TTC #4 and lurking in the shadows really as some people may tut and say surely 3 is enough!

Just to change the topic slightly..... I got my first ever positive on an OPK test today. , I was just beginning to doubt that they work, then it appeared. Yippy!!!! So I ov in the next few hours I guess.... time to get busy.

Quick update, woke this morning with some more very light bleeding so went to the drs and I have a scan tomorrow at 12... eek

I also did another clearblue thingy and I got pregnant straight away and this time it said 2-3 weeks, 6 days ago I only got 1-2 so obv my HCG has gone up. Just hope it's not an ectopic but not having any pain other than twinges in my cervix (feels a bit like I'm having a smear test lol)

Am very confused.com hopefully I'll have more of a clue tomorrow. Am thinking I may be earlier than I thought but considering I got a faint positive test at 3+5 it's unlikely but stranger things have happened I guess!

Hi Rainbow, how're you doing at the moment?

Twigs - I am doing ok, I have had fun this month peeing on OPK sticks! I am feeling surprisingly confident, especially considering having had two chemical pregnancies in a row. But my mind is thinking, well I ovulated yesterday so today the little baby is starting to grow , wierd, but I do feel relaxed about everything this month. Still it is a little while yet before I start the peeing on different sticks . Anyways, how are you doing?

Nothing much happening with me, DH away as usual, he has agreed to ttc for a couple more months but I am trying not to become too obsessed with the idea as it seems to be a long shot with him working away all the time well you never know i suppose....

MrsD - good to hear that dh has not ruled things out totally. But it is hard when the odds are stacked against you. But as you say, you never know!!!

Ah, nice to see you both again. I'm very un-hopeful this month as my DH has had back muscle probs, so completely not up to doing the deed at all (very sad and sorry for myself) Did get him drunk, so pain lessened off on one night, but was cd 15 and think I ov'd on cd 13, so very little chance.

Glad you are having a couple of months more chances MrsD - and who knows how he'll feel then. Must be v. hard with him away so much (I find it difficult to do it at the right time and dh is here most nights!!) So Very Very good luck with it.

MRSD, great news about extra few months. If I were you I'd play it really low key with dh, not even mentioning when fertile days are etc, then if nothiing happens it won't feel such a big deal for him to carry on for another few months etc...

I'm feeling fine thanks. Bad night as per usual (find it really uncomfortable sleeping on side, and have bruises on each hip bone) and of course when I wake up the bean wakes and starts kicking away...Mustn't wish this pregnancy away though as def my last!!!

MrsD - congrats on the extension. I agree... playing it low key... DH may not even notice when the 2 months are up! They don't pay any attention to that sort of thing until we start nagging and making a big deal out of it! lol

Diege - sounds rough. I am also not sleeping at night... also can't get too comfy. Still have not felt the little bean moving, but got to hear the HB at my prenatal appointment yesterday. Was good and strong. Dh came with me and got to hear it for the first time.

My DD2 is still sick with the stomach bug... and feels the need to only vomit on me! I am sooo tired of cleaning up mess and doing the wash for this child! LOL... I am just thankful that her fever is gone, and that I don't seem to be catching it too.

Will check in later to see how Kats scan went.

Hi girls thanks for thinking of me, I'm still in limboland!
Scan showed nothing in uterus but she said that they wouldn't see anything if I am as early as my CBD's suggest (4-5 weeks). I'm def not 7+3 anyway... so basically I'm query m/c, query ectopic and query early pregnant! She couldn't see anything on the scan that would indicate an ectopic, everything looks nice and healthy and I have nice ovaries LOL.

So I got HCG bloods taken and they'll ring me tonight with the results and I have to go back on Thursday for 2nd lot.

HATE this! I have really sore boobs and nausea so I feel pregnant and all tests are still showing up positive. Everything would make sense if I was only 4-5 weeks but me and DH can't even remember doing the deed around then as 2 weeks ago I was bleeding....

Ho hum, I just want it to be over TBH so I can start again with a new cycle. ATM I feel like even if I am preg it's not good as I've had a couple of bleeds.

I'll check in later and let you know about my blood results.

Oh Kat, poor you. That does sound frustrating and hugely disappointing. I was so hoping they would see a little bean in there and then you'd know for sure.

I'm presuming you are not having any pain as that would be an indicator of ep, yes?

And the nausea and sore breasts are good signs for early days preg, but that is odd about the timing. Roll on Thursday for you so you can get some answers. come and vent on here in the meantime, if you need to. loads of love and thanks for letting us know, x

Oh Kat... I was really hoping you would get your answers one way or the other! Have they ruled out ectopic?? Hopefully your blood work will finally show something conclusive. In the meantime, think positive.

They're pretty sure it's not ectopic but can't rule it out completely. Haven't had any symptoms, any pain I've had has been just dull all over cramping.

Hope you are getting plenty of support and rest. Early mc sucks, esp when you have ahd 3 healthy pregs. I couldn't believe it when I had one in Dec.
