I guess with the holidays almost here, we will all be busy with our families... Hope all your Christmas's are filled with many blessings!

rainbowdays · 21/12/2008 16:40

Just a very quick message as am with my family for christmas time, af arrived on the same day as mastitus hit with full force. Doctor wanted to send me to hospital but I said no and now feeling slightly better with strong oral antibiotics.

Doubt I will get more time online before christmas so just in case I don't i wish you all fun filled christmases.

RubysTheBoss · 22/12/2008 08:51

Hello girls,

Expect we have all been busy, wot with at least 3 kids, and christmas fast approaching.

Wishing you all a fantastic christmas, and may there be a whole 'Bunch of Carrots' in 2009.

xxxxx

RuDiegetheRedNosedReinDiege · 22/12/2008 09:15

Just wanted to pop in and say hello - just got out of hospital on Thursday after a weeki in with viral meningitus, so slowly recovering. At least sickness is fading... RAINBOW - hope you are feeling better too - that sounds horrendously painful .
Here's to a happy and carrot-filled 2009 for us all

scorpio1 · 24/12/2008 16:42

Merry xmas everybody

I do check here often. cd27 today....

mrsdisorganised · 24/12/2008 17:25

Merry Christmas Ladies!!! Enjoy and good luck with all that babymaking..... Waiting for Af to arrive...due on tomorrow of all days!!!

rainbowdays · 26/12/2008 18:56

Hope everyone had a great christmas day.
I got all the wrong presents for the wrong children!!!! Oh well, at least they are sharing together!

Scorpio and mrsd - heres hoping that af does not arrive for either of you and that we have more carrots for the new year.

Well my af has been long and heavy, I am certain it was an early miscarriage or chemical pregnancy, with very very faint tests. But now looking forward to starting for a september baby.

hows everyone else?

mrsdisorganised · 26/12/2008 19:02

Thanks Rainbowdays! Still waiting but honestly don't think there's much of a chance as dh was away during the most crucial time, got back the day after I though I'd ov'd although there was still a positive line on the opk stick??! Sorry to hear that you body isn't co-operating been there and it gets so frustrating! Positive thoughts for you for the New year

Hi everone else [big waves!!!!]

Nemostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 26/12/2008 19:28

hi all
hope you had a good christmas
I posted on here ages ago but with chaos of the trio and being ill all the time with no.4 I havent been back on. I can see there are a few now who are pg with no.4 which isa fantastic..we can all be loopy together.
I am 14+6 today and cant believe how quickly things seem to be going this time next year at christmas will have a just 6yr olf,.just 4 a week of being 3 and a 6mths old...soo excited I cant wait

babyblue3 · 28/12/2008 01:23

Hello All Well, my Christmas was quite tiring and I was only able to eat a small bite of Christmas dinner... which was torture! Watching everyone else stuff themselves and only being able to taste a wee bit! Oh well... at least I can report that the nausea is definitely getting better. We also told our families this week, which is a great relief. Now I can be sick out in the open!! LOL... they were all VERY surprised!
Rainbow and MrsD - hope this year works in your favour!
Nemo - how are you feeling?

theboob · 29/12/2008 11:21

hi all can i please join your thread

TTC number 4 in secret from family and friends as i cant face the looks i'm going to get from them

dh auntie stopped buying xmas presents after the birth of dc3 as she said we had to many so when dc4 arrives it will be birthdays next lol!

i have ds1 8, dd 6, and ds2 22months
i'm currently cd5 cycle 1

scorpio1 · 29/12/2008 11:59

hi theboob

we are ttc secretly too. its no-ones business. We wil ltell when i physically cannot get away with it longer...and i may not announce on here either, as people in RL know i mn.

cd32 here today.

theboob · 29/12/2008 12:16

already had a row with my best friend because she thinks i should be happy with the kids i have and said she will not love another baby as she thinks i'm stupid

so i decided that i will keep it all a secret and just pretend it's failed contraception until it's born then spill ,as my plan is nobody will care then

have been hiding my arm as you can see where i have had my implany removed, but had an alergic reaction to the plaster and my arm is a right mess now so i will be hiding it for a while

scorpio1 · 29/12/2008 12:17

i never get peoples reactions to baby news....its hardly them who will be pg, bf, up in the night, paying for them.....we had bad enough reactions last time. Dd is still only 8 months, so im hoping for a short age gap. Here's to even more comments

theboob · 29/12/2008 12:21

i could have hit some people if they said AGAIN to me last time!!!!!
god knows what they will say this time

merrykittymas · 29/12/2008 12:37

I'm always lurking on this thread after DD3 I said never again I hate being pregnant but I love having babies and children.

It's nice to be with people who have similar feelings as you do, I thought we were done at no3 now I'm not so sure I am as broody as hell and DD3 is only 5 months

IF I do get pregnant again I will tell people of course it was planned and wait for the backlash, it's no one else business how many children you have, theya re not the ones getting up in the night or feeding and clothing them therefore they cannot comment!

Why should you feel ashamed to bering another very wanted and loved child into the world?

Comments - bring them on? I had quite a few last time as well, maybe we should start a comments and smart replies thread.

babyblue3 · 29/12/2008 13:12

Welcome Merry and theboob

I know exactly what you are going through! I went back to work after my maternity leave already pregnant with #4! you can imagine the rude comments I got! People I barely speak to asking if it was a "mistake" or "accident"! Others laughed or looked at me like I was crazy. They all thought I was nuts when I was pg with my last. Considering they nor the state are supporting me, they should all keep quiet!

The worst is when family are unsupportive. We just told our parents over Christmas that we are expecting again. They took it well for the most part. But do you think I have heard anything from extended family in terms of congratulations or anything. In this day and age when most of my family is on Facebook, not one has bothered to message me. Yet, when they all need favours, I am the first to get a call!

Sorry... I REALLY needed to vent!! LOL

Hopefully this new year finds us all well.... with a big bunch of carrots to brag about!

merrykittymas · 29/12/2008 13:48

babyblue - poor you a new baby should be exciting and celebrted whether they are number 1 or 6

The worst one I had was from my Mum when I was having a mc she told me "maybe it would be for the best if I lost it" and "no one has big families these days but I suppose you could have another try to get a boy" WTF with family like that who needs enemies.

I think people who make those sort of comments are secretly jealous i.e. they wanted more DC but for one reason or anotehr didn't have any more, shows major insecurities having to make comments on somehow else having a baby/

HeinzSight · 29/12/2008 13:55

what horrid comments some people make I've only told my family and a few close friends. I told DH's sister on Boxing Day and she said she thinks it's fantastic, 'how great to have four kids running about'

On the whole I've been v fortunate so far with people's reactions.

Can't help but admit to being nervous about any future negative comments questions.

HeinzSight · 29/12/2008 13:56

mrsdisorganised.... any news?/

rainbowdays · 30/12/2008 12:24
