Hello all!
Still waiting for Af, but actually feeling too stupidly nervous to test so will wait a couple more days..... also hope no one in RL will find out...
Hope everyone is ok. Rainbowdays broadband is great Fingers crossed for a New Year BFP for you!...and everyone else too!
Had sinusitus since xmas...and now our pipes have burst in the laundry room and the washing machine is dead!!! 4 kids, husband and no washing machine not a good combination bad enough without a dryer... can't seem to get a engineer yet either oh the fun! sorry girls rant over!!

Nemostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 30/12/2008 13:14

arghh days like today make me wonder why I thought no.4 would eb a good idea..lol

Rainbowdays great news on the broadband

misdisorganised hope you get your BFP

babyblue3 · 30/12/2008 13:36

MrsD - sounds like a mess! If I don't do laundry every day, I end up with 15 loads at the end of the week (thats what I just went through since I was too sick and tired this past week to accomplish anything). My DH laughs and reminds me that I wanted a 4th! Haha... little does he know that I will be pushing for a housekeeper once this baby comes and I go back to work! Ha! Anyway... keeping my fingers crossed that you will get your BFP!

Rainbow - congrats on the broadband... what a difference it will make!

Any plans for New Years Eve?? DH works til 8pm, so I think I will curl up in my bed with a book and hope that the DC can keep busy without any bloodshed!

mrsdisorganised · 31/12/2008 11:23

Well Af sneaked up on me in the night so onto another month of ttc, never mind.

Washing pile is ridiculous but am taking lots to MIL tomorrow to do whilst we're having dinner and she has a dryer!!
[waves to everyone]

theboob · 31/12/2008 12:22

hope everyone has a good night and not to many hangover tomorrow

good luck foe 2009 BFP'S

RuDiegetheRedNosedReinDiege · 31/12/2008 13:10

Hello! Bad luck on af MRSDIS . I'm sure that the new year brings that bfp
BABYBLUE, I am with you on the 'comments'; not had a congratulations off family, in fact it's as if I'm not pregnant at all Not sure if that's worse than neg comments (probably not). Agree about washing nightmares...I never get to the bottom of the pile, the upstairs landing looks like a laundry, and the ironed stuff stays in baskets for so long it comes out creased again . I have even been known to take a deep breath and just throw out stuff at the bottom of the laundry that I haven't seen for years!!
Hello to the newbies; we've got a great thread going here! Still being sick here, on and off, which is a surprise after it ending 12 weeks or so with dds, but certainly not as bad so figure it took a long time to peak, so will take a long time to disappear! Have been feeling flutters quite regularly now, which is reassuring, as was worried after the meningitus, but baby seems happy enough!
Hope everyone has a good NYE. I just see it as another day/night really, so will be in with TV I think! See you next year!

rainbowdays · 31/12/2008 23:13

Happy New Year everyone - Well it will be in another hour, but I don't suppose I will be awake then.

I am having fun with having wireless broadband now, it is so good. I really should be trying to get some sleep now, but mn keeps calling to me! My 8 month old ds is having trouble sleeping at the moment as he is not well. Keeps choking in his sleep and scaring me, but goes back to sleep quickly after a cuddle. This does not bode well for encouraging sleeping through the night, as we are curently going to see him about 8 times each night. I am very tired.

MrsD - sorry to hear af got you, but 2009 is a good year to get all our bfp's.

Diege - wow, good to hear that you are getting reassuring flutters already.

babyblue - had to laugh at your housekeeper idea, I hope you will break the news to your dh gently!!!

theboob and kitty - welcome to you both. Let us hope that we all get our 4th's this year of 2009.

ok time for me to get some sleep before dc3 wakes coughing again.

theboob · 01/01/2009 00:17

happy new year to you all and all the 2009 BFP's and babies

i'm off now to attack DH

baby dust to you all

rainbowdays · 01/01/2009 10:26

happy new year!
lets hope we all get big tummies for 2009!

HeinzSight · 01/01/2009 12:46

Happy New Year everyone

Sorry to hear about AF arriving MrsD

Hope everyone else is well and happy x x

babyblue3 · 01/01/2009 15:51

Good Morning and Happy New year Ladies! I had a bit of a rough go for New Years eve day. I spent 4.5 hours in the hospital emergency because I started to cramp and spot a little. Even though it was only slight, after that m/c a few months ago I am so jumpy! Anyway, the only good that came of it, was that I was able to see my little bean and a healthy heartbeat for the first time. The baby measured right on for its age too. I was bawling like a baby! LOL.. DH was pretty happy too. It looks like I have a small bleed between my placenta and the uterine wall (subchorionic hematoma). Doc said its tiny and nothing to worry about. Hopefully it will heal itself. I bled heavily with my last 2 babies and was hoping not to repeat the experience.

Anyway... best wishes to all in 2009!

HeinzSight · 01/01/2009 17:59

sorry to hear you had a scare babyblue, thank goodness for scans eh!

mrsdisorganised · 01/01/2009 21:48

Hello! Happy new Year!!

Thanks everyone for your comments! Going to send lots of positive thoughts out over this thread!

Babyblue hope you're ok, lovely seeing the scan always makes me cry (I'm an emotional headcase anyway! Try and relax, hard I realise, and enjoy your pregnancy x

Lol Theboob keep up the good work!

Diege how exciting to be feeling the little life!!!

Hope everyone had a good New Year...we just snuggled up next to the fire, haven't been feeling like drinking at all for a long time so it was hot choc instead!

Good luck and bring on the BFPs for 2009!!!

scorpio1 · 02/01/2009 11:40

cd1 y'day. lovely start, huh?

scorpio1 · 02/01/2009 11:49

babyblue - i had that with dc3; all fine outcome

RuDiegetheRedNosedReinDiege · 02/01/2009 11:54

Sorry about af SCORPIO It will be out of the way before you know it though, so fingers crossed for next cycle.
BABYBLUE that does sound scary - you must be very relieved. Glad all is well; how are you bearing up on the sickness front?
Hot choc sounds great MRSDIS Yes, here's to a happy, healthy, and positive 2099 for us all .
The house of the sick again here (though not me this time, yah!!!)Poor dd1 has been sick since xmas eve with sore throat/ears etc; haven't taken to drs as yet, but thinking if it's not got by next week may need to make an appointment. DH back today too, so all hands to the deck. Not back myself till Tues; will be odd to go back to work after nearly 8 weeks off!

sweetkitty · 02/01/2009 12:02

babyblue - poor you am glad the LO is fine though, may that be the last scare you have, healthy uneventful pregnancy for you now

scorpio - sorry AF has got you

Still unsure about ttc#4 here, periods still not back am EBFing DD3 who is 5 1/2 months so plenty time.

Would need bigger car, bigger house and DP to keep his job plus I am so harassed with 3 of them as it is. DD1 does go to school in August, DD2 the year after though.

When I was pregnant with DD3 I said that was it no more but now.................. am I insane?

Lovely to lurk on here with people who feel the same

theboob · 02/01/2009 20:42

sweetkitty had all the same feelings myself but balls to it,i'll regret it if i dont give in to the voices

i have the room,i walk everywhere anyway and i dont like odd numbers

well still keeping up with BD everyday, but im not to sure when my AF would be due, normally i just wait about 2 weeks after AF finished and test like a maniac until i got a BFP or AF

would someone please tell me when on my cycle i should do all of this,as i costs a fortune in test

thankyou xxxx

babyblue3 · 02/01/2009 22:23

Diege - glad to hear you are feeling better. It must have been scary to have meningitis! How far along are you now? I can't wait til I can feel the flutters on a daily basis. I am just happy right now to stare at the scan photo glued to my refrigerator!

Kitty - I still feel nervous sometimes about having a fourth. I always said 3 was my limit, but became broody soon after DD2 was born! I too will need a bigger car. And eventually we will need to do some home renovations to make room for the baby (I love my house too much to move!). I am fortunate in the sense that 2 of my DC are already in school, so I will only have 2 at home. Not that that doesn't scare me a bit... its been a while since I have had 2 babies with me at home! Hopefully it all comes back to me and I don't end up with too many more white hairs!

Theboob - must be an awfully expensive habit you have there... POAS I mean!!!! LOL... have you tried to order the sticks on line? I'm not sure if there are any local companies for you, I got mine from the US and they were good and best of all CHEAP (just took about 3 weeks to ship to Canada)! You can even get the OPK's on line for a good price if you use them. Other than that, you could always wait until CD28 to start testing??

Scorpio & MrsD - its a fresh year.. time to boost the efforts!! ;)

scorpio1 · 02/01/2009 22:58

i dont think i could have more sex if i tried!!

RuDiegetheRedNosedReinDiege · 03/01/2009 11:34

SCORPIO. It's feast or famine here too (though sadly for dh at least to say we are going through a famine at the momnent is an understatement .
THEBOOB, snap here with odd numbers . No.3 was meant to be our last, but as dd3 got older the age gap between the older two and her became more apparent, and some mad impulse in me thought how nice it would be for her to have the same sort of closeness the older 2 have (no guanrantees of course!)At least she will have a buddy when the older two are playing their spying games on her as they were this morning, running up and sticking things on her jumper then disappearing, while she was searching for them shouting 'big gals, where are you big gals???'
BABYBLUE, yes much better now thanks! Today is the first day that I haven't actually felt nauseaus on waking too, and my temp deafness in right ear from the meningitus seems to be correcting itself too. Just in time for work on Tuesday! . Will be very odd to go back, and I do feel nervous about everyone seeing I'm pregnant (bump will be hard, though not impossible to hide, although the beady eyes of 90 students will suss me out I'm sure . It will be lovely for you to have 2 little ones at home - I am wimping out and keeping dd3 in nursery I think while on maternity leave, though we have Fridays at home together anyway.
SWEETKITTY, no you are not insane . I've never known no.4 to tip people into insanity anyway; I think if you have 3 anyway, 4 can't be that more to deal with?? . I still say going from zero to one was the biggest shock!
Hope everyone is well if knackered - not long till schools are back!!!

HeinzSight · 03/01/2009 13:02

Hi everyone,

help me again ladies, am feeling really down again, please tell me how great this is all going to be!!

RuDiegetheRedNosedReinDiege · 03/01/2009 16:38

Heinz you will be fine!!! No.4 will slot in brilliantly and you have so much to look forward to. FWIW (picking up on your other threads) I've had antenatal and post-natal depression, the former with dd1, the latter dd2 and I know what a dark place it can take you to. We are all here for you though, and I'm sure a lot of what you're going through has been experienced either by someone on this thread or by the wider mn comunity. Take care, and feel free to get it all out on here xxx

Nemoandthefishes · 03/01/2009 16:40

SK not mad at all....plus when one goes to school its quite sad and quiet without them...

Heinz it will be great, understand the panic as do keep wondering what I am doing especially as time seems to be flying past!!

Deige how are you feeling??

I am ok but absolutely shattered as everyone has been ill the last couple of days

HeinzSight · 03/01/2009 17:50
