Hi all.. love to join too.. Casting an eye on your DC's ages, I guess I'm the mad woman as DS1 is just 4, DS2 is just 2, DD1 is just 1 and here I am again trying for #4!!!! If I manage to get pregnant quickly, I could end up with 4 children, ages 4 and under.. Fairly impressive, if not a little bonkers! Actually, I'm trying to hang on a couple of months by still Bfeeding my little girl as it seems to be the only way to stop myself trying to get pregnant! (as yet, still havent had AF - 12 months later!)

Congrats Diege on your news..

Hopefully join you soon..

Tilly cp is a chemical pregnancy or at least thats what I assume I had. Had a BFP on day af due so was really pleased but being the serial tester that I am, the next test I did the line kept getting fainter by the day. Then started bleeding one week later as if normal af.

Welcome Jemimap!
Glad to see others trying for no.4 with young babies like me. We conceived ds1 and dd1 in the first couple of months but with dd3 we were ttc for about a year, so thats why we wanted to start ttc no4 pretty sharpish in case it takes a wee while. I always wanted a big family coming from one of 7 myself although I dont think I'll go that far.

Good Luck everyone

Scan fine! Measuring 8 weeks (I'm 7.4 so happy with that) Really releived as was fearing the worst after streak of blood this morning. Strong heartbeat too, so very, very happy!!!
Welcome to Jemi . My dd1 was only just over 1 when dd2 came along, and it was my easiest gap yet. Good on you for trying so soon - they get on so well with such a short gap (oh and the squabbling is something else )

I'm on cd5 at the moment so going to be busy the next couple of weeks . I'm going to go for it big time!!! Plus we happen to be away for the weekend next weekend for first time ever without kids and it will be perfect timing for serious romancing!!

hello, sorry not been around but I caught a sick bug off ds and am now feeling a bit more normal again.

Diege, fab news, so pleased for you.

So excited to see how many of us there are !! What I cant believe is those with tinies who are ttc. Think you are mad or inspiring, cant decide.
AF due 19th. (Or hope not at least)

Question: How soon do you start testing and where can I buy cheap ovulation tests and pg tests?

Thanks again for the good wishes I am honoured to stick around as the group's carroty mascot .
TILLY - I got a mix of ovulation/pregnancy (25?) tests off Ebay for about £2.50. Started testing after spotting at 10 days post-ov, and got an incredibly faint line on day 11 (cd 24). I think if you're prepared to get negs, but know there's a good chance it's too early, then test away with cheapies!
LOL GREEDY - I think the lady doth protest too much . Good luck with the hiding the condom
RAINBOW - I'm not sure about the acupunture actually. I felt it was taking the edge off somewhat, but then have been violently sick today after this morning's session. Will persevere as dh is paying - if it was my money I think I would be less keen
Hi ADIE! Sounds like things will be hotting up this week in the ADIE household. Anythibg remotely sexual is a distant memory, although I had an amazing dream about Simon Cowell the other night
SQUIDGY, is there any chance you could be pregnant this month, or are you waiting until af before lauching into ttc-ing?
Hello JEMI and anyone else I've missed

Hello there, mummies of many.
I would love to join your club too.
I am incredibly broody for baby #4, and all your chat is making me even more so!
So far I have ds 8yo, ds 6yo, dd 4yo.
Also dss,21 and dsd,19. (They live with us too, bit like the Waltons ).
The young ones are now all at school, and even tho life is getting back on track I am desperate for another. I expect that I could be grandma at anytime, but thats not the same, is it?
Now for the problem, I was sterilised after dd was born . I am making moves to get it reversed. Full support from dh (obviously he would be some sort of 'super stud' with 6 kids ).
I am aware that there are no guarentees that it would work, but a couple of months ago I felt incredibly pregnant, and AF was late, but then arrived with avengance! so hoping this means that I could be the 1/200 who can still conceive after sterilisation, and giving it our best efforts, tho prob in vain (but enjoying it anyway!!)
Am I one of the oldest members at 38?

Diege

Im hoping im in the game this month - but due to being ill didn't get much baby making action

but this 2ww is making me slightly mad - I have now got a really sore boob and feeling nausated oh and got a funny taste in my mouth - why does ttc turn us sane women into bonking mad creatures! I know that theses symptoms don't mean anything but I keep thinking mmmm I wonder! (no I don't get any of these symptoms normally and the last 3 times I have been pregnant the only symptom I had was the definate feeling I wasnt!)

come on Greedy you know you want to!

Congrats Nemo

Good luck us would be carrots!!

I am having a moment of doubt as to whether #4 is a good idea.... why am I doing this?

Report
RubysTheBoss · 08/11/2008 22:43

Hya rainbowdays
Of course *4 is a good idea. What difference does one more make, the more the merrier!
Saying that, I daren't tell anyone that I want another (esp my mum n dad), coz I know what they would say! ie 'Why would u want another when u can't cope with the 3 u already have!) But obviously I deserve a 'good baby', I have had 3 tantrum-filled-non-sleepers(till at least 3 yrs old).

Evening ladies! No-one in RL knows about our undercover(literally) operation either!!

Have plenty of moments when I wonder what on earth are we doing as well, like tonite when I had to do baths and hairwashing for all of them while dh is on a nite out, and ds decided to empty the bath with a boat pouring the water onto the floor, which then dd1 slipped and fell in and dd2 was just screaming because everyone else was!!! But then I think might as well go for it when I'm still in the baby-mode if u know what I mean, rather than wait a while. Also not getting any younger and of course the most important reason -I just Luuuurrrrvvvve babies!!!

Diege... Simon Cowell? I am using them and I know I ov about day 10. But the ones from the pharmacy are so pricey! Will try Ebay, thanks.

Ruby... wow. I dream of having a family as big as that. With the noise dd11, dd10 and ds2 make it ofen sounds like 6. How do you cope with all the washing? I am 38 too, so is Diege I think. I would love twins next to bring it upto 5 but like you we havent told a soul we are trying. I am so old all my friends are well and truly out of the baby phase.
Am impressed with the whole reversal . Good for you girl!

Squidgy, lol at poor unsuspecting DH!!! When can you test?

Adie- pml at bathtime.

Just been looking thro baby pics of the kids! Aaaaw, how gorgeous, why did I ever get sterilised?
