How is everyone? Iv got my scan on Friday and 1 minute im really impatient for it to come and the next i dont want to go because then i will no the truth and at the moment i can pretend that everything is ok. Im so worried they are going to say its bad news i just dont no what i would do, Its bad enough that we have to suffer so long to fall pregnant but to then have the possibility that its not going to work is horrible, It is all i can think about and its driving me mad. I cant stand the thought of having to go back on clomid and having the dissapointmnent every month again.

Sorry to come on here and moan but i thought you would be the best people to talk to. XXX

How are you all. Ive stayed away from mn mostly because im in a horrific mood all the time.

I wanted to ask you when it was normal to ov after taking clomid. i took it (50mg first cycle) days 2-6 and am on day 13 today. no sign of a + opk or any ewcm. just didnt know what to expect.

I always ovulated on day 17 and i took a mixture of 150mg and 200 mg days 2 till 7

How long have you been on clomid?

Hey bubble you can ov later with clomid hun, but start bding from day 14, heres hoping for some good news from you xxx

claire how have you been feeling anyway? any symptoms? What times your scan?

Are you being monitored whilst on Clomid? E.g. Day 21 bloods, etc. That would be, by far, the best way to know what is happening.

Do you ovulate without the aid of Clomid?

Clomid (and PCOS) can cause OPKs to give false readings and it can also dry up CM. To combat the drying up, many women drink grapefruit juice and/or take robitussin (sp?)

I don't think anyone can say for sure which day you should ovulate. Perhaps you could use other methods to check, like the position of your cervix, or the changes in your BBT (basal body temperature).

Don't worry about your bad moods when posting. We all get those, Clomid or not!

claire, this is my first go on clomid. so havent got a clue what to expect. while i was taking the tabs i felt fine but since ive stopped taking them ive been the wife/mum from hell.

clwc unfortunatly i dont ovulate regularly without clomid. (think ive ovd twice in 8 months)I havnt been offered a scan but the dr has said to have a day 21 test. (thats a week tomorrow). I am suffering with the lack of cm and BDing is uncomfortable now.
I ususally temp but DS2 is waking alot during the night and im worried that it will interfer with the chart. i will check my cervix tho and contine with the opks.

Have any of you used preseed?

Iv been feeling ok generally, Very Very tired tho and my boobs have balloned and are very saw. My Stomach has kind of popped out a bit aswell which is weird coz im so early it might just be because i have got a very petite frame.

i have been asked to do a day 21 test to see if the 50mg clomid worked this cycle. Do i go on day 21 or 7 days after the positive opk??

Go as close to day 21 as you can, and voice your concerns about the +ve OPK while you are with the doctor.

Just got back from the scan and they are 95% sure that it is a missed miscarrage. The sac had doubled in size but just nothing in it, They said i should be about 7 half weeks. Iv got to go back next friday so they can do another scan then book me in for a d and c

OMG, Claire That's terrible news! I hope so, so, so much that they're wrong. There's still that 5%. Dear Lord. How unfair You poor thing. Is someone with you to make you lots of cuppas and take care of you? Go and have a relax in the bath, and we'll understand completely if you don't want to come back on here for a while. Iv woken up this morning with quite a saw stomach so wondering if i am going to miscarry soon, I hope so then i can start again (that sounds a bit sick i think but i no the pregnancy isnt going to work out) As soon as everything is done and i have my d and c we can get trying again. XX

They just said that the sac had more than doubled in size and you should definetly be able to see the fetus and a heartbeat but the sac was empty, The woman that done the scan said that it is most probably a missed miscarrage coz everytime she has done a scan like this it never turns out right. The worse thing is having to carry on for another week with a small dump abd my body still thinking its pregnant. I would just love to go in for the d and c on monday and get it all out of the way so i can try and forget about it. xx

I think they are waiting just in case but i dont no why coz they were so certain, What cycle are you on at the moment? X

I am on day 45 I think, no more clomid for me as its not working, have to go for an echovist scan but its not till 6th august so just going to keep bding and hope for the best. I didnt ovulate again this month so the consultant decided that I needed some more tests to see if there are any blockages in my tubes, if so it would be straight to ivf so hoping alls ok. Have you had it done? xxx

I had a thing called a HCG done and that was where they flooded my tubes with dye so they could see if there were any blockages, That sounds like the same sort of thing.

How do you feel about coming off clomid? XX
