dh and I are having a last push at ttc. we are giving it either a year or another mc before we give up (haven't told gp ) so i have decided to reopen the anti-testing thread!

your all gonna have to stop me testing again ladies! 3 tests in the bathroom left and its exactly a week today since i stopped bleeding. Would you test again for peace of mind or wait?

in your circs i would probably test again, just to make sure. are they the fancy CBD ones?

Yeah, I'd probably test too. Although it will get very expensive if you do it every day! Maybe wait till the weekend if you can?

hmm ladies oh well at least i know now!

Tested and line is very faint so maybe it was just the hormone leaving my body its not as dark as the test i did monday well im at ovulation time i think so best get back onto it tonight!

I will test again in a few days then hopefully it will be no line at all and i'll be certain then.

I would probably test again today and depending on result, would test again on Monday. CBD clear blue digital I think.

blood tests that a laugh they wouldn't do it, finally when GP said she would do it, the surgery couldn't fit me in!

If i did CBD that would be more reliable would it not? as in say if i was either not pregnant or a higher number than 2-3 if i was? If the hormones going down it would surely?

i would wait a week tbh before buyinbg a CBD. retest on mon and if still bfp test on weds.

I don't know about the clearblue digital sorry can't help but I would think the same as you.

I would ring your GP and tell them you keep getting positive results and you would like the blood test to confirm it one way or another. If no success ring EPU and tell them and see what they suggest.

nunnie EPU wont do it unless its suspected ectopic.
Gp would do it but due to bank holiday they couldnt fit me in prob wont get me in till end of next week

How long does it take for a +ve result to change if it was a mc? Maybe the EPU or GP could tell you that at least. The you can test around then. I am sorry I can only imagine how you are feeling

yes i saw them Tuesday and had the scan done. They said wait a week, if im still positive Tuesday then go back and have another scan or wait 2 weeks if i can!
Ive googled the test being lighter and general concencus is a line in a line, no matter how light or dark it is. It is a big fat pink line and only slightly lighter than the last test... So im keeping fingers crossed and going to try to remain positive!

wish they could tell me that, those small clots i had passed i passed on 28th which is now 11 days ago.
Dawn from the other thread said she tested 5 days after stopping bleeding and had BFN when she miscarried. So i am holding some hope, in fact a few woman said on here i'd be testing negative if i wasn't pregnant, i just dont know.

Glad to see you are keeping positive I will keep everything (well almost everything) crossed for you.

Is there any AFs/BFPs due soon? I have over a week left I am trying with all my might not to symptom spot and I am managing OK but it is still early days.

ooh a weeks not a long tine nunnie, we met exactly a month ago now then! i think you were symptom spotting when i joined!

Gotta stay positive its all i can do, on verge of tears alot but its just the stress of it all.

Sorry iate - not been ignoring you - had to step away from the computer. I have to say, it's disgusting the way your GP and the EPU are treating you, so frustrating and not helpful at all.

Anyhow, rant over, I think I would go with the line's a line theory, especially as the tests do all differ and you could analyse forever and a day over whether one is a different sort of line than another. I guess what I'm trying to say (very clumsily) is that you should take comfort in the fact that you still have a line, and test again in a few days or on Tuesday if you can wait that long.

It must be so horrible for you not to know for certain either way, and I really hope you get a definitive answer soon. [hugs]
