Hey shreksmisses I felt like that on clomid it felt like it was getting better the longer I was on it but it was also the reason why I didnt take it last cycle. Hopefully you wont have to take it again hun

Hi clure how are you? have you took the provera yet?

paddington fab news about the scan (rotten that it was sore were you advised to take painkillers before?) Whats the next move for you?

Hey to everyone else, how are you all? I'm good just counting down the days till the scan and my 30th is the following week so a lot on in August for me aarrgghh lol please tell me 30 isnt that bad xxx

Paddington - glad your tubes are ok at least its one problem crossed off.

stac - the hcg shot was ok and I didnt have any side effects, but I did get ill that night but dont think it had any link. I think im just run down and picked it up.

shrek - Its such a weird tablet as you cant control your emotions and they hit you in the strangest of places. I agree the side effects have eased the longer im on them too so hopefully will be the same for you.

well I managed to fit in 3 days of bding last week whilst trying not to breathe on DH and pass on the germs. I really didnt feel up to it but ill be damned if I was gonna miss the "good days". Still feeling rough 9 days on and getting fed up now. me and DH are off this week so gonna try and get better and be positive.

Hey shreksmisses Glad your feeling a bit better. I always took mine at night so I could sleep through the side effects didnt stop them completely but think it was better than having to pu up with them all day.
I'm sure being 30 will be fine my DP sailed through it.

Hi Girls
I need advice. So I started clomid July 14th. I didn't wait for my period to start because I never get my periods. They are very random, and my Dr told me not to wait, just to start.
So I took the 5 pills 50mg. DH and I went to work for a week straight, and today July 28th AF arrived. Last night when DH and I were bding it was a bit painful, and now today here is AF in all her fury.
I can't get into my gyno until August 17th and really don't want to waste a month if I don't have to. So I'm wondering what you ladies would do if you were me......should I begin a second dose of clomid for the next 5 days. And if so what days of your period do you start taking it. (having never started the first round on my cycle I don't know what days to take it)Sorry for the novel, but I know you ladies have been through it ALL, and may be able to offer me some advice

I was told to start on day 2, but I don't know if that's the same for everyone.

kiwikat I came on early with clomid too and waited till cd 4 to start it but it didnt work the next month so take the clomid as soon as you can, hope it works again for you hun xxx

everything I see online, just on general info about clomid it says CD5........which seems late to me, but I'll give it a go LOL.
Also, any ladies have experience with OPK's on clomid?? I've heard mixed things about it, like the results are inaccurate on clomid???

hi stac and clure how are u. am still waiting for my periods they late so can.t start takeing clomid till i get them. wish they would hurry up first time they been late in ages and they are not even late for a good reason

hi wishinanhopin i have to take clomid on day 2 as well. this time and the last time i fell preg with twins the last time they are 2 now. and am away to start again and its day 2 again

wishinanhopin I also take clomid day 2-6. I know some ladies on here have taken it starting on day 5. I don't use OPK's as my hormone level (the one that is measured in the OPK) are high most of the time so I get false readings. I know that a lot of advice is to not rely on OPK on clomid as the clomid can interfere with hormone levels and give false readings.
millymolly I too am waiting for af, have now got my prescription for provera and so may have to take this as I don't think af gonna show naturally!
stac how are you? Finally got my bloods done!

hey shreksmisses do you take it in the morning or evening? I used to take mine before bed so that I skipped most of the side effects only things I couldnt get rid of was the mood swings and hot flushes lol xc

hi shrekmissus Like stac, I also take clomid before bed and haven't had any side effects

stac not sure when results in but have consultant appointment in sept, this was originally moved from next week which i was cross about.

just got back from meeting my new nephew - totally in love!!

aww Clure love babies bet you went all gooey lol. Thats rotten about app, mine is next week but technically I should have af on 4th but cos of the pcos I doubt it will come but I have pmt which I get even if af doesnt come lol xx

hi all, sorry its take me so long to write properly dp and i are rushed off our feet at the moment and i have come down with a bit of a cold- feel a bit of a fraud though dont feel ill, ill just bit head coldy.
hope everyone is ok not really sure what my next step is just hoping to fall pg soon. got another 12 days max of waiting to test but am not hopeful this month what with being so stressed out with this scan business but nevermind. ive heard that sometimes people fall pg in a few months after the hsg is done... anyone else heard this?
