Squidgy, hope you have a great time this weekend, and Happy Anniversary too !Glad you sound ok about the BFN, but as u said, you're not out of the game yet!

Enjoy your weekend Squidgy - it sound fab . Sorry about BFN, but as RUBY says, ealry days yet.
RUBY, I think one area where acupuncture really does work is with fertility. I know there's lots of evidence about success in IVF cycles, and general fertility. Might be worth investigating?
TILLY, I'm sure your BFN was a 'too early to test one'. Agree about Louis - I would for £1 million, but other than that no chance
Thanks for the list RAINBOW! Wow, where has everyone come from!

I have a dilemma about my sickness. Was prescribed stemitil yesterday, but have since googled and found it's not recommended in first trimester . The usual drug company insurance spiel I'm sure, but I am a compulsibe worrier and am thinking could I just hold out a few more weeks? I will be 9 weels on Monday, and with dds it was def. tapering off at 12 ish weeks..I don't know, relief for a few weeks or worry for 9 months??.Argh!!!

Hope everyone is well, sicky carrot

Hello girls .

Diege-poor you feeling soo rubbish!I think that I would be a bit unsure about taking anything too, but the GPs will know what they are doing , so I s'pose it depends wether you can stick it out for a few more weeks! I am sending you big 'Ginger Biscuit vibes', hope they help! Plus you will get a big dose of Simon tomorrow to take your mind off it.

Just got the info through from Hospital about the reversal. Price starts from £3500! OMG! Think DH might have second thoughts about this when I tell him . Will let you know what he says later!

Report
Diege · 14/11/2008 17:24

Oooh SCORPIO so figure you will be busy tonight
RUBY - you speak sense! That's where I'm at at the moment - how long can I stick it out? Am taking one day at a time at the moment - the sickness is certainly peaking (I hope ) so this time next week I will be nearly there...Oh and yes Simon always eases the pain a little Can't imagine getting much sympathy from him on sickness front if he was my dh.......
Can't believe price of reversal . Would they do it on the NHS? Having said that people spend more on a new kitchen so maybe you could use that line with dh??? How priceless babies are etc??? Maybe???

Rainbowdays, sorry it was me (Spannie) I started another thread about giving a new baby wishes and didnt want to confuse folks. Sorry.

Felt queasy all day on and off am day 23 of 28 so that must be psychological right?

Squidgy is probably on romantic holiday now, aahh just think . How lovely. Wish I was somewhere far away instead of here in the kitchen upto my eyes in washing up and screaming kids.
DD1 is fighting with dd2 and ds is trying to ride the dog. Dh is probably in the Pub.

Remind me again why am I trying for #4?

squidgy - hope you are enjoying your weekend with your dh

ruby - ouch that is expensive, I knew it was an expensive procedure but it is not easy to think of it in terms of what the outcome would hopefully lead to.

tilly - you are trying for #4 because it is going to be great! especially when we are all together on the pg with our fourth -thread that we will have to create.

Tilly hope you are still feeling sick (in the nicest possible way! ).

Diege hope you are feeling bit better today. Was reading a mag last nite, article about Mr Cowell (or Simon Cow-Hole, as DD calls him, then runs away laughing hysterically). Apparently he doesn't want a wife or kids, so trying to put him out of my mind, just to avoid heartbreak further down the line. Prob not worth ditching your current DH for him afterall ! Now Barack Abama....

Told DH about the cost of the op. I can safely say that he winced abit! But going to see GP next week to discuss options. So all is not lost yet .

Diege · 15/11/2008 10:16

RUBY, I think a wince is quite a good reaction from dh . Def sounds positive with GP visit . Oh and Obama..hmm yes can see what you see in him, but I'll stick to my Simon for now

DD2's birthday today, and sickness seems to be a bit better. Holding off drugs for now but nice to know they are there if I them!

Think my last fertile day was yesterday, so feel chuffed with my efforts. Am getting more excited but also chilled; i am still properly BF.

I'm looking at the stats and thinking we are all insane there's quite a few of us with babies under one and ttc #4.

I'm EBF #3 I had one day of slight bleeding but nothing since then so chances are I'm not ovulating.

I think if I were to have number 4 I would put off ttc until June next year so theres nearly a 2 year gap between 2 and 3 also that works out better for schools up here in Scotland.

What can we say - 3rd babies must be fab to mke us have more! 2-3 was definitely the least jump for us, its like she has always been here, she is a much adored little member of our family

DH is fighting soon, so we will have to be on sex ban. for 2 weeks (ish) luckily it looks like they will be my period week and a few days after, so just in time for ov!! (am late over, like cd19). So thats all fine! He thai boxes.

Welcome babyblue! This is a great thread - we all have so much in common, most of all our rose tinted glasses .
As with SCORPIO I also found transition from 2 to 3 the easiest. DD3 has just slotted in and while there's more washing I honestly can't say things are any harder (just more fun). There is a little 'divide and conquer' creeping in though - overheard dds 1 & 2 saying to dd3 this morning 'no you can't play; only girls who do wees in the toilet can join in this game' . Just another 7 months or so and she will have an ally!

OK calling to order our addicts meeting.....Hi my name is Rainbowdays and I am a POAS addict, it has been 3 hours since my last stik which was negative. !

Diege, I love the divide and conquer technique in your household! Have you said anything to your other children yet about being pg?

Welcome babyblue, hope you enjoy the craziness here. Can I ask how old your other children are?

Sweetkitty, I ebf until 6 months, did not get my af back til 4 months started with a light bleed, but since then has been each month, and I am sure I have started oving before I gave up ebf. I am still breastfeeding several times a day, but hopeful as I got pregnant while breastfeeding before. Are you actively trying now?

Scorpio - good timing for the fight at least!

Ruby - I hope we have lots of babies between us but I am definitely only going for one more for me!!!!!

tilly - anymore symptoms or poas???

squidgy - hope you had a fantastic weekend.

Diege · 17/11/2008 14:12

Hi RAINBOW LOL at your POAS addiction . Where abouts are you cd-wise now?
No, we haven't told dds about baby yet - still paranoid after mmc in July, so may tell after 12 week scan. My tummy is a little bit rounded to say the least, despite losing 8 pounds with sickness so may not have an option soon!

Have just worked out im on cd 26, supposed ov on cd24 , normally 19. Guess the BF makes it all over the place anyway? Just a waiting game for period, have decided to test a week saturday if no period before.

Hello babyblue, nice to meet you .
Hope the rest of you are all well.

squidgy, I hope you enjoyed your dirty romantic weekend!

Bit fed-up today. DH seems to have developed an unusually practical side. He keeps saying really rubbish things, like 'What if we pay thousands for the reversal, and it doesn't work?', or 'If we have another baby, we won't have enough bedrooms, and will need a bigger car!' I can't see a problem myself!
I am still going to see GP, and see what she has to say. In the meantime, I am working on DH to try and change his mind .

Report
sweetkitty · 17/11/2008 16:23

rainbowdays and scorpio - with DD1 AF came back 6 weeks after bleeding stopped with DD2 it was nearer 12 months (milk monster), DD1 was 9 months when I got pregnant with DD2, DD2 was 18 months when I got pregnant with DD3 but that was due to periods not returning for a year and I had a mc inbetween.

No I am not ttc right now just thinking about a fourth, it will be a long think. Part of me says NO WAY, part says go for it and have them all close together, part of me says wait and see DD1 goes to school next year, DD2 the year after.

I blame the hormones and the fact newborns are way too cute
