Hi guys.

Tilly I was wondering about implantation bleeding because something unusual seems to be happening. However, you know that thing where you read too much into something, which then turns out to be nothing atall....and then you feel daft for even mentioning it?
Anyway, AF due prob this Friday coming, but started to have a bit of a brownish/bloody discharge (sorry, TMI I know )on Sunday, with period-type cramps. Appears to have stopped now. I know that I can't really be preg, but still getting hopes up!
Also seem exceptionally PMT-ish, very weepy..

Diege · 25/11/2008 09:09

Morning! Ruby, don't feel daft for mentioning it - that is what this thread is for . FWIW I had an implantation bleed with this pregnancy (not with any of others) 9 days after ovulation, period was due 6 days later.
TILLY, poor you with sick kids At least they will be recovered by xmas? Perhaps??? I am rubbish when mine are ill, can't cope at all, but between two of us we get through. I think both working we go into mega stress about who has to stay off, and then if we do put them in to school/nursery when we think they are better dread the phone ringing! Sounds very heartless I know .
BABYBLUE, good luck with hcg results. I think it would drive me crazy having such early tests; are they compulsory in canada?
SCORPIO, good luck of you decide to test. Is it the weekend you had in mind?
Feeling better today, over 10 weeks now so hopefully the placenta has decided to step in and take over the crap job my body has been doing

scorpio1 · 25/11/2008 09:36

babyblue - hope hcg is as it should be

Diege - mine was always 14 weeks magical cut off.....

Ruby - good luck!

Mimi has a tooth everybody!! And today i have left her at nursery for her first hour, I'm going back to uni soon.

cd34 today

SquidgyBrain · 25/11/2008 13:45

oooh scorpio - so testing tomorrow? hoping you don't see AF for a long time :O

WTG Mimi on her tooth!! and her first day at nursery!!

Hoping everyone else is doing great

rainbowdays · 25/11/2008 16:36

I am trying to build up some energy following sick children sleep deprived nights. As soon I will have to get busy getting jiggy with dh.

Scorpio, testing soon?!!!! My little Jak got his first two teeth this week too, both at the bottom.

Ruby - interesting - I wonder if you will turn out to be the miracle conciever here!

got to go dinner is about to burn....

tillyblue · 25/11/2008 20:54

Ruby, how exciting. That is the point tho isnt it? That you can talk to your pals on here about things you wouldnt always talk to RL friends about. So dont worry about sparing us with the gory details!

I always got that implantation bleed before AF was due.... could be. Will you test?

Babyblue: know how you feel, ds has been in bed with me with hacking cough. He lies sideways and uses my stomach as a trampoline all night. I am withering after 3 nights of it.

Final straw was when he poured choc yogurt all over cream sofa tonight. He saw my example of the human volcano erupt and put himself on the naughty step!

D and , what's worse was when dd2(10yrs) said would you like a glass of wine to calm you down Mum?

Oh god, I must be a terrible Mother! Dh has been away for 4 weeks allover the planet and been home for a sum total of about 4 days in 4 weeks.

Respect to all those single Mums out there.

rainbowdays · 26/11/2008 10:57

tilly - wow, I am amazed you are doing so well with dh away so much. hopefully today might be a bit better for you.

babyblue - how were the hcg results.

ruby - any update from you?

deige - how are you, still feeling better I hope>?

big wave to everyone else here....

ladylush · 26/11/2008 11:16

Any news Scorpio?

Diege · 26/11/2008 11:22

Hello! Hi Rainbow Are you feeling a little better after sick children drain? I'm ok thanks - gradually the sickness is reducing, which I am incredibly grateful for!
TILLY, phew, your evening sounds tough! I did have a little laugh about ds putting himself on naughty step Hope you get some respite soon at night, sounds really tough xx
Hope everyone else is well and happy - well as 'happy' as you can be with 3 children and xmas rapidly approaching!!!

RubysTheBoss · 26/11/2008 14:29

Hello everyone. Hope you are all well..

Diege, glad you are feeling bit better at last. My friend had her dating scan yesterday, she is 9wk 2days. Is that similar to you?

Tilly, hope you have had a better day.

Silly me, did a test today . Even tho AF not due till weekend, and test said 'from first day of missed period'. So it was always going to be a BFN. Feel really crappy about it now tho . I only called into ASDA to buy 'Mama Mia', so why the heck did I wander down THAT aisle??

Still losing tiny bits of blood, on and off. So will wait now and see what happens!

Scorpio, have you been peeing on anything yet?

Diege · 26/11/2008 15:37

Ruby, I think there is a magnetic strip that draws us to the pregnancy test aisle! Odd about your spotting. Hopefully you bought more than one and can hold out till weekend?
I'm 10 weeks 2 days. Dating scan around 12 weeks here. Very nervous - I'm probably one of the few pregnant women that don't like scans at all; was even tempted to forego the lot this time!

babyblue3 · 26/11/2008 23:30

Tilly - I would like to say thank you for a really good laugh!!! Naughty step and being offered wine!! LOL.. very cheeky! I could see my DC doing the same! I just went to the doctor today with the baby... AGAIN.. and now found out she has Bronchitis. I came home with a bag full of medication to give her... sigh... I ended up sleeping in DD1s bed last night because baby was in my bed snoring and coughing. DH had a good laugh when I told him the sound of her gurgly breathing was making me gag! But it ended up being the best sleep I've had all week. Am thinking of kicking DD out of her bed tonight from the start!

Scorpio - any news??

Ruby - don't worry too much. I took my test a little too early and it cam back neg. 1 week later and I got my BFP.

Diege - the nausea baton seems to have found me

I am still waiting for my HCG results. The receptionist was pretty rude and without checking, told me that the results were PROBABLY not in yet and that I should wait till she calls me! I spent over an hour in the lab yesterday to have blood drawn, was butchered by the nurse, and ended up bleeding all over my nice winter coat. I am getting close to being fed up with doctors!!

RubysTheBoss · 27/11/2008 06:34

Morning.

Well, as I always expected, AF has arrived. So what was that all about, naughty
body playing mean tricks?

Still waiting for appointment to see specialist re reversal, and DH not completely against it, so still hoping to go down that route.

Diege, after last nights dream , Gordon Ramsey is now my 'virtual hubby'.
What is it with these naughty boys ? Just woke up feeling VERY guilty, but with a smile on my face !

Diege · 27/11/2008 09:12

Oh RUBY sorry for af Have you been given a date yet for appointment? Do I detect dh is being a bit more positive? And you marriage breaker with Gordon ; poor Tana!!! I can sort of see the attraction, but will still stick to my Simon. Hope you used a condom - he's been around you know .
BABYBLUE what a pain about blood tests. Seems receotionists are the same the world over - I get quite nervous ringing mine! . Bad luck on getting the sick baton..that would be about right though as mine is def. reducing. Have you had it bad in previous pregnancies?
Hello to everyone else; hope you're all well .

rainbowdays · 27/11/2008 13:01

Hi all

Just a quick pop in today, as I have to plan on ways to seduce my dh again tonight!!!

ruby - sorry af came, hope the appointments all pan out alright for you and your dh gets a bit more positive as time goes on.

diege - so good to know you are coming out of the sicky stage.

babyblue - sorry to hear that the sicky baton headed your way, but at least it is a good sign. And totally understand the horrible receptionist thing!

Scorpio - where are you hiding,
and where is everyone else?

babyblue3 · 27/11/2008 22:33

Ruby - sorry about af. I didn't realize you are looking to get a tubal reversal?? It will work out. If I can get pregnant 3 times while my tubes are still apparently tied, you should have your success soon too! It sounds like DH is coming around. If we pester our men enough, they eventually cave in, if only to quiet us up! LOL

Well.. finally managed to get hold of my test results and they are great! My beta levels went fom 944 last week to 13103 this week. (They don't routinely test beta levels here, only if there is a problem or a history of some sort). I was so happy and relieved! I even managed to get my appointment for a scan... must be my lucky day. The best part... the scan is tomorrow afternoon!! I should have a nice picture of my little bean by this time tomorrow night. Hopefully anyway... I am a little nervous, as this is how I found out something was wrong with my last pregnancy. They couldn't find the sac, then I started bleeding few days later. Anyway... been feeling ok. Have had a headache for the last couple of days. Baby keeps me up at night with her coughing so I'm tired. And every now and then I smell something which makes me want to hurl. Other than that... I'm wonderful! This pregnancy so far has been much easier than the last ones. I had migraines, bad nausea, you name it!

Anyway.. I have rambled on enough... hope everyone is well... anyone getting close to testing time?? Rainbow - how did the seduction work out??

Diege · 28/11/2008 09:59

Morning!How is everyone today?
Hope the seduction went to plan RAINBOW
BABYBLUE, that's great news about bloods and scan. Can understand your nerves as that is exactly how I feel about my 12 week scan. Had a mmc in July, so feeling a little nervous to say the least. How many weeks are you now? It's good that you're getting the reassurnace you need now, and that are feeling so well!
Right, better do some of this 'working from home' I'm supposed to be doing!

scorpio1 · 28/11/2008 12:17

Just saying hi...think period is making an appearance today. That's fine , i want a sept/oct baby please!

Diege · 28/11/2008 14:13

If it is af then good luck for next month SCORPIO!

scorpio1 · 28/11/2008 14:55

Yes it deffo is....thats me in for the weekend. They are so terrible, i have to set my alarm to change at night, all sorts. When i had first emergency scan with pg3 they found a small fibroid, so would explain alot. I already have man flu...fab.

So last cycle was 36 days, about normal for me. Is it this time i would get Sept baby then?

Diege · 28/11/2008 19:19

I would say you'd be looking at end of Sept/early Oct with your cycle length, but I'm no expert. That af of yours sounds nightmarish - hopefully you won't have too many more to worry about after this one for a while

scorpio1 · 28/11/2008 19:27

oh apparently i would be looking at a Sept 11th ish baby which would suit me perfectly, ta very muchly.

~Ain't gonna happen though, takes me a long time always, about 6 months each time.

ladylush · 28/11/2008 22:07

Good luck for next time Scorpio. Enjoy the practising anyway

babyblue3 · 28/11/2008 23:04

Well... I went for my scan and it didn't make me feel any better. I am 5w5d and all they could find was a gestational sac. I was sooo disappointed that I could not even see a fetal pole. I am beginning to hate scans! I have been doing a lot of reading on the internet (what did we do before the internet!!) and there seems to be a consensus that most babies cant be seen before 6 weeks. Can a couple of days really make that much of a difference?? I'm worried, and I know I will not be hearing from my doctor for at least a few days, if at all. The technician told me to come back in a couple weeks and that I should be able to see something then. The good thing is that the sac dated me to 5w6d... right on target. Now I have to make another trip to the doc and then a further trip for the scan. sigh...

scorpio - your af sounds horrible... poor thing... hopefully it will be your last for a while..

Hope everyone has a wonderful and 'productive' weekend

Diege · 29/11/2008 10:29

Babyblue, panic not, it is totally normal not to be able to see anything before 6 weeks. I'm surprised they even scanned you that early. Our EPU won't do early scans before 6.5 weeks as they say they just create anxiety. The important thing is that you are right for your dates, and what you saw on the scan is also right for those dates. I'm sure you will be fine xx

Hope everyone is well. The house is an absolute tip and I am starting to care now that the sickness is abating. I still have waves of nausea, and am actually sick about once a day, but at 11 weeks tomorrow am hoping the worst has past
