If you can wait a week, then go to GP. Good luck, try not to be too negative! You never know x

rainbowdays · 16/03/2009 09:48

We are all going quiet here again!, I have a nephew here today so we have a noisy house at the moment. Will send them all outside to run around in a bit, they need to loose some energy.

rainbowdays · 16/03/2009 09:52

had to run to stop an argument there!!!! this is going to be a LONG day !!!!!

Scorpio - hope you are doing ok still, I see the no testing thread is going well!

MrsD - where are you at in your cycle? if you don't mind me asking - seems a personal question, but have lost track of where everyone is now.

OK yet another row erupting,,,, I guess my mn time today won't get to much.

babyblue3 · 16/03/2009 13:23

Good Morning Ladies
Well... DH, the kids and I are on vacation this week... thank goodness. My sister in law has the baby until Tuesday night. Its the first time she has ever been a way, and I feel soooo odd! Always waiting to hear her cries at night. Its been really nice to get some sleep tho! We are going to try and spend some time with DS1 and DD1 while she is away, since that opportunity doesnt come up often.

The weather here has been wonderful. Managed to do some outdoor chores yesterday... today... time for Spring Cleaning... Sigh. I would rather spend time off relaxing, but a woman's work is never done

Scorpio - try not to be so negative! You never know what is going on in there! But I know what you mean when someone else turns up pg. takes over whether you want it to or not. Same happened to me and I felt soo badly about it!

How is everyone else?

ScorpiowithabigS · 16/03/2009 20:41

Hello well im cd36, very high cp, almost ewcm and weird taste in mouth, but BFN (not fmu). Glad i have more breathing space from decision making!!

ScorpiowithabigS · 17/03/2009 10:02

mrsdisorganised · 17/03/2009 11:53

Pleased you're in 'working order' Scorpio!

Well....I have been a bit secretive as I got a BFP about two weeks ago and haven't told anyone (apart from DH) until today, just told my Mum, who was great then sis who wasn't quite as great but know she means well, so big apologies for not letting you all in sooner but I know sis is a MN'er.....

mrsdisorganised · 17/03/2009 11:56

Oh and please no comments on FB as i want to keep it quiet as long as possible! Thanks!

HeinzSight · 17/03/2009 12:50

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! mrsD woop woop!! Am SOOOOOOOOOOO pleased for you, how very extremely exciting!!! Of course, won't write anything on FB, don't worry. How are you feeling?

HeinzSight · 17/03/2009 16:40

Yay, so happy. You've been a great support to me and others, of course we'll give you lots of support in our little secret world here x x

rainbowdays · 17/03/2009 17:01

Mrs - huge congratulations - I had realised that you had not said you had started another cycle, but this is even better news - really pleased for you.

Scorpio - sorry but not that you are on cd1 again. at least you know where you are now. Are you giving another attempt for no#4?

Well I am due af yesterday, bfn today, with stomach cramps so the ol witch will be with me in the next 24hours. Today my dd was looking cute as a leprachaun in the st paddy's day parade, so this took my mind off things for a while.

ScorpiowithabigS · 17/03/2009 17:05

Mrs - Congrats!!!

I'm not sure hwta im going to do rainbow, DH is away over my fertile time this coming month anyway so i get another month to decide Any help here would be fab, lol

rainbowdays · 17/03/2009 17:53

scorpio - It is a difficult decision, for me I think that many factors come into play. My first two dc were close in age and I would want a small gap between Jak and potential dc4 too, but unfortunately the gap is getting larger! so at what point do I say the age gap is too large? I don't know, but for me I think less than 2 years age gap. Also I am 41, so my fertility is naturally going to start decreasing, so the likelyhood to concive soon is low already and my risk of other problems increases, so therefore I have to think about the impact that it would have on the 3dc's if potential 4th had issues. So with all this waffle I guess I am saying my time-limit for ttc#4 is not far away. But I keep putting it off.

ScorpiowithabigS · 17/03/2009 18:10

Rainbow - I don't want a big age gap either - I'm loving the way things are now, and to think if i get pg soon it may be another 2 whole years before i get to the 'easier' part again......then that feels like ages away and i don't know if i want to do it. If lost baby had been ok Mimi would have only been 17 months and that would have beenp erfect, but now i am looking at 20/21 month gap if i get pg next fertile time.

Yes i am only 24 but i got pg 1st time at 16; i dont want to be pg at 36, yknow?

Also Mimi is getting older, very nearly 1, Jamie starts school in Sept, i just feel like my family is growing up & wether i should just embrace that and love that iyswim, instead of going back by being pg/newborn etc.

But on other hand i really do want another, whats the rush with life, DH is happy to do what i decide (says he likes things how they are now and dc4 is more for me but hes happy to have one more baby). I was totally consumed with having dc4 before mc - now im almost scared, felt so relieved at period today. I'm weird

Thankyou

ScorpiowithabigS · 17/03/2009 18:12

Rainbow - ialso worry about if dc4 will have any problems and how i will cope with anythign like that with the 3 dc already. DS1 is Dyspraxic as it is; what if Mimi ir dc4 is too, how will i cope??

rainbowdays · 18/03/2009 10:02

Well I am back to CD1 as I predicted yesterday.... oh well, another month of shagging ahead

Ready4anothercoffee · 18/03/2009 17:15

lol rainbow

I understand what you all mean wrt the what ifs. Plus I too want a small gap, if dc4 were to be a boy, that would be an age gap of almost 6 yrs. I'm getting really impatient to get cracking, but dd2 is just not willing to give up, and I'm so knackered atm. At least dh finally understands why I am so keen to wean, she spends half the night chewing away.

Here's to a month of shagging anyway

babyblue3 · 18/03/2009 18:15

MrsD - CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! So happy for you! When would that put your due date at??? Am too tired atm to do the math! LOL.. DD2 kept me up all night crying and with a fever. Can barely stay awake. My mum has the others for the day, so maybe I can sneak in a nap. Anyway... hope youre well and that the morning sickness doesn't get too bad for you. I'm so pleased for you!!!

Scorpio - Glad to see you are still in working order! LOL.. I'm sure you will sort things out about #4 when the time is right.

Back to spring cleaning for me...

to everyone else!

Katnkittens · 18/03/2009 18:19

Congrats Mrs D!! Really happy for you

I must be strange but I like having a big age gap. My DS is almost 13, then DD1 came along exactly 2 years later. I had a 5 1/2 year age gap and DD2 is 5 and will be 6 if DC4 comes along.

I have to say, I found it very hard having only 2 years between DC's 1 and 2, they hardly played together (still don't) and used to fight but now they barely interact. Conversely, DD2 is close with both her brother and sister, Jessica mothers her and humours her little quirks. Cameron winds her up but she adores him and he adores her back despite the banter!

So, I'm more than happy to have a 6+ year age gap between Lily and this next child.. if it's a boy there could be almost 14 years between Ds's!!!! But, if I was a child and had much older siblings I'd have loved it, just think when the older kids can drive, the younger ones will be able to nag them for lifts etc...LOL Plus, I have inbuilt babysitting (for popping to the shops etc... not full nights or anything).

I just need to get preggers now

Ready4anothercoffee · 18/03/2009 19:04

Congrats MrsD [just caught up with thread]

rainbowdays · 18/03/2009 19:11

Kat - it is funny how our experiences differ so much!!!! I am 4 years younger than my sister and never played with her, my brother two years younger and we played together all the time. It is different as adults as I am much closer to my sister since having children. I also have two brothers that are 14 and 16 years younger than me and I really hated being expected to babysit them all the time!!!!! It is funny how our experiences influence what we want for our own families. I am pleased with how close my three are at the moment. I hope that a 4th would be just as close.

Ok time to get the 3dc's to bed now.

ScorpiowithabigS · 18/03/2009 19:13

I'm 1 of 3 girls, the eldest. We were all born within 5 years, and i practically never speak to my middle sister, but the oyungest i do nearly every day.

Ready4anothercoffee · 18/03/2009 19:57

I'm the eldest of 4. I'm 28, and my borthers are 26, 23 and 16. I used to do a lot of my littlest brothers care also, but none of us are close, although I think that is more due to our mothers mental state.

That's deffo why I want mine all close together, and really hope we can bring them up with strong bonds.

Katnkittens · 18/03/2009 22:54

Wierd, we're all the eldest! I'm the eldest of 3.. my Mum had 3 under 3 at one point . Now we are 29, 28 and 27. I see my youngest brother a lot as he lives close and we are very alike. The middle brother lives miles away and I see him once or twice a year although we chat on the phone. We have little in common.

I'm not sure if it's because there are only 13 months between us but we always seemed to be competing.. we never got on at all. I like him now but thats only because I rarely see him lol

I never wanted my kids that close together because of my experiences! I always wanted my Mum to have a baby when I was 10/11... SOOO wanted a little sister!!!

It's really interesting how we all seem to want the opposite of what we had!

Anyway main point of post is......
DUMDUMDUM.... I think AF is here on CD24!! I few days early but fine by me as it means I am officially TTC again YEY!!
