MJIM I would be annoyed by the entry too. So what if he did not want to play the ice-cream game. Still, I suppose it is sensible to follow the others' advice and see how it pans out. I ended up moving my DD when I was unhappy with her nursery when she was about to turn two; if things do not improve I am sure there would be other options.

Soosy the scar will make him look more manly and mysterious in years to come

Juanitad lovely names. Hannah would have been one of our choices too but now DD has a friend of that name I don't feel as inclined to have it if we were to have a girl. I really like Charlotte/Lottie too HC. In our case the only suggestion I have so far from DH is Herby. I refuse to allow my son to be called Herbert.

CE I would hate to be 14 again. yuck. Good luck with getting back on the bandwagon. I got pregnant straight after my very very early miscarriage.

Good luck holding out Wellies

MJIM I LOVE it when you see them move in the bath!

Soosy - poor DS! But MJIM is right that they don't seem to scar like we do so it may be alright. DS has a chipped front tooth which he did within weeks of getting his tooth - I was devastated at the time but now I don't even notice it (plus I realise that is slightly different as he will get a new tooth at some point!)

MJIM - I wouldn't pay too much attention to what is written in the books tbh. I have had occasions where I have picked DS up and they have said he has been great all day etc then when I read his book at home they have put things in about him being 'a bit teary' etc so I always take it with a pinch of salt! Sounds like your DS knows his own mind which is not a bad thing is it?

Wellies - when is your AF due? I think you only qualify for a [proud emoticon] from MJIM if you manage to restrain from testing for a week after your AF is due - so far MJIM is the only person who has actually managed that

CE - I am glad you are back on the bandwagon and surely your DH will need his tea to give him the required energy

Hi to everyone else

My car passed it's MOT - yeah! It didn't cost too much either as it was a works garage that did it so I got 10% discount anyway plus they didn't have to do too much to it to get it to pass. So frustrating as one of my jobs next week whilst off work is to hopefully buy a new 5-door car and part-exchange this one so I really didn't want to spend any money on it...grrr!

MJIM - your DH has a 2-year old sister???? Wow!!! So does that mean your DS's aunty is younger than him?? A bit mind-boggling if you don't mind me saying!

Have to also say the name Charlotte is lovely but I am extremely biased on that front but have to say only Dh is allowed to call me Lottie!

CE - I fear I might have to call the wedding off as when I dropped DS off at nursery this morning, him and one of his best friends (a boy) started to engage in a lot of hugging and kissing on the lips

MJIM I have a niece who is eighteen months younger than me. She is a year older than my sister. It is always a little complicated to explain to people!

Ceebee-you should move to Brighton. That sort of behaviour is de rigour here!

Evening ladeez

Still got my migraine and went to buy my usual tablets and Tescos looked at me gone out-never heard of them apparently. I've only been buying them there for the past 2 years! Have dug out the box from the recycling bin and will take it in to show them. GGRRRHH!!! Have some replacement tablets that are not working.

soosy-poor DS, bless.

MJIM-agree to take the report with a pinch of salt and your PG hormones won't help. Don't blame him wanting to play his own games.

Wellies-you are so good not testing. Have already been looking on Ebay for more tests and I still have 4 left.

ceebee-that is a relief about the MOT. Troy is due his first MOT in September.

ChocEclair-enjoy!

Am getting ready to go up to bed and watch BB and take more tablets. Waves to everyone else.

morning Baileymist. DH has taken DD to school so I have about 15mins before he needs the computer.

Can't think of any news though I am afraid but thought I would say hello.

Just had a read of the childbirth thread on the homepage which made me smile-some good home truths on there.

Did watch BB and want that horrid Sylvia to get booted out.

Morning Ladies

Well have got a date from gp to have coil removed - it's all go from next Tues

HC - hope your migraine goes soon (and enjoy your complaining at Tesco's - it'll make you feel better )

BM - good luck with the 'every other day' approach! I've been thinking about getting a thermometer, might have a look on ebay now!!

MJIM - thanks for the welcome! Exciting times for you by the sound of it - can't wait to be thinking about names again - Naomi is lovely btw.

Right, have to go to work - have a great day [smile}

Hi all!

Sorry I still haven't caught up. I am mega busy. This week is my last week of 'work' so I really need to clear out all my files!

I passed my OFSTED inspection - I have been registered for 6 children in total so am really pleased.

MJIM- I read your post. Ignore the report. What the hell are 'happy hands' anyway???? I hate 'teacher speak' - at Will's nursery they use terms such as 'happy words' and 'sad words'. IMO if you are being rude you should be told straight! LOL! I would personally be very proud of any testosterone filled lad who obviously thought it poncy to dance and sing!

Just a quickie for all those who may be interested - Tshibo have the trip trap style wooden highchairs for £35 available on-line at the moment. We have two and they're great. They go really quickly though.

Hi to all - I will have to try and catch up next week when I have more time!!!!

Detoxdiva - good luck for Tuesday. Had mine removed back in February (although with DH away have only started TTC this month) and it was a piece of cake. A little tug and it's out.

Willmouse - well done on the inspection! Glad you are pleased.

Hello to everyone else.

AF due today... and based on how I feel, I think she will make an unwelcome visit later

Wellies-hope AF doesn't show her ugly face.

ruddynorah-any news?

DH just phoned to say he has bought a box of my Solpadeine Migraine-twas the last box though. Will try Boots next week. Im sure/hoping I will be hunky dory tomorrow for DD2's 2nd B'Day.

Just started raining-hope it clears off by Saturday. Having a cuppa before I collect DD1 from school. Ironing is calling too.

Love to all
