Hi everyone. I am starting up a new thread since our old one was reaching the 1000 post limit.

Here is a link to the old thread.

Hi Ladies,

In answer to your question, they wont do anything else (NHS) as I have already had children which is fair enough. I'm more annoyed at the lack of testing and have had no monitoring on the clomid at all. No bloods scans or anything. The consultant explained to me about IUI but managed to get it completely wrong, the fool. It's something we have spoken about and maybe if we can we will save some money to have a couple of goes, but I'm not holding my breath.

Thanks for your words though Ladies.

Clure · 17/07/2009 22:56

Alfie am in similar boat to you. Have had crap service - NO monitoring either x

stac14 · 20/07/2009 19:03

Hi Ladies
How are you all? Any news? All quiet my end just missing our chat xxx

Clure · 20/07/2009 22:35

hi all
3 days to go at school. Am waiting a couple more days then going to test. Very apprehensive, can't let myself think too much about it. Scare if I am even more scared if I'm not.
hi Stac how are you?

millymolly83 · 20/07/2009 23:58

hi all how are u. am due a period next week so start clomid again then. how are u stac. and how are u clure

islegrin · 21/07/2009 00:19

clure I'm going to test the end of this week - not scared about that, but definitely scared about getting my hopes up! Round 5 of IUI and the light at the end of the tunnel is getting dim. You have great will power to wait this long! I have learned it's better to break the bad news to be early, in stages. That way I don't wait until Day 30 and build up irrational hope, but that's just me.

Stac I guess quiet can be good. Sounds like you are just making time with DH, then! Best of luck.

Hi to millymolly, bubblebell and paddington!

Hoping for implantation any moment now...

millymolly83 · 21/07/2009 02:09

hi islegrin how are u am starting bak on clomid next week hopefully if my periods come on time

stac14 · 21/07/2009 18:05

Hi islegrin I had no choice but to take a break in ttc due to waiting for a scan to check my tubes but think it has been good for us as its been so draining. Hope so much you get the implant, whats the iui like? do you get any side effects? I dont really know much about it thats why I ask

Hey Clure not long till you stop for the hols then, we are on the forth week here so not long till they are back (well mid august). You have loads of will power hun I would probably be dying to test already lol Did you manage to get your bloods done?

Hi millymolly I'm sure you will be fine on the clomd hun, have they decided what monitoring you will be getting?

Hope everyone else is well xx

paddington21 · 21/07/2009 19:45

KiwiKat · 21/07/2009 21:21

Hello everyone, I'm back from holidays. Haven't yet read through your posts to get up to date with all the news - hope there's some happy news to read!

Clure · 21/07/2009 22:06

hi
stac it must be a bit of a relief to have a rest from ttc, have you got a date for your scan? I haven't had bloods done been so manic end of term haven't had chance to get up to the hospital (they only do bloods in GP surgery for half hour slot on certain days - not always convenient!) I'm now going to wait to see what happens in the next few days.
paddington hope it all goes ok for you on friday, you poor thing, you sound quite frantic. Its hard isn't it? big hug to you
millymolly thanks I'm ok, what dose clomid are you going to take?
islegrin IUI sounds like one tough ride. What CD day will you be when you test?
welcome back kiwikat
I'm also going to test end of this week. Baby dust to you all xx

millymolly83 · 21/07/2009 23:05

stac14 · 22/07/2009 10:17

Hi paddington summer hols havent been to bad probably as the weather has been quite good thank goodness lol. I'm sure you will be fine on Friday, let me know what its like. I think what I am getting is slightly different as mines is a scan but who knows lol

clure My scan is booked for 6th August, so only another 2 weeks tomorrow, hoping its not bad news. Trying not to get too worked up. Is it primary or high school you teach? Bet your looking forward to the hols starting. It has been nice not thinking about ttc too much think that helped me have af on my own

millymolly I got bloods done on cd 21, 28 and 35 (only on cd 35 if af didnt show) Whens af due?

Welcome back kiwikat hows things with you?

xxxx

Clure · 23/07/2009 09:45

hi,
Well its a BFN for me
CD 34. Advice from those of you ladies who take provera, how long would you wait till taking provera? Not sure whether to give it a few more days to see if af arrives naturally or just take provera to avoid wasting more time. thanks x
Am gutted.

clairebear88 · 23/07/2009 10:50

Hi all

Clure - sorry about your bfn its so frustrating big hugs ((()))

alfie - sorry to hear your predicament its a shame you get penalised for having a dc already.

isle - good luck for testing at end of the week

paddington - sorry you are stressed but im sure all will be fine. When I had mine done they didnt find and blockages but in a way I wish they had as now mine is just unexplained infertility. If there is a blockage they can sort it out and hopefully a bfp will follow. Good luck but please dont worry

well i have been off work all week as have been well poorly, they think its glandular fever. I have had to force myself to ttc after having the hcg shot on fri but its hard when your feeling rough.
I will be very surprised if I get bfp this month.
Does anyone know if it causes a problem with ttc when taking antibiotics??

stac14 · 23/07/2009 17:38

Hi clure Sorry its bfn hun, regarding provera I used to start it on CD35 as thats when last bloods were taken, even if your pregnant the provera wont effect anything.

Hi clairebear sorry your feeling rotten, how does the shot affect you? is there many side effects?

paddington thinking of you for tomorrow, how are you feeling?

Hi to everyone else xx

Clure · 23/07/2009 19:53

thanks girls, did a run and am now indulging in a little glass of something nice, and also done an internet shop on a few nice things to wear for DD and myself (makes me feel just a little bit better!!)

stac thanks, think I'll give it a couple of days in that case then do provera. hope you ok

clairbear glandular fever, poor you, though don't think antibiotics should interfere with anything. Really feel for you ttc when poorly- what a struggle. HUGS and hope you feel better soon

good luck tomorrow paddington and big hug

hi to everyone else, hoping you all well and throwing lots of babydust to us all this evening xxxx

fruitbowl · 23/07/2009 23:03

Hi ladies. Have't seen you all for a bit (waves).

Clure - sorry bout the BFN - I so empathise, it's crushing isn't it? Glad a bit of retail therapy cheering you!

Paddington - good luck for tomorrow or hopefully, it may be all over by the time you read this?

I'm on 5th packet of my 6 months clomid and frankly feeling like it aint gonna happen for me this way. Dunno bout you gals but I think it dries up any CM and also my period is so, so light, that I think it must be stopping a really good lining from developing which really is quite rubbish seeing as these two things are vital for TTC. Humpf (crosses arms and sulks). I have been an absolute witch to my lovely DD today as well. I'll be glad to finish the drugs.

(Thanks for bearing with my little letting of of steam.)

Hope you all feeling more positive! x

millymolly83 · 23/07/2009 23:41

hi stac my af starts on 27th of this month if they come on time

Clure · 24/07/2009 10:12

hi fruitbowl know what you mean. I don't really know where I am in terms of whats happening with my cycle. For the past week I'm having lots of CM but today I'm on CD35?? Think thats why I got my hopes up, thinking lots of CM meant positive result. I also waiting for af now so can begin round 3. You let off steam, thats what we here for x

stac going to go for my bloods done today (Now I have my bfn) hoping you well?

It's second day of school hols and sun just coming out, DD filling up her watering can in garden and plodding around in her wellies!
Can't believe she'll be starting school in September, took her to buy her uniform yesterday but she had her stubborn moo head on and wouldn't try anything on. Had to take a chance on sizes!
Oh no, she's just shouting up that she's got wet jeans, must go
have a good weekend

wishinanhopin · 24/07/2009 11:14

Hi Girls.
So I'm looking to pick your brains. I'm on clomid. Took 5 pills starting July 14th. Was told to start TTC July 21st. So hubby and I had intercourse Tuesday and Wednesday, and tonight(Thursday). But after intercourse tonight I had some pinkish (assuming blood) discharge. It's way too early for my period, but is it too hopeful to think it may be implantation bleeding from just 2 days ago??
Probably wishful thinking, but I just thought I'd ask if any of you ladies had experienced it?
Thanks

paddington21 · 24/07/2009 19:14

hi all. well had the xray scan thingy hsg done and it was actually more painful that i would of liked but the good news in no blockages woop de woop! am quite relieved. not sure where that leaves us now but am pleased.
cant stay long as dp needs the laptop but hope all are ok and thank you so much for all your kind words.

x

fruitbowl · 24/07/2009 23:48

Glad it went well Paddington! It's not nice is it? But some say it's not painful so you never know til you get there! Well done on getting the all clear!

Wishin & Hopin - I always understood implant bleeding happens (if at all) around the time your period is due so methinks 2 days later a tad optimistic! But ya never know, you've done the Bding so anything's possible eh? Fingers crossed.

x

fruitbowl · 24/07/2009 23:51

Oh wishin - forgot to say that I sometimes experience a little pinkish CM after BDing. I've always thought it was due to being a bit erm... enthusiastic!

wishinanhopin · 25/07/2009 03:33

LOL thanks fruitbowl
I thought so myself. Its the first time thats ever happened to me so it kinda caught me off guard.
Babydust to all
