mrsdisorganised · 27/01/2009 20:13

lol!!!! Due af on 29th but was going to try not to test until 31st....hard though!! How about you?

KatB · 27/01/2009 20:29

OOh all exciting I'm NEVER POAS again until AF is actually late - I drove myself mad last month!

But feel free to amuse me with your POAS antics

mrsdisorganised · 27/01/2009 20:34

Will do Kat!! Although tbh don't feel remotely pg this month and with my last pregnancies I just knew before I tested....thats why I'm leaving it till I'm late

rainbowdays · 28/01/2009 11:06

good morning all,

Well I am in a super-positive frame of mind at the moment. I am totally confident for myself, and wish to pass on that confidence to our two "yet to POAS" girlies here. I hope that you have got it wrong Mrs and that you are in fact pg. Scorpio - are you feeling pg?

OK best go sort out the kitchen, it looks a mess!!!!

mrsdisorganised · 28/01/2009 11:08

Thanks Rainbow...so pleased you're feeling like that! If it's any consilation my kitchen seems to be messy all the time....maybe thats because it's tine and I have too much 'stuff'!

mrsdisorganised · 28/01/2009 11:09

'tiny' even

rainbowdays · 28/01/2009 11:12

Well here I have huge kitchen so haven't got that excuse , I think MN is to blame in my case

mrsdisorganised · 28/01/2009 11:14

Think MN is to blame for my complete lack of housewife'ness!

scorpio1 · 28/01/2009 11:35

Ooooh Rainbow you do sound chirpy! I have sore boobs and cramping. All standard PMT stuff, don't forget.

I have a ds2 going spare today. very beautiful, but slightly annoying

rainbowdays · 28/01/2009 12:42

arggg! at dd's montessori school this morning they gave out registration forms for the school. But she is going to a different school to all the others and now she is upset because she does not want to go to big school...... why oh why does it have to start already, it is not for months yet and already she is freting about it.

babyblue3 · 28/01/2009 13:52

Good Morning
Well... my DC have a day off school today, and I am home from work. Looks like I will have several new grey hairs by the end of the day! LOL. I have also decided to keep the baby home from daycare, as the snow is quite heavy and I don't feel like driving in it. I am sooo tired of SNOW! The mountains next to my walkway are over my head now... I have no idea where I am going to put the snow from my walkway today. Sigh... DH is telling me not to shovel the snow, but by the time he gets home from work, he won't be able to find the driveway! Are you ladies getting much snow where you are?

Diege - how was your scan? Do we know the sex???

I can't believe the POAS addicts are showing so much restraint! LOL..

scorpio1 · 28/01/2009 15:51

Rainbow - ds2 starts school in September and is keen some days, and not others.

Diege - oh yes you must tell us about scan!

Sooooo savage here, and tired, very PMTish. Great fun. DH not home from work until 5.30pm, then out again at 7pm.

rainbowdays · 28/01/2009 18:59

Diege - where are you, please come and tell us about the scan.....

KatB · 28/01/2009 22:01

Grrrrrrrrrrrr
DH has just informed me he's away with work Monday until Friday next week CD14 is Thursday or Friday
I'll jump him on the Friday night but probably not good for this month.

Diege hope everything went ok with the scan xxx

mrsdisorganised · 28/01/2009 22:34

I know how you feel Kat, ttc when dh works away all week every week and sometimes at weekends is turning out to be a nightmare!

Diege, wondering if everything is ok x

rainbowdays · 28/01/2009 22:34

Kat - how inconsiderate of your dh's work! Your only saving grace is that having just lost a little one, you might ov slightly later this month, so as long as you pin him to the bed all the next weekend you could be in with a good chance. My Dh has the afrontory to have his 40th birthday, and is going on a drinking session to celebrate, so any attempts we make will be with drink ladened spermies! Not such a good timing for us either!!!!

rainbowdays · 28/01/2009 22:43

I have just been tracking down Diege - I was getting worried, but without trying to steal her thunder (when she finally finds her way back to us!! ) All is ok. So I am just trying to decide whether to tell her to get back here now or see how long it takes for her to remember us

Diege · 28/01/2009 22:51

As if I'd forget you lot Just back tonight from London, and as RAINBOW says, all fine with scan. They did pick up cps (choroid plexus cysts) on brain, which sounds scary, but when seen in isolation are considered to be of no concern (are linked with edwards syndrome if other markers). All babies have them, but usually disappear by 15 weeks - still there in about 3% at 19 weeks. So, a little worried about that, but consultant very reassuring, and has never seen a problem with isolated cpcs .
And...we did find out sex after all, and it's a BOY!!! . Really, really shocked, but very happy too .
Sorry for the me post - will read through everyone's news tomorrow - time for bed now!!

mrsdisorganised · 28/01/2009 22:57

Oooohhh how exciting can go to bed smiling now, I'm so pleased for you Diege, sleep well!!x

KatB · 28/01/2009 23:37

Yey a boy! Am totally even more jealous now - little boys are scrummy! My friend came over with her 10 week old baby boy yesterday and I played with him for ages, didn't want to give him back!! Made me even more broody!

I know what it's like to worry about things you see on scans... when I was preg with Lily the scanning woman wrote on the notes that she had a 'dolicephalic head but normal appearances'! She mentioned during the scan (very offhand non worried way) that the baby had a small head and I came home and googled everything LOL. Spoke to the mw a few days later at my next appt and she reassured me loads. When it comes to the health of your baby even small things terrify you even when the rational part of your brain knows it's fine.

Anyway, she was/is fine if a little evil at times.

scorpio1 · 29/01/2009 09:48

Diege - is this your first ds? Wow!

I'm feeling a little meh today. Bad PMT symptoms still, but im only about 8dpo at most. DH has done nothing here this week, literaally not a sausage (work, training, etc)just want someone to look after me. Very tired too.

rainbowdays · 29/01/2009 10:03

Diege - Big congratulations on your good scan news and, wow, how will you cope with turning she into he, when talking to people I found it hard enough after one. Great news for you.

rainbowdays · 29/01/2009 10:06

Diege - only one problem for you, now everyone will assume that you had four children because you were trying for a boy.... so my solution for you is to have a 5th and 6th baby.... , just kidding

Scorpio - so sorry that you are feeling low, PMT is horribe, and without dh to support you it is even worse. Come and talk to us about it all.

scorpio1 · 29/01/2009 10:08

i am too big of a whinger if i start

seriously though he is leaving house at 7.30am, getting in at 6pm and training starts at 7, so i am doing everything (he has to eat and shower in that hour). He has 6 fights in 4 months so has to train, but im exhausted, and last weekend we had a massive arguement so that was wasted rest opportunity....oh i dunno! Must be mad adding to this!
