Twiglettini · 25/01/2009 21:33

Hello theboob, sorry about your mil, that is so unnecessary. How are you feeling otherwise?

MrsD, really hope you are preg with no symptoms and get a BFP this week. If he is adamant that is it, he could well change his mind in a couple of months, so don't give up hope.

scorpio1 · 25/01/2009 21:34

oh yes, they do

no really sore, almost throbbing, up in my armpits as well. i do get very bad pmt though.

mrsdisorganised · 25/01/2009 21:37

Would be lovely Twig but I don't think so.....will keep working on him!

Stop prodding Scorpio you're making me feel sore

Good luck with the sacn Heinz, exciting!

KatB · 25/01/2009 21:46

Hiya,
I was only about 5 weeks = might test again in the morning but tbh the way I was bleeding for even that one day was so heavy I can't imagine anything positive could come of it.

My boobs are still really sore but I guess that's the hormones getting back to normal

babyblue3 · 26/01/2009 00:20

Sorry about your MIL theboob... hopefully she will come around before long.

KAT - even if you do a hpt it may still come up pos because your hormones aren't back to normal. I would hate to see you get false hope for nothing. I hate to sound so neg... but I did that very thing after my M/C, and it just made me feel worse when I finally had blood work done at GP's office which confirmed my levels were going down. I only bled for a couple of days heavy, then spotted for a couple after my m/c. Hopefully everything will be ok with you this time.

Well.. I'm 14 weeks today, so officially in my 2nd trimester. Still nauseous... boobs still hurt (Scorpio.. all your poking is making mine hurt more )... still soooo tired. But very happy to be pg.

rainbowdays · 26/01/2009 07:47

KatB - did you test this morning?,, I do also want to echo what babyblue said, about not getting too excited if you get a positive, it could be residulal hcg, but it is useful if you get a negative to put your mind at rest over it, and not be wondering still. If you get a positive then you should go to doc's for blood tests, to check if levels rising/falling.

I am feelling much more positive today, , being in limbo-land for so long was horrible, although I am that it ended as it did, I feel happier knowing what is happening now. . And I will be making sure I have a happy birthday in a couple of weeks

KatB · 26/01/2009 09:19

Hiya,
I know all about HCG levels etc.. I tested and still have a faint positive on the ebay cheapie (they never got any darker for me). I know I can't be pregnant any more though, I just want to get back to normal so I can try again.
I'll test again in a few days and if I'm still reading positive then I'll start worrying about ectopic etc... lol.
Glad you're feeling better rainbow, I know what you mean, I'd much rather know yes or no than be in limboland.
BB I'm so excited for you being in your 2nd trimester!!! Are you getting nice and fat yet???
xxx

Twiglettini · 26/01/2009 10:44

Good morning. Hope you are all doing OK.

Rainbow, glad you are feeling chirpier. Will your birthday coincide with ovulation??? happy birthday bonking??!!

Have we all had miscarriages at some point on here - it does seem like an awful lot of us have. Though with the number of children between us, I guess it is not surprising.

This was my second in a row, so hoping for third time lucky (3rd mc overall)

hoping every one has a happy week - good luck to those soon to POAS - here's hoping for some BFPs!!

babyblue3 · 26/01/2009 13:13

Good Morning Ladies!
How are you all doing? I'm sitting in class right now... up way too early this morning! Good thing wasn't as sick as I thought I would be!

Kat-hope you get things sorted. And yes... gettin nice and FAT! I look like Im 5 months along already! LOL... I was too chubby when I started this pg to begin with. LOL... I think I am the same weight as I was when I was 5 months along with DD2... sigh... I try not to think of that! Didn't really bother getting back into shape, as I knew I wanted one more. After this baby born... personal trainer and gym membership here I come!

scorpio1 · 26/01/2009 13:42

Twig - i haven't been pg here yet and have had no mc's (touch wood) so far.

Hope you are all doing a little better today.

Twiglettini · 26/01/2009 13:54

Sorry, didn't mean miscarriages while on MN, just miscarriages in general. Got my fingers crossed for you Scorpio, you don't ever have one - you are a fair bit younger than me, and they are more common the older you are, so hopefully you'll be lucky

BTW have just watched first episode of new series of ER and cried my eyes out - prob still hormones all over the place, but it was good to have an outlet .

scorpio1 · 26/01/2009 13:56

It's ok to cry its good for the soul. I appaear to be mega broody today- weird i have days of where i am, and days where i am not really. I'm 24, and no, no mc's. I know several people my age who have though Very sore boobs still, cd26. and very tired.

mrsdisorganised · 26/01/2009 14:20

Hello! What day is your af due scorpio?...don't understand cd...

Twig you do need an outlet and it's good for you, even though it feel rubbish, I had a mc last year about 6 weeks i think, my first mc and so glad it happened early obviously something not right and it wasn't meant to be

Babyblue lol about getting fat...and gym, sounds just like me! Glad you're happy though.

Having a bad day today, very tearful, bashed our new car whilst reversing round a horrid corner (single track, stone wall and sea ont he drivers side, rockface on the passengers side) usually I'm so carefull, phoned DH who left to go away to work this morning and he was lovely which made me cry more, going to cost a fortune methinks!
Sorry very self obsessed post and nothing to do with ttc...nowhere to vent and don't want to start a thread.....

Hope everyone is ok today, x

scorpio1 · 26/01/2009 14:21

im on day 26 of cycle, i guess about another 6 days to go.

oops at car - dont worry, your dh sounds lovely. mine was an arse all weekend.

Twiglettini · 26/01/2009 14:28

Sorry you're having a grim day, MrsD. It is horrid to bash the car, isn't it, but it sounded like a very tricky manoeuvre (sp?), also understand how DH being lovely made you cry more - it's when people are nice - isn't it.

Do vent at us, it is nice to hear bits about other people's lives, even the grim/sad bits.

Scorpio, sorry your DH was an arse - did make me lol, though, the way you put it , hope he stops being an arse soon.

just off to ballet with DD2 x
