MrsDis I recognise him but can't for the life of me think of his name.

Someone spill!

Thanks guys, you have made me feel so much better, still spotting, not 100% sure it's OV bleed but at least I have hope I guess.

Still am v peed off with DH so no BD tonight... he was meant to come to DDs dancing show/party tonight and he didn't get back from work in time... I told him about it weeks ago and he still can't get in the house by 6pm?? It's hardly unreasonable!

Anyway My Mum came and also my brother and SIL but they all ahd to leave early (they took the other kids home for me too) so I was stuck at the party on my own (with DD) while everyone else had their friends and family with them. I had loads of friends there as us dancing mums are a pretty close group but thats not the point.

What with this bleeding as well I felt so bloody miserable... might as well be bloomin single...

Grrrrrr sorry rant over....

ready4anotherminiegg · 31/03/2009 23:31

aw kat, poor you. I know that 'I might as well be single' feeling...

during the week dh is gone by 6.30, not hime until 7.30, during the weekend he just wants to lurk-in-the-garden-with-a-beer rest, so I get little respite from the dcs. I must be mad! On the plus side dd2 did 3 steps today!!!

How was the dancing show?

Katnkittens · 31/03/2009 23:41

Ready.. thats exactly like me... he's out by 7am not usually home before 8pm... weekends are spent on the computer or on his laptop working... he does cook on a weekend though and he's good when he's here but it's hard especially as I have my uni work to do.

Dancing show was fab, the school has just been given a grant from a local radio station and we have a major festival to go to on friday so it was a celebration of all that. They had a professional photographer there so we'll be getting some lovely pics of them all glammed up.

Awwww how old is your dd2? I remember it well, it doesnt matter how many you have, when they do new things it still amazes me!

ready4anotherminiegg · 31/03/2009 23:57

Fantastic!

DD2 is just 13mths. All 3 are fantastic , we've just got a big tp climbing frame, and they love it. Ds is always outside now, either working on his biulding site [patch of mud by patio] or climbing.

Do you find it's hard for your dh to fit in with you all at weekends? or that he struggles to handle the dcs? dh can cope with one but struggles with 2 or 3, or if any of them are being high maintance.

Katnkittens · 01/04/2009 00:14

A bit but mine are older, DS is coming up 13 and DD1 is almost 11 so they are pretty easy to cope with. DD2 is 5 and she is hard work, I find I have got used to him not being here and I plan my life assuming he wont be around. On weekends he manages the kids fine but sometimes he will do things that mess up our routine and it pees me off, he's also stricter than me and I find myself resenting it when he says they cant do something that I would let them do... but I don't feel its right to go over his head so I bite my tongue or tell him later.

I know he's working for us but it's still hard

ready4anotherminiegg · 01/04/2009 10:46

Any ideas where i put that dratted mooncup? I know I put it in a safe place...

ScorpiowithabigS · 01/04/2009 12:21

same place my hand cream is - God only knows!

Katnkittens · 01/04/2009 14:26

and I lost my cigarette... my tampon is here though.....

Katnkittens · 01/04/2009 14:28

On a serious note... am now having to use the above so guess I'm having another AF 2 weeks in from the last one!!

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Diege · 02/04/2009 09:38

Hello! Me again! Sorry about popping in and then not posting since . First part of week is mad for me, with 5.30am starts and getting home 7pm-ish, but work from home Thurs/Fri so can slow down a bit and get on MN!
Will be off/wfh for next forthnight though, so promise to try and catch up and post more regularly!

babyblue3 · 02/04/2009 12:40

Kat - Poor You. Guess your body is still trying to readjust. Hopefully that means its making itself strong and healthy in anticipation of another pregnancy.

I have been plugging away... this week has been going so slowly. My head hurts... my back hurts and I feel like a cow! LOL.. sorry for the griping.. Have been trying to get my spring cleaning done, but DH is at the hospital visiting his dad all the time, so I have had to hold the fort at home. You ladies who are used to this can laugh at me all you like, but for one who is spoiled like me, I am so not used to be alone all the time! The older two have been bickering with each other all week (something they do, but not as much as lately), and the baby has been quite clingy too. She is going to be a handful when DS2 is born. She gets soooo jealous when DH or the kids rub and talk to my belly. She comes in and pushes them away and starts crying!! LOL... sigh...

Sorry... me post!

Diege · 02/04/2009 16:18

Sounds tough BABYBLUE!! Think my dd3 will have the same 'issues' as yours re: jealousy: I out baby doll in new pram last weeks and she threw it out in a rage...may have to keep an eye on her...
KAT, sympathies on af front - sounds rough, though as BB says may well be your body sorting itself out xx

ready4anotherminiegg · 02/04/2009 16:55

aw Kat, sympathy.

Babyblue, just make the most of the babymoon where they sleep most of the time How old is your littlest again?

Never needed the mooncup, what I thought was the beginning of af was just a spot. sigh.

ds and dd1 are so tired, only oe more day of term to suffer. They are already sat down to supper, I think I'll have them in bed by 6pm Tell me it gets better....

rainbowdays · 02/04/2009 20:17

Today it is my baby's 1st birthday, we had a lovely time and he loved his chocolate birthday cake!

ScorpiowithabigS · 02/04/2009 20:17

Happy Birthday Jak!

ready4anotherminiegg · 02/04/2009 20:28

Happy birthday!

babyblue3 · 03/04/2009 20:44

Ready - youngest is 17 months... she will be 21 months when baby is born. I really think I am gonna be in trouble with her! Last night, DS was touching my tummy trying to feel his little brother kick. All the while, DD2 was trying to push him away, taking his hands of the tummy, and crying like mad! sigh...

How is everyone doing?? Raining here today, so the perfect time to do some chores. Yesterday was 17 degrees, so I spent the afternoon at the park with the older ones. Was so nice! Crocus are coming out... grass is getting green... allergies are starting up! LOL

rainbowdays · 03/04/2009 20:55

We are all going down with bugs here, ds1 had croup a couple of nights back, now dh, dd and ds2 all have temperatures and feel ill too. Dh will be the toughest baby to deal with I think !

Babyblue - a few months will make all the difference in your dd2 attitude. It could be that you get all the jealousy now and that once the baby arrives that she will be ready to be the proud BIG sister! I hope so for you.

Kat - how are you now?

Diege · 04/04/2009 13:27

Oh no RAINBOW - are you poorly too? Agree, dh will be toughest challenge, goes without saying
BABYBLUE,as Rainbow says, hopefully out los will resolve their 'issues' by the time the no.4s are born.. Lol at allergies spirnging - agree, now is the time for the sneezing to commence! How many weeks are you btw? Have lost track of where we're all up to!

babyblue3 · 05/04/2009 15:24

Diege - am 24 weeks today. Big milestone, considering our docs see it as the threshold of viability. You are about a month ahead of me right? That would be lovely if DD2 can work out her issues now. I never had jealousy issues with DD1 when Ds1 was born... not even a little.

Rainbow - so sorry that all of you are feeling poorly at once! Then you have the added pressure of a sick DH! Thats equivalent to 3 sick DCs in my book! Hopefully its a quick bug. We are finally all healthy here after many months of runny noses.

How is everyone else?? Spent some time at hospital with FIL yesterday. He takes two steps forward, one step back. He looks better than last time I saw him though. He is no longer hooked up to respirator, only oxygen. Hopefully things continue to go well, as DH is still very stressed by all this.

Diege · 05/04/2009 16:03

That's sad about FIL BABYBLUE . Sounds like you are doing all you can do though, and I'm sure dh appreciates it.
Yes, about a month ahead of you I think (29 weeks today). Have got my first stretch marks ever today after getting away with it with dds. Shouldn't complain really but I am so vain .
Hope everyone is having a good weekend - any plans for easter hols?

Ready4anotherMiniEgg · 05/04/2009 18:23

will catch up later properly, just wanted to share the exciting discovery of EWCM!!!

gonna get them to bed in a super efficiant style, and pounce on dh

mrsdisorganised · 05/04/2009 21:05

Hello all!

Haven't been on much, dc's all on holiday so during the day is out and I'm too knackered in the evening! Love having them all at home though, lots of walks and games, also get 'my dc's' back instead of them trying to copy their school friends....

Will try to catch up a bit!

The house is a bombsite atm, building etc and the constant trail of sandy mud through the house is beginning to drive me nuts! Also need to seriously de-clutter the house, useless at it especially now with constant nausea (sis was right should have done it before). Anyway will get there!!

Good luck on the pouncing Ready!!

babyblue3 · 07/04/2009 15:47

How is everyone doing today? We have been getting SNOW for the past 2 days, and I am sick to death of it! Sunday I was out admiring the crocuses and walking with no jacket... and today, I have to wear a parka and make sure I don't slip on the ice! Sigh... darn Canadian weather!

Well... FIL took a turn for the worse on Sunday night, so we were up half the night waiting for news. Its never nice to hear the phone ring in the middle of the night. I was sooo tired at work the next day, my boss actually sent me home to get some sleep 'for the baby'.

Diege · 08/04/2009 09:01

Hi BABYBLUE! Wow that weather sounds crazy! When does it settle down into 'proper spring?' Actaully, sounds quite British . Sorry that your FIL is still so poorly ; does sound like you have a sympathetic boss there though which must help a little bit
DIS, glad that you're enjoying the hols. I go from tearing my hair out with frustration at the bickering etc, to genuinely enjoying my time with them. Know what you mean about decluttering - I promised to get to the bottom of the laundry basket before the sickness hit, and never did, and am now at the stage where I feel like dumping the lot in a charity bag Having said that, I would still have to wash it!
READY, presume things went to plan re: EWM?? . How many days to wait now for testing?
Hope everyone else is OK!
