scorpio1 · 12/01/2009 19:44

Charlotte Church is calling her baby my fictional ds3 (dc4's) name! Dexter. pooh. now there will be millions of them!

theboob · 13/01/2009 01:34

Twig i cant remmber with DS1,but ad no sickness in pregnancy
with DD i had severe morning sickness and early nausea, and nothing at all with DS2 ,i think I'm just grabbing anything i can,I'm driving myself crazy lol

I have noticed I'm always hungry ,this past week and fell asleep at 7pm tonight only to be awake nowI think these 2 weeks are going to be long

rainbowdays · 13/01/2009 08:43

Update from me - BFN and no AF! CD28, average length of cycles 26, but vary between 23 and 35. Only ever 34/35 with post-pregnancy cycle, never 33 days but about once a year at 32 days. So Could still be waiting another few days yet and af make an appearance. The best way that I will know if I am pregnant or not is if my dad tells me!!!! . No seriously, he has "known" before me with each pregnancy, he has told me what the sex of the child was, and last time he even correctly predicted the name we would give the baby (a name my dh hated at the time !!!). The time I had a miscarriage, my dad did not know I was pregnant until I told him. So rather than pee-ing on sticks, I should be phoning him I think!!!! I really don't think I am pregnant at the moment, but just wish that I could know for sure.

theboob - I had the reverse to you, I had bad morning sickness with my ds1 and 2, but ok with my dd! So if I get pregnant again, I really really want a girl!!!

twig - more early morning nausea with you still?!?! With chemical pregnancy the egg fails to implant properly, so the period might be a little late. My last period was much heavier and longer than normal, and I got very very faint to non-exisent colour with the evaporation lines I was getting (normally there are no evaporation lines on the tests that I use). I am not sure at what point the medical terms change from chemical pregnancy to early miscarriage, but most doc's seem to use them fairly interchangably.

How are all the carrots here? - we have not heard from you for a couple of days.

OK I better go and get dd ready for montessori, and then my mother and toddler group.

Twiglettini · 13/01/2009 09:54

Thanks for the info, rainbow - am impressed at 08.45 post with 3 children! Your dad sounds amazing, how early did he guess with the others?

Scorpio - poor you, that's SO annoying when that happens. Though if you really like the name, I'd go for it anyway

No more symptoms at all, which is probably a good thing as they only get my hopes up.

Good luck to us all.

RubysTheBoss · 13/01/2009 09:57

Hi there everyone .

Not been on here for ages, and just having a little peep to see how you are all doing. Looks like there are some lovely new gang members on here.

Think 'we' have decided not to go down the 'reversal route'.... So hopefully Dh 'super-sperm' will perform a miracle, as DH is expecting them to , as I am still longing to be a carrot!

Anyway, Happy New Year to everyone, and may we (you) all be mummies again in 2009 xxx

Twiglettini · 13/01/2009 14:25

Aw, Rubystheboss, really sorry for you. How did the two of you come to that decision?

Diege · 13/01/2009 15:19

Hello! . RUBY, that's a shame about the reversal ; do you think dh could be moved or is it a definite no? Still, never say never - in a few months time he may have a rethink, esp if he sees how important it is to you?
Good luck with testing RAINBOW . Agree that you get to a point where you just need to know either way. Same for you TWIG - when do you test?
All fine here. 17 weeks now, and just sick in evenings when tired. Going back to work has been a bit of a killer tiredness-wise, but I'm getting back into the swing of things. Pleased to be a carrot though, and hoping we have a few more very soon!

scorpio1 · 13/01/2009 15:48

Rainbowdays - my dad does that too!!!

Got my hair done today, yay. (pic on profile if you care, lol) nice to get some quiet.

theboob · 13/01/2009 16:00

loving the hair scorpio....and what lovely photos you have too
your DC are beautiful

rainbowdays · 14/01/2009 09:37

Twigi - my dad guessed with the other before I knew I was pregnant!!!! We vividly recall the first time it happened, as dh and I had not told anyone we were ttc, no one knew, I was in the middle of the 2ww. My mum was laughing at my dads ridiculous vision of my dh and I with a little boy. It was a week later that I got the BFP!!! With each of the pregnancies my dad seems to have "known" before I have!!!

Ruby - sorry to hear that your dh has had a change of heart. Lets hope you get that miracle baby anyway.

deige - good to hear that you are getting back into the swing of things with work, hope that you are getting plenty of rest to combat the tiredness.

My update - cd29 BFN and no af.

mrsdisorganised · 14/01/2009 10:59

Hello all!

Twigi my FIL is the same, he always knows when I'm pregnant...he says it's because he's a farmer and he recognises the signs!

Rainbowdays.....you're still waiting for af, it's not much fun, hope you get a decision from your body soon so you know where you are!

Still hoping for you Ruby x

Theboob, I was always exhausted at the beginning although now it seems to be constant anyway......am I mad Hope you can survive the 2ww, fingers crossed!

Diege glad the ms is passing...it's a killer!

No news here....DH home on friday, estimated ov on sunday so maybe I'll actaully be in with a chance this month, trying to persuade him to ttc until March

Hope everyone is ok, babydust(sprinkle sprinkle) to all!!!!

KatB · 14/01/2009 16:25

Hi girlies,

I'm still here on CD26 but done a couple of ebay cheapies and BFN so not feeling too positive, just waiting for AF really .

Not actually as devastated as I thought, in reality we aren't in a HUGE hurry, the longer it takes the better off we'll be financially I suppose but I REALLY want to get pregnant NOW!!! Can't believe how obsessive I am and it's only our 1st month. I think because of the mc I need something to focus on so I don't think about it.

Anyway, it's not over til the witch arrives so I'll keep checking in until she does.

xxx

rainbowdays · 15/01/2009 08:11

Update: cd30 BFN and no af, I think af will arrive on saturday.

Diege · 15/01/2009 14:03

Kat, take things easy, it's hard after a mc and I was the same after mine in July - almnost as if your life's on hold until you get a BFP (for me at least). As you say though, it's not over yet for this month 0 I didn't get even the faintest line with dd1 until 6 days after af due.
RAINBOW, good luck to you too! Have you any symptoms of af or is your feeling just a hunch? Fingers crossed .
All good here - better after getting roots done this morning at hairdressers . Not been sick for a week too, so hoping I've turned that corner.

KatB · 15/01/2009 20:41

Thanks D, I think I might have got a faint line on an ebay cheapie this afternoon. It wasn't FMU and I was expecting BFN so I saw control line come up straight away and then put it to one side. Looked again after about 5 mins and there was a definite (but very faint) line, I nearly died!

Gonna test again in the morning but am skint til Monday when my student loan comes in so can't get a clearblue or anything til then . AF might arrive before then anyway. I'm feeling so sick today and have heartburn which I usually only get when pregnant or after a curry

Guess I'm in good old limboland - aint it fab!

HeinzSight · 15/01/2009 21:07

how exciting KatB, keep fingers crossed for your test tomorrow x

theboob · 15/01/2009 21:13

ooohh fingers crossed for you katb
but if you can see it it must be

rainbowdays · 15/01/2009 21:52

KatB - that is great news on your FaintBFP, I am of course jealous but hey maybe I still have a chance too? Will eagerly come on here tomorrow to get the update from you.

mrsdisorganised · 15/01/2009 22:54

Fingers crossed Kat xxx

KatB · 16/01/2009 08:47

Hmmm did ebay cheapie this morning and BFN.

AF not due til tomorrow, I'll see how things go. It's only been a month since the mc so not even sure cycles are back to normal, think I'm expecting too much since I'm one of those annoying people who gets pregnant just looking at DH .

Last month got pregnant on the pill, first DC conceived on the pill. Second using withdrawal (stupid method anyway) and third did it once at the wrong/right time.

Think TTC will be the best contraceptive of all haha.

xxx

rainbowdays · 16/01/2009 09:07

KatB - So sorry, I can empathise with you though. This morning got an evaporation line with the ebay tests. But don't lose hope, your wee might have been more diluted today than when you tested yesterday, you drank too much last night

I only have 4 more ebay cheap tests left, so need to know soon! But might purchase more internet cheapies anyway today, as even if I am preggers I will need to test more over the coming weeks to reassure myself! And if I am not preggers will need some for next cycle anyway.

I have been using fertility friend website, and looking at it I think I might not have ovulated when I normally do (this would tie in with the weird af too), but I might have ov'd later, and might only be 11dpo with an LP of 12, hence why I now think, I not be due af til tomorrow. I also have been taking temps for the last 5 days, my temp suddenly went up today, so now going crazying thinking "tri-phasic" and such like. So I have gone from thinking that it is not possible, to thinking of all the if's and when's .... argggg!!!!! But it is cd32 and BFN (evaporation lines don't count!)

Deige hope you are looking fabulous having got roots done.

MrsD - hope you have fun having dh come home tonight!

hi to everyone else!

KatB · 16/01/2009 09:21

Hi Rainbow,

Thanks, it's horrible isn't it! Think it must have been an evap line yesterday - getting cramping today so expecting AF to arrive soon but I also get cramping when I'm preggers so am madly clutching at straws!!

Still, an October baby would be lovely. .

mrsdisorganised · 16/01/2009 10:20

Hang in there Kat!
DH came home early last night so very happy he's actually here at the 'right' time.......
Rainbow I really hope you get your answer soon, you must be going mad! I would
