Hello everyone, no tickets required, just jump on the TTC Bus, and let's hope we'll all be getting off at the November Stop.

Add your name to the list as follows:

For anyone not familiar with the acronyms....that's what number child you are tring to conceive, how many cycles you've been trying, what day you are on, and what your usual cycle length is.

Sorry, I must add, I think I am still getting ewcm, just not as noticable as before if that makes sense.

latestarter2009 · 09/03/2009 15:26

makes sense to me nunnie - i used to have loads, not that i realised that's what it was at the time...i have a lot less now, but i don't think it critical as every woman produces different amounts..you can use a sperm friendly lubricant that mimics ewcm such as preseed

nunnie · 09/03/2009 15:31

I wondered what preseed was, might be worth a look. Thanks.

Rtuff · 09/03/2009 15:37

Hi Everyone,

Has anyone had any blood tests done? If so what are they testing for? We've being TTC for nearly a year and the doctor suggested blood test, which i have agreed to but as i had my 2 year old with me at the time i forgot to ask what it tests for!

Have re-added myself below. I know what you mean about the EWCM, i used to have loads years ago, when i wasn't even thinking about TTC. Now i have less, although i did notice some post ovulation (isn't it supposed to be leading up to ov?) this month.

Trying not to get my hopes up this month as i was so heartbroken last month. I even lost track of my cycle days for about a week, so that's progress. I didn't even ovulate till CD20 according to the cheapy tests. oh well.

Rtuff, don't have any experience of blood tests myself, but i have heard it's to check whether you're ovulating. Not sure which hormones they look for though. i'm sure someone else will.

hopeforbundleofjoy · 09/03/2009 15:58

heya all. still no af and all im getting is bfn. had blood results back mid last week did not ovulate been told to wait 10 days from last wed and test AGAIN!
if no bfp then to take clomid for 5 days.

dont you just take clomid after a AF?

Rtuff · 09/03/2009 15:58

Oh also i'm on 2ww so i'm in that horrible frame of mind trying to guess whether i am or not... but not holding out too much hope!

Because, you see, when AF just disappeared, and along with my other pg symptoms, I knew, just knew that I would get a BFP.

So today I bought two first response tests courtesy of Boots, and there it was...faint pink line .

DH is in denial, he says, nope, hardly there, it can't have happened so quickly? I was thinking 6 months? - er, if you wanted 6 months, you should said before I got the implant removed love!!!!

So, I shall, tentatively say good luck and hope to still some of you in the graduates section...I am not sure if I will wonder over there just yet, its still so early...

...and my sickness and nausea is just horrendous...and its very early yet!

pavlovthecat · 09/03/2009 18:30

latestarter2009 · 09/03/2009 18:55

congrats pavlov...i've read the more you puke the better it is as it means its taken well...so happy vomiting

the list looks quite good at the moment, more graduates than hopefuls (smile)

pavlovthecat · 09/03/2009 19:02

Latestarter - well estimates are that I am 4 weeks (according to last af, not ov) and I have been puking/feeling sick since wednesday morning at 10:30am! (I recall clearly when it started, just finished talking to DH on phone, felt fine, took a sip of coffee which I did not really fancy, then thought I was going to hurl...and from then on...).

rainbowdays · 09/03/2009 22:15

Congrats pavlov - it is good to hear that the sickness is definitely to do with pg and not a bug. Congrats again.
