Hello everybody

I will go and look at scan pics shortly

I'm cd30 today, sore boobs but still huge PMT. Hoping period starts soon, so htings will feel more normal. Having a down few days about my lost baby. I would have been 10 weeks now

Anyway.....we are decorating here, nearly finished, glossing tonight, carpeting thursday and sofas friday, yay! May go and buy a new rug too.

ScorpiowithabigS · 10/03/2009 12:49

do you remember last month when i got BFP, and i said CP high and soft and ewcm? Well its happening again very sore breasts too. Last month it appeared i got this about 2-3 days before bfp, looking at last posts.

sweetkitty · 10/03/2009 12:52

hi ladies always lurking

Scorpio - looking good for you and on new sofa

We have decided to wait until DD1 and 2 are at school then think about ttc #4 although I would like to have another one need a break from pregnancy for a bit.

ScorpiowithabigS · 10/03/2009 13:53

When will dd's be at school, is it a long wait? You may not want to by then, lol.

sweetkitty · 10/03/2009 14:55

DD1 goes to school this August, DD2 year in August so not too long a wait really, think I need it to recover and think about being pregnant again, I wish I could cut out the 9 month incubation thing, I hate being pregnant, it's the SPD it kills me.

ScorpiowithabigS · 10/03/2009 15:12

oh my friend gets SPD, she says its horrid. I had a touch of it with Mimi and hated it. I couldn't get dressed very well or stand on one leg for putting on trousers, and couldn't walk far. I imagine if its bad then it must be so hard to live day-to-day, especially with other dc.

Very sore boobs. Fun Fun Fun

sweetkitty · 10/03/2009 15:14

I was very depressed last pregnancy and it was just horrific with a 3 and 2 yo to look after too, thats why IF I were to have another I would have to have the oldest two at school and DD3 at nursery some of the time.

Also have no room for another baby and no money for a bigger car as you are into 7 seater terriority with 4 aren't you?

gingertoo · 10/03/2009 15:22

Sorry that you are feeling sad about your lost LO, Scorpio. Fingers crossed for you this time - there is still a chance despite your symptoms Early pg symptoms can be so like pre-af symptoms that it's difficult to know what's happening isn't it?

Agree with you about the '9 month incubation thing' sweetkitty. I really do not like being pregnant (well I don't mind the first half - not usually too sick - but not keen on the big, heavy, achy bit - and hate the last 2 weeks - all mine born at 42wks - lol)

It's funny how I manage to put all of the pg symptoms to the back of my mind while I'm ttc then start moaning the minute I get a bfp! It's all worth it though....

ScorpiowithabigS · 10/03/2009 15:22

7 seater, yes, otherwise you can't all go out together! We are trading ours in during the summer this year.

Money - well BF is free, you must have some clothes from your dd's, equipment etc (freecycle, ebay)....babys can be cheap if you want them to be!

sweetkitty · 10/03/2009 15:27

It's more long term Scorpio, I agree babies are quite cheap but I am already thinking 3 sets of school uniform and shoes, I am forever buying shoes.

Also know what you mean about being so sad after the mc, after mine I was obsessed with being pregnant again was all I could think about. Sunday there was a year since my due date and it still made me a bit even though if I had had that baby I wouldn't have DD3.

ScorpiowithabigS · 10/03/2009 15:29

ahh, yes, the never ending shoe buying

I guess i will remember the baby for a long time yet, won't I? Especially before EDD (oct 8th)

babyblue3 · 10/03/2009 16:12

Scorpio - sorry to hear you are feeling down about your lost LO. Its hard. I was in a clothing store buying some baby things the other day, when I came across an outfit that said 'peanut' across the front. I almost burst into tears, because that is what I used to call my lost one. I don't think we as moms ever get over them.

Sweetkitty - I definitely know what you mean about babies costing some money. I need to trade in my car this spring for a 7 seater. My DH traded in his last year so that we could fit 5. I have a 4 seater, so I guess its my turn to trade up! LOL.. no to mention that I am just getting too old to lift babies (and myself) in and out of a low, 2 door vehicle. We also live in a 3 bedroom home, so eventually we are looking at renos. $$$$$$$$$$$$

Ready4anothercoffee · 10/03/2009 17:22

oh shoes...it's never ending. We've just entred ballet shoe buying terrority for DS and DD1

How is everyone? i've just eded a 10 day internet famine thanks to bt, it's been quite scarey not to be able to indulge my broody urges! Sadly DD2 is still determindly not letting go of the boob yet, so no af and no chance of success yet

baby blue, add me to your fb so I can ogle your bean? pretty please?

congrats on the new sofa btw

ScorpiowithabigS · 10/03/2009 18:22

thankyou all for your support I think its rearing up because im cd30 and either pg or expecting a period, if i was midway it wouldnt worry me too much i dont think

at 10 day internet famine! We changed from BT as customer service so shite. We are Sky for everything now, including line rental. No problems!

Ready how old is dd2 again? I miss BF Mimi still

sweetkitty · 10/03/2009 19:22

Chalkpink · 11/03/2009 10:06

Hi,
Can I join you?
Yesterday I had my 12 week scan and discovered the pregnancy hadn't progressed past 5 weeks. It wasn't a complete surprise I had been feeling too 'well' to be properly pregnant and actually began to spot on Tuesday night.
We have 2 beautiful dd's and a cheeky ds and have now lost two pregnancies in the last 6 months. (I now have 2 'due dates' to get through this year ). Luckily we hadn't told anyone except two closest friends and I know I'm very lucky to have my dc's but feeling rubbish today.
Hopeing to start ttc'ing asap (do you think that's wise?)
Good luck to everyone. I hope we all have some good news soon!

babyblue3 · 11/03/2009 11:36

Hello and Welcome Chalk Sorry for what you are going through at the moment. A lot of us on this thread have been through m/c so we know what its like. I fell pg a month after my early m/c in October, and am now 5 months along. I guess you have to see if you are ready right away.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you Scorpio!! Hows the redecorating coming along???

I am trying to get through this week. DD2 is either sick or going through a phase. She won't go to bed without screaming (unless of course she is in OUR bed)! And then she wakes up a few times during the night and screams. One way or the other, she ends up in our bed, and I can't sleep. Its gettin hard enough for me to sleep as it is! Sigh... I get up at 6am to go to work feeling like a zombie. Not to mention... I have the sniffles AGAIN too Oh well... next week the kids and DH and I are home for our spring break. We will be sending DD2 to daycare, so I should get some peace!

Zzzz... need to learn how to sleep at my desk with my eyes open! Now that would be a skill!!!

ScorpiowithabigS · 11/03/2009 11:59

Hello Chalk yes alot of us have had a mc of some sort on here, so we all understand We ttc staright away, im still first cycle after mc.

cd31 now no sign of period or pg. feel ok today

HeinzSight · 11/03/2009 12:38

Hi Chalk, sorry to hear about your m/c. This happened to a friend of mine a few yrs ago, horrid. Like others have said, do what you feel is right for you

babyblue, the sleepless nights are a killer aren't they, especially when you're pregnant! My DD has been waking in the night too, but we're VERY lucky that she's fairly easy to settle, poor thing is full of a cold and has a nasty cough, I can hear her coughing away right now on the baby monitor

Scorpio, keeping everything crossed for you!!

rainbowdays · 11/03/2009 13:02

scorpio - I had a dream last night that you were announcing your positive pg test here, it was one of those dreams where it was so real that I had to come here to check that is was just a dream and that it had not happened! I hope it was just a premonition and that you do get good news soon!

Chalk - hi and welcome. It is tough dealing with miscarriages, some people feel ready to ttc again straight away, other people do not, only you know what is right for you. How old are your other children?

Baby -blue - hope you get more sleep soon. my ds2 is not well at the moment and I am up tow or three times a night to him. but he is easy to settle, so I am surviving so far.

ScorpiowithabigS · 11/03/2009 13:04

oooh rainbow i love that dream!

Katnkittens · 11/03/2009 13:33

Nice dream! Feeling positive for you scorpio!

Chalk, I have had 2 mcs in 2 months so I know how you feel. The last mc was in Jan but it took around 7 weeks for my HCG to return to normal (I'm weird) so I'm waiting this cycle out, hoping for my first proper AF in the next couple of weeks

It is hard trying again, I have decided I'm only giving it one more go and if I have another m/c I'll accept that 3 is my lot.

I don't know if I've mentioned it but I suffer very badly from auto immune urticaria dand angiooedema, it's basically constant itchy hives and painful swellings (nice eh?). Apparently this will not cause a mc but I'm not convinced... I'm waiting it out on the meds I'm on now as the stronger stuff is not compatible with pregnancy but it does mean the longer it takes me to conceive the more discomfort I am in
I'm suffering a lot at the minute and I don't know how much longer I can hold out on the meds I'm taking (which dont work).

Blah another me post, sorry, I'm just really itchy and fed up today Plus it looks awful

ScorpiowithabigS · 11/03/2009 13:47

oh kat poor you sounds nasty!

We have also decided if we have another mc then no more, i feel its not fair to any of us - me, dh, dc, the babies that are being lost.

Have to do more glossing tonight. ds2 (4) is being very annoying. keeps saying 'pardon' even when he has heard. Grrrr.
