Oh Rainbow... how sad. My thoughts are with you and Twigs and Kat. Hopefully this is a quick bad spell, and that things will start to look up.

I am spending the weekend catching up on chores and laundry. Yesterday we were very lucky to be down to just the baby. DD1 had a sleepover and DS went to the movies with friends for the evening. DH and I were able to sit and watch a movie and have dinner in peace! Was very nice. Too bad I am still soooo tired, and all I wanted to do was go to bed early. LOL.. poor DH... we are still in famine here!

Tomorrow and Tuesday my work is sending me for computer training. While I was on mat leave with DD2, we changed our system. Now I have to upgrade. Breaks up my week a bit, but the course starts at 7am. That means gettin up at 5:30am! Yuck! I know my body is not gonna like that!

Twiglettini · 25/01/2009 17:15

Oh, Rainbow, I'm so sorry. I was really hoping it was good news due to your lack of AF. It is so sad, even though it is early, you still make plans and get your hopes up, poor poor you.

I've had a busy week end. Was utterly exhausted on Friday after 5 year old party, then celebrated his birthday yesterday seeing family, very busy, and tiring, but did distract me from sadness. Just feel miserable today though and very pesimistic about getting to the giving birth stage.

Thank you for your support, much love to you all, specially Kat and Rainbow x x

scorpio1 · 25/01/2009 20:26

Twig - hang on in there, it was great you did the party still yesterday.

I seem to have very sore boobs, pmt-ish feeling ones. arrgghh

KatB · 25/01/2009 20:50

Hi guys,
I'm sorry to hear your news Rainbow, hope you are feeling better soon. I agree that it's def time for some good news round here!

Been out all day at a smelly, hot dancing competition with dd1 and I'm knackered! Really weird but my bleeding has stopped... it started on Thurs night then was really heavy on Friday and started easing off yesterday afternoon. I had no cramping or pain either.... a 2 day AF??? I'm very confuzzled. Any ideas?

Anyway, back to uni tomorrow can't be bothered...

HeinzSight · 25/01/2009 20:53

KatB have you tested again? It may have been implantation bleeding. Keeping fingers crossed for you x

theboob · 25/01/2009 21:00

rainbow i'm so for you ,keeping my fingers crossed for you x x
also i think you should test again katb fingers crossed for you too x
twig hope your feeling well xxx
thinking of you all

Twiglettini · 25/01/2009 21:10

Kat, that does sound weird, but definitely worth another test. How preg were you, I'm sorry I can't remember?

Mine has calmed down into light period bleeding, which has made me feel more positive as previous (much later) mc went on for ages, had to have scan, then erpc due to concerns re molar preg, so it was all quite scary and complicated.

Rainbow, are you there? how are you doing?

Too right, bring on the good news... talk to us, Diege, Heinzsight, Nemo and Babyblue. Remind us of the good bits of why we are here

rainbowdays · 25/01/2009 21:13

Well the bleeding has started, so at least I now know for sure I am back onto CD1. I have to make this cycle count as dh has said that we have to put a limit on how long we try for, and I agree.

Kat - the short-lived bleeding is a bit strange. Have you checked that your tests have returned to bfn's yet?

well it is late and dh is watching Lost, so I am going to bed, goodnight all.

scorpio1 · 25/01/2009 21:15

Kat i would test again too.

Rainbow - look after yourself.

mrsdisorganised · 25/01/2009 21:15

Hey Twig, glad to hear everything is settling down it must be tough though.....have been spending the last hour trying to convince DH to ttc until March but he's not going for it, so I fear i won't be here much longer AF due this week and I don't 'feel' pregnant, January was our ttc deadline.....we'll see.

Kat...sounds a bit strange, another test wouldn't do any harm.....

Rainbow hope you're ok x

Big hello to everyone else!

scorpio1 · 25/01/2009 21:16

mrs - can i ask why you have a deadline?

theboob · 25/01/2009 21:17

my mother in law will not return our messages
so i guess she dissaproves of num 4,everybody else is happy family wise

mrsdisorganised · 25/01/2009 21:18

Because we are ttc#5 and we wanted baby to come along this year.....I would keep trying but can't force dh obviously!... How are you Scorpio?

rainbowdays · 25/01/2009 21:20

theboob - about MIL, horrible when people can do this to upset an otherwise very happy event.

mrsdisorganised · 25/01/2009 21:20

theboob, thats very childish of her, try to stay strong and don't stress it's bad for you!!! She'll be ok when num 4 comes,?
(((hugs))) to you anyway x

scorpio1 · 25/01/2009 21:21

i know what you mean at forcing them, lol Well i hope it happens for you this month then! DH (and me) we sometimes have a slight wobble about ttc again but then we say about an hour later that we want to again!

theboob - for you. My MIL will be similar.

scorpio1 · 25/01/2009 21:22

oh and im fine thankyou, all of a sudden feel very pmtish today very sore boobs. cd25

theboob · 25/01/2009 21:24

I'm sure she will get over it.......not sure if i will though, little bit mad at being made to feel like this is wrong
never mind

scorpio1 · 25/01/2009 21:25

its not wrong though, you are extending your family, what could possibly be sad about that?? Its not your problem; its hers. What does dh say?

theboob · 25/01/2009 21:28

DH says very little ,but i can see he is upset, she normally visits on a wednesday, lets see if sh turns up! thankyou for your support and kind words x x

mrsdisorganised · 25/01/2009 21:28

I know theboob you must feel very hurt and let down, absolutely agree with Scorpio, you will have a lovely new addition to your family x

scorpio1 · 25/01/2009 21:29

Ahh, my DH is the same. A sort of keep quiet it will go sort of man, you know? Let us know how wednesday goes.

I'm excited about my sore boobs

HeinzSight · 25/01/2009 21:32

theboob, I'm for you, what a horrid lady she sounds , it's not like she has to look after the baby or anything, what's her problem?

I told my MIL on Friday, she did exclaim on the phone, but she said it's a good thing and it had occurred to her that Niamh was possibly going to suffer because of there being such a big age gap between her and her brothers.

I've got my nuchal scan booked for Tues 3rd Feb, afterwhich I shall be telling all. I'll post any interesting comments/remarks!

theboob · 25/01/2009 21:33

lol have visions of you prodding them every 2 mins to see if they still hurt now scorpio

scorpio1 · 25/01/2009 21:33

ooh please do heinz! We will be telling the world after 12 week scan.
