Guys we need a new group! Wouldn't let me post in old one.

MrsDis I recognise him but can't for the life of me think of his name.

Someone spill!

OP posts:
babyblue3 · 26/03/2009 12:29

MrsD - How many DCs in your playgroup?? Wow.. not sure I would have the patience to do that! LOL.. my DCs run the patience thin as it is!! LOL

As for the nausea... I have tried almost everything I could find (seeing as mine lasted about 5 months with last 2 pregnancies!!). I found sour candies worked well. You can find them on the internet especially for morning sickness... Preggie Pops (although I find them a little costly), but I used to go to my local bulk food store and pick up sour gummies. Lemon in hot or cold water worked well too, provided I could actually keep the water down! Those are my best suggestions that don't involve packing on a stone per week stuffing our faces!!

ScorpiowithabigS · 26/03/2009 13:10

its quiet here cos all you gits are pg

Katnkittens · 26/03/2009 17:28

Hi guys, I'm about but nothing exciting to add.... I'm on CD 8 so about to get the BD in full flow

Dissertation is moving verryyy slowly. Really need to get my arse in gear (as usual).

Have to run and drive madam to dancing as usual.

Catch up later ]x

Ready4anothercoffee · 26/03/2009 17:34

Hello all, no other ideas for nausea either, reckon you'll just have to keep stuffing your face

just think, you too could have an arse as big as mine

So far I'v now had 3 nights where dd2 has only been bf at 1am and 6am, so tonight I'm going to ry going the whole way

Diege · 26/03/2009 17:45

Hello! I have been such a rubbish poster recently, and promise to try and keep up more - will try and read back and find out what's been happening!
All good here - 28 weeks on Sunday and feeling very big and tired - work a struggle but just till end of April to go before maternity leave

rainbowdays · 28/03/2009 08:24

Deige - hey you come back to us and we all go quiet, that is not fair. Good to have you back, and 28weeks, wow time goes fast. We must all do a list again soon with everyones due dates.

Well it is saturday morning and I need to go get organised, will try to come back later if I have a chance.

Katnkittens · 28/03/2009 14:28

Wow Diege, 28 weeks Thats fab can't believe how quick its gone!

I'm on CD11 today so gonna jump DH tonight . SOOOO weird but I was talking to my SIL (DH's brothers wife), she has 2 DCs and I havent chatted to her for ages, anyway I mentioned that we were trying but not telling anyone and it turns out they're doing the same! It would be amazing if we were pg together although my MIL has kind of said to both of us that we have enough children LOL.

Good news also is that my MIL got the all clear yesterday . She's been having chemo for breast cancer (3rd time she's had it) and while it's always going to be in her bones, it's gone from everywhere else and they can keep it under control. So we're all on a high, she's only 60, very fit and otherwise healthy and totally lovely

Another dancing comp tomorrow... sigh... no rest for the wicked!

xxxx

ScorpiowithabigS · 29/03/2009 10:18

Kat - that is weird but so nice that the 2 of you may be pg at same time and MIL can have more people to blame

We have decided to carry on having unprotected sex, for the next few months anyway. We are both scared, and have agreed if i have another mc then we wont try anymore. I'm out this month anyway (well today is cd14 but i dont ov till around 18/19 so think im out this month)so i probably wont actually give birth for another year......Mimi will be 2! And i started trying when she was 5 months but i guess if i hadnt of mc then i wold be 13 weeks now and well on my way

DH has gone to Thailand today, he isnt back until the 15th April.

babyblue3 · 29/03/2009 14:45

I honestly don't know how you ladies manage so well with you DHs away! I guess I am a suck! He has only been gone for a few hours and I miss him like crazy!

This morning we got a call saying FIL was in the hospital with possible heart attack. My DH was very upset and rushed over to be with him. They are transferring him to a better hospital, and are unsure what happened. He was having a hard time breathing so my SIL took him to emergency. They found fluid in his lungs so they put him in a medically induced coma and put him on a ventilator. They cant find anything wrong with his heart, but one nurse said he had an irregular pattern at one point. No one knows right now. My poor DH is stressed and really upset seeing his dad hooked up to all those tubes. He has never really lost anyone before, so this really scares him. Sigh... its hard for me, since I am home with the kids and can't be there for him.

mrsdisorganised · 29/03/2009 20:27

Feeling very upset atm....just found out a close friend has had her first scan and found no heartbeat, I feel so bad for her and really want to be here to support her but obviously that might be difficult as i am now pg...although she knows, it must make it harder for her, any advice would be good Also feel worried for when I eventually have my first scan for this lo......

Babyblue I feel for you, it's hard being away from him but your dc's need you too.... my dh's father was the same ended up having a quadruple heart bypass and a year on is fitter than before, so fingers crossed your fil will be fine.x

Scorpio....my dh is away too, it's hard work I fully sympathise! He left last monday, was in a crash, (fine apart from lots of glass in his hands!) came home then left again on tues don't actually know when he'll be home

Hello to everyone else. x

ScorpiowithabigS · 30/03/2009 12:58

mrs - oh your poor friend nature is so bloody cruel. I would offer help, cook, other childcare if applicable, and dont mention your baby to her for a bit, but do let her know your scan goes ok when its time, she will be pleased that its ok.

DH will be in bangkok 1140am tomorrow. think we caught ov though not sure.

babyblue3 · 30/03/2009 13:44

Scorpio - keeping fingers crossed for you

MrsD - I agree... offer some support without mentioning your LO just now. She may feel envious later on, but deep down you know she is still happy for you.

Well... My FIL seems to be holding his own. Considering he is 82 years old, the doctors are impressed with how well he is reacting to treatment. He is still on a ventilator to assist his breathing, but he is very lucid and knows what is going on around him. When DH got home last night, he was a mess. My hormones are all over the place, so I cried for him the entire drive to work this morning! I am no help at all!! LOL. We will be taking the DCs to the hospital to see their grandfather later today.

babyblue3 · 30/03/2009 17:14

Diege - glad everything going well with you. Sooo that you only have a month til mat leave. I will be working til a week before my due date (if all goes well), so I still have 4 months to go. The fact that my job is really boring at the moment isnt making the time go by any quicker either! Have you and DH settled on a name for your DS yet??

rainbowdays · 30/03/2009 22:13

MrsD- sorry to hear about your friend, it is so hard when something like that happens. It will be difficult to know how to help, as everyone reacts differently, Scorpio suggested some practical things, but also she might just need space away from anyone pregnant for a while, I am sure you will be able to know instictively if this is the case. When is your scan?

BabyBl - good to hear that your FIL is doing so well, how did your dc's cope with seeing him today?

Scorpio - so you managed to catch ov,,,, that means that we could still have a hat-trick of christmas babies here then? I am trying to be extra hopeful!

Katnkittens · 31/03/2009 01:22

MrsD hope your friend is coping ok mc's are always so sad..

BBB Your FIL sounds like a fighter! We've all ahd to cope with MIL's breast cancer recently, dd2 took it hard as she didnt really understand and she is very close to her nana. She found the hair loss rather funny though and kept asking her to take off her wig so she could giggle LOL!
When Jade Goody kept being pictured in the papers she was saying 'look that lady has to have special medicine like nana'. She also started to question death and what happens when we die etc... we had never said anything but she must have picked up on the seriousness of it all.

Anyway, CD13 today, have BD CD9 and 12 and going for it tomorrow and Thursday so hopefully in with a good chance this month. I'm surprised by DH, he's well up for it, keeps saying he's got some nice swimmers waiting for me LOL sorry if TMI but not really something I can discuss in RL!

Heres hoping for that hattrick! TBH it's not conceiving I'm worried about, I seem to fall pregnant anytime I'm not careful, it's the sticking I'm scared of as a 3rd mc would mean a lot, thats when they start investigating etc and it would finalise things a bit, not sure DH would let me go through it again after another mc....

Lets not think about that though!

Busy organising for my trip away... to top the stress levels off, the boot on my hatchback has broken, the button fell off so we can't open it! I'm going to have to put the seats down in the back seat to get all the junk/cases in and out! What a carry on, I can't afford to get it fixed til I get back so have no choice really.

xxxx

ScorpiowithabigS · 31/03/2009 10:03

i think we caught ov, or at least ewcm started and i got one in on sat night & sunday morning but not too hopeful. I seem to take ages to get pg, although thats always after hormoanal contraception, after BF i got pg straight away when period returned anyway.

I dont even know what cd im on, lol

ScorpiowithabigS · 31/03/2009 10:34

it would appear im cd15

ScorpiowithabigS · 31/03/2009 11:20

I am jealous of DH - its 31c there today!

babyblue3 · 31/03/2009 12:54

Kat - awful about your car. But where you going on vacation??

Glad to hear everyone seems to be having wonderful timing with TTC. I am keeping fingers croseed for the hat trick!!

Well.. we spent the evening at the hospital with FIL. He is looking much better according to DH, but is still on the ventilator and is still hooked up to so many machines and meds. The older DCs haven't said much, but I am sure in the coming days, there will be questions. DD2 is too young to understand, so she was just content sitting on the bed with her Nonno and kissing his cheek and waving at him. He was happy to see the kids, and had been asking all day when they were coming. DH is going to work today, which worries me. He drives a city transit bus for a living, and I am hoping that he won't be too distracted to focus on what he has to do.

As for me... the last few days I have just been feeling really REALLY HUGE! My tummy has been feeling heavy, and my lower back is aching. I sit at a desk all day, and have started to feel very restless. Sigh... still soooo long to go...

How is everyone else??

Katnkittens · 31/03/2009 13:07

Grrrr had a bleed this morning on CD14 :s Never ever bled in the middle of my cycle before... very confused. It's pretty light and I think it's stopped... these mc's have totally messed up my cycles

babyblue3 · 31/03/2009 13:52

Implantation bleed???

Katnkittens · 31/03/2009 14:03

A bit early?? I'm not giving up hope, I'm a bit crampy also and the last month I fell preg I had bad cramps on CD13 so might be a good sign...

babyblue3 · 31/03/2009 14:50

Keeping EVERYTHING crossed for you (although DH isn't gonna like that )

rainbowdays · 31/03/2009 19:56

Kat - it is ov bleed probrably, some say it is a sign of a strong ovulation, so hope that you get a strong pregnancy from it!

I am really frustrated, as I managed to get dh on side with loads of bding this month, and now I ov late.... arrrgggg. how am I going to pursade him to keep going..... suduction techniques needed here. I am still waiting for a positive opk so not even a sign of ov on the horizon..... arrgggg.

ready4anothercoffee · 31/03/2009 22:58

MrsD, sorry to hear about your friend, hope everything is ok for you

Well done scorpio, you have been busy

got everything crossed for you Kat

We're on our 6th night of no bf, and my boobs are beginning to settle. No sign of either ov or af, but I'm sure my cp is higher, and a little softer sorry if TMI

I have a friend coming to lunch after pre-school on thurs, I'm out while dd1 is at pre-school, so I need to get the house tidier than it's usual lived in state [spot the slattern] as my friend is very houseproud, her house is immaculate. Guess I'll have to get busy tomorrow, I've scrubbed the hall and sitting room floors, just the dining room to do, and the assorted crap on the table to be put away

Hope everyone else is well
