dh and I are having a last push at ttc. we are giving it either a year or another mc before we give up (haven't told gp ) so i have decided to reopen the anti-testing thread!

hiya everyone, i have resisted temptation and not tested again, going to wait now until at least saturday! Still driving myself insane with the symptom spotting, cramping was worse last night, although the bloating has gone (had a massive curry last night LOL) but now my bbs feel sore, still have lots of CM which is unusual, just dreading af arriving, have worked out previous cycles and could be any time from tomorrow.

Morning (no its not but written it now) ladies, I am close to 2ww very close indeed, yesterday was going to go bonking mad again, but DD ended up in bed with me cos she is teething and wouldn't let me leave her If I do it twice tonight will that help .

Feeling better today - had scan on Tues to rule at ectopic and it was ruled out but got conception cyst????
Still not sure it's all real - nothing on scan yet so got to go back! [bsad}

Anyway here's to the 2ww and lots of December babies!!

Joycey whats been happening with you? What on earth is a conception cyst have you been bleeding??

I'm having a confused couple of days and when i was PG i didnt really have sore boobs just occasional burny sensations. Last couple days boobs seem bigger and fuller and quite sore, DH assumed it was hormones from the MC but seems most people stop symptoms all together immediately!? but i've stopped bleeding? Posted on MC thread and been advised to test again. I know in my heart im not PG so dont see the point in testing again iyswim.

Just did my last test i had in the bathroom for peace of mind and it came up BFP 2-3 it was a digital test??

Now even more confused than before!!

Morning Shirley, Wow!

I think the digi ones tell you the weeks since conception, whereas the docs work it out from your last period. I think you should ask your doc for a blood test to confirm.

Im thinkin surely if it was a miscarriage that bleeding then the hcp levels should be back down by now, esp as the digi one said not pregnant last time??? I am soo confused! DH and i were both sure we had conceived on Friday 13th seeing as its the same date we got married, well friday 13th that is! I'm shaking as just when i thought it was all over and accepted miscarriage i get this!

I wonder whether it was just one of those early pregnancy bleeds you hear about. Mind, I don't want to get your hopes up in case that's not the case, but from everything I've read, you go back to normal very quickly after early miscarriages. Have you had any negative tests since the positive ones? Maybe one of the other ladies can help more? I'm a novice I'm afraid, but hope that helps.

PS I also heard that the results on the digi ones disappear after 24 hours so you might want to take a photo of it!

nope no negatives just this one positive and im reasoning it must be right as the last digi one i did said not pregnant around the same time i did the others which said pregnant?

Tried taking photos but its not very clear DH will take one when he gets home on his good camera. Just spoke to my mum we figure after this week ill be 6 weeks so should be able to have a scan by then see whats happenning!

Hows symptom spotting your end?? thanks for being here for me! xx

Hi All

that does sound promising - the scan will just show if there is a sac at 6 weeks - I had a scan last year at that time after some bleeding. Heartbeat doesn't show till week 7/8 usually.

I'm on Day 16 now but no EWCM and DH is feeling pressurized at the moment - we had an arguement about that the other day apparently I'm putting too much pressure on him.

im planning on seeing my gp this coming week to have it confirmed. DH is happy but we're both feeling cautious about it all.

Im sorry your DH is feeling pressured, i can imagine its not easy on either of you! I dont know what to suggest as i've not been in your position. sorry

Hope it goes really well at the GP's for you I found the early pregnancy unit at local hospital very helpful as well. I'd be cautious as well - if I ever get pregnant again I know I will be.

I keep looking at the cheap test on ebay and wondering how easy they are to use as well - get a stock in - which does go against the theme of this thread

Joycey a conception cyst is normal nothing to worry about, mine was 8cms so a little larger than normal usually 2-5cms (I think), mine was just monitored before and after, looks like it burst during labour which is a good, don't worry.

Thats far too long a name too much scope for mistake I shall have to call you easter shirley, sounds promising, I am no expert but my sister had an early heavish bleed and clots with her 3rd pregnancy, it turned out she had lost one but had been carrying twins, the other one is now 11, it is worth getting it checked out though, so they can check if you are and that everything is progressing ok. Good luck.

Can't help with the ebay test thing Liskey, do seem to be rated quite highly on here though.

Hey Shirley, I had a bleed with dd and a few traumatic weeks of scanning before it was ok so understand your feelings.
Nunnie - good luck with thrice! I know the cyst thing is not a problem but it does hurt at the moemnt which is one more thing to bring me down at moment.

How is everyone else doing? The 2ww is looming and I am sending sticky thoughts out

Morning everyone hope your all ok.

Did an ovulation test yesterday evening which was positive and my temperature's gone up this morning so figured I'm now ovulating.

Even better after a disagreement last night with DH about him going out during the week and getting a "little bit merry" which meant he wasn't in the mood for a few days - due to knackeredness - we made up this morning

Lemon - I've taken a photo finally using DH cameraphone this morning and texted it to myself, so once it disappears from the screen i'll still have it!

Overall though im feeling very good, its hard not to get excited right now but to be honest I am!

Pleased things sound so good for you. Hopefully you'll get an early appointment at the GP's and they take blood tests to check your hormone levels.
