More welcomes-this is fab having so many ladeezs.

Have got to collect DD1 from school then take her dancing but want to watch Roger Federer play-should think he will have blitzed the other player by the time I get back at 5-30pm.

Bye for now.

ceebee - haha yes I remember being just about to go on mat leave that July, it was terrible in a non air-con office (which incidentally is still non air-con).

I have given up talking to dh about buggies. Prob is I now know too much so they are all either too wide, too heavy, handles too low (I am tall), too expensive or all 4! I also have added difficulty of steps up to my house and steps up to my front door (a lot of them) so I am f**ked. Bought a Quinny for ds but it was majorly heavy so got Maclaren but handles too low, bought better Maclaren and love it and now can't bear to go back to bad buggies!

Hi again to everyone else, weekend almost here!

sparkletoes · 27/06/2008 15:26

Baileymist - honestly I think there must be something in it, take my scenarios:

ds1 - trying for best part of year, crying into my knickers at end of every month, decide to try and chill out, bingo 2 months later pregnant.

dc2 - think f**k it all, ovulation sticks not even considered and get pregnant first month of trying (think I just hung my coat over dh's and it happened!).

Obv I don't have PCOS or anything but I have had other gynae issues and I think that just relaxing a bit about the whole thing must help... Or as in 2nd case EXPECT nothing to happen! Sorry if this all sounds a bit glib it isn't meant to be.

I know it is asking the impossible of yourself, honestly I do. For me the getting to the depressed side probably helped in a way as I decided that was enough... It was taking over my life and was not healthy so I started drinking the occasional glass of wine/cup of coffee/other forbidden fruits of the TTC and tried to forget about it. Even when period was late I left it for over a week to do a test for fear it would be another false alarm. Convinced myself I wasn't then... pink lines appeared on both boxes of the stick for the first time and I almost fainted.

chestercat · 27/06/2008 15:55

30 mins for me left then the weekend has landed.
Wont be able to MN over the weekend so will catch up next week - it's CD13 for mean so a busy weekend for me
Hope everyone has a good weekend

Just relax and get bonking, all weekend, don't think about lutenising hormones and best time to conceive etc, just see it as good old fashioned practise. It probably WON'T happen this month (or will it...)

ChocolateEclair · 27/06/2008 16:30

oooo hello all you lovely new people! Not sure if I can possibly attempt to reply to all the millions of posts today! Woo hoo - it's Friday!!!!! And we are going away for the weekend (early tomorrow). Had a MUCH better day at work and didin't feel like resigning! LOL!

Wow!! I have always wanted to be on the Discussions of the Day - I feel quite proud for all of us now

That does explain all the newbies today who are, of course, most welcome!!

Wellies - where are you?? We need an update!!

Well, I have finished work now until a week on Tuesday - woohoo! A whole week off to please myself and watch Wimbledon - heaven!!!

Cor-am so chuffed. Discussions of the day! ]

Am stuffed after eating sausage rolls, pork pie, mini sausages, mini scotch eggs, cheese & pickle sarnies and egg & chive sarnies, crips, ice cream and a lovely sponge cake made by my mum. Had a bit of trouble with DD1-jealousy methinks which is quite natural.

I too am going for the reverse psycho thing. I do not want to be PG this month.

MJIM-have a super time.

chestercat-have a bonk fun filled weekend and we'll see you on Monday.

Wellies-you need to report back every hour.

ceebee-I was right about Roger Federer blitzing the other player. Enjoy your break from work.

Everyone else-have a great weekend. Off to cut out the stickers to put on the playhouse.

MJIM I hope he sleeps well. I found the sleep thing a complete mare, I was glad when the nap thing was done and just have bedtime. I do love it when they chat in bed, DB lies in bed in the morning chatting and singing, I love as long it after 6.30!

Have a good weekend everyone, Wellies where are you, should I be guessing good things and you are way too busy to be on MN!

S x

HumphreysCorner · 27/06/2008 21:24

Yep, not a sound has come from them tonight and another busy day tomorrow. You ought to see the bags under DD1's eyes-bless.

Hi soosy-good luck with the viewings.
