Thank you all for the welcome! I'll give you the short version of my colourful reproductive history! DH and I are both 36. It took us 1.5 years, a laparoscopy to remove endometriosis for me and hernia surgery for him to conceive DD1 (who is now 10). DS2 was conceived on the first shot 7 months later (and is now 9). DH did not want anymore kids (I wanted one more but gave in) so I had my tubes done in 2006. In 2007 I got pg anyway with DD3 (who just turned 1). We then decided to even the bunch and conceived DC4 in September, but sadly m/c at 6.5 weeks along. And here I am! Talk about a rollercoaster! I have to say, DD3 was the easiest. Although we had none of our baby things anymore, we now have the 2 older ones who help a great deal! They have been asking for another baby too. Will be testing tomorrow so I am hoping for the best!!

Hi SQUIDGY! Glad weekend went well - about af but you're right, it does make ttc-ing easier if you don't tell the world (apart from us lot of course )
RAINBOW, sorry about ds's sickness - fingers crossed you can 'confine' it and keep healthy yourself .
Feeling totally crap here. I am a bit of a man when it comes to sickness in general I'll admit, but this day in day out sickness is really getting me down now . Dh is being great about it, as is work, which does help, but I just can't see these next 2/3 weeks ending!!!! Someone give me a kick up the arse and tell me how lucky I am to be pregnant

Diege - you are so lucky

Squidgy - pleased to hear your weekend went well, plenty of time for a BFP

Ruby - Hope DH comes round to the idea soon.

And hello to everyone else... I've been lurking, but long may this thread continue, it is really nice to be able to natter like this, when everyone in rl is either saying 'don't have another, you're mad' or 'you'll be pg before we know it'

Hi everyone!! I got my BFP!!! Yippeeee!! Its a very faint line... but its definitely there! I even retested this morning just to be sure.. lol... Hopefully this one sticks. I went to GP this morning to do my beta, hopefully results in tomorrow morning and all will be good. My little one sick with bad cold and pink eye, so of course my wait in the doctors office was over an hour! She was fit to be tied by the time we were done. Then when I went to do blood work, she had a full out tantrum. I was mortified, exhausted and ready to cry... darn hormones! She was putting on quite the show... which made the receptionist bump me to the top of the list. Then of course my DD would not sit still while the nurse was trying to stab my arm. The tantrum started again and the lady waiting in the next cubicle came round to play with DD until I was done. 10 minutes of battling the last bit of temper while I tried to put on her coat and fasten her in the stroller and I was completely ready to give up. And now I'm prego with another??? LOL...She has NEVER behaved like this and if not for the kindness of strangers, I would have lost my mind! Sorry for the rant... needed to get it out of my system.

And how is everyone else???
Any others gettin close to test day??

That, and every hint of a cramp worries me. Its madness! Why cant we just feel lucky we are pg and move on... Diege... time to pass along that kick in the rump! LOL

Excellent news BABYBLUE . Yah, another carrot in the thread . I had a mmc in July, so know what you mean about anxious (although sickness is a marvellous distraction . Do you have a due dtae yet? (silly question ). Also, are you in the States? Sorry if you've said already - just ref to beta testing that got me thinking!
Hello to all! Look forward to you testing at weekend SCORPIO

yippy
congrats babyblue, so pleased for you. I hope you will stick around and be our second carrot!

well it is back to cd1 for me, but at least it arrived a day early so no wondering if what-ifs. PMT was terrible this month, but already starting to think more positive. I always wanted an august baby, so this coming month is when I have to try a bit harder!!!

Deige, could I use up the remainder of my pmt giving you a second kick!!! , you will get through these next couple of weeks, and then you will be blooming and not puking. Hope the sickness starts to receed really quickly now.

My baby has started crawling, we are in a new house and I am now discovering all the un-baby-proofed areas. But it has made him a little less clingy which is great.

Hi Rainbow! Sorry about af but you sound very positive. August would be a lovely time to have a baby . Thanks for kick too - bottom a little sore now after two kicks, but appreciate the sentiment .
I can't quite belief this but am feeling flutterings would you believe . Had these at 13 weeks with dd3, and 9.5 weeks now. Impossible on paper but they are so distinctive must be to do woth something going on down there!

Diege.. I'm in Canada. My beta levels were great at 944. My due date is July 26... not that my doc told me or spent much time with me!! After all that wait in the office, she practically passed me my coat and kicked me out!! LOL.. I can't believe you are feeling your baby!! Thats sooo exciting! And you know what? Even if it really is too early, what difference does it make if thats what you believe and it makes you feel good!

I am glad to be the next carrot Lots of hope for the others!

Rainbow - keepin my fingers crossed that you get your August baby! Im sure DH wont mind if Christmas finds him a little early and he gets lots of Lovin

As for me, I return to work on December 1st after my year and a bit of maternity leave and I am not looking forward to it! How much maternity leave do you ladies get in the UK??

got BFN on friday night

But very glad to hear you had a lovely break Squidgy; despite bfn, are you full of renewed enthusiasm to start all over again? it dawned on me that if I got pg this time I would be able to tell dh over the Christmas Turkey. Might be tricky, however, as MrTBlue will be in Turkey during optimum window!

Ruby, let us know what the GP says. I think your dh just sounds nervous rather than negative as such. Thinking it all through, which is a good thing, means he is considering it.

Babyblue, congrats on your July baby.thats just lovely.

Diege, ony a couple more weeks and hopefuly the sickness will go and you will be al rosy cheeked and twinkley eyed.

The break away was wonderful, and MrSB has been working away from home this week so I am rather looking forwards to having him home on Saturday!
