus he thinks my endemetriosis might be coming back so have to have scan and laparoscopy, thinks appt could take up to 6 wks. maybe i'll be preggers before then, [desperate emoticon]. At least it explains why things haven't happened quickly for us this time.

Good luck to all testing soon, congrats to any more graduates. Am gonna stay on this bus, stranger things have happened but guess i'm just along for the ride this month.

Hi everyone, just saying hello!

Waiting to OV here - usually have no problem spotting when as I get a massive pain in my side and feel sick for a day. Usually really annoying but I guess quite useful for ttc.

LoobyLou, so sorry for you. It is such an emotional rollercoster, ttc and pregnancy too.
