Hi guys
Here is the lovely new thread. Maybe we might get some newbies as well?!?!?

CE - hi! Bfn on Friday (cd 32). I know it could have been early but I just feel like af is on the way . Didn't expect anything to happen this month, but it's still when you see that -ive isn't it??

Enjoy your relaxing day in the lead up to end of term !

ChocolateEclair · 13/07/2008 12:41

but yes, the -ve is not nice. I drove myself mad with this the first 3 months of ttc. Maybe Tuesday would be a good benchmark testing date??

Have been doing lots of cleaning - bathrooms, kitchen and lounge. Preparing for my Bodyshop party on Thursday! (my house isn't normally this clean!) so feeling super virtous! DP is mowing lawns he he!

hello everyone, I am tentatively joining here

Mandy73 · 13/07/2008 15:15

CE so happy you OVed. Keeping everything crossed for you. Well done for cleaning, we have dinner guests tonight so need to do some of that myself!

Majormoo sounds like an abolutely gorgeous Saturday . So sorry to hear about what?s happened to your antenatal buddies. Life can be horrible and unfair.

MJIM v impressed with you sorting so much out. It all sounds lovely.

Oh Detoxdiva, I feel for you, those are dreadful days just waiting, and then along comes a couple of BFNs to knock you further... Hope you manage to stay positive & look forward to next cycle.

Welcome mrsleroyjethrogibbs! Just kick your shoes off and feel like home.

Waves to everyone else. Hope you?re enjoying the w/e. xx

DH was up early getting pregnancy info from the mothercare site ? he already knows more than me . I freaked out slightly over brown spotting & loads of CM today but I reckon it?s the implantation 'stuff' that?s worked its way out ? v crampy since 5 dpo. Took my CB digital ?cos I?m still in disbelief. Got BFP in 15 seconds, much like the CB normal on Friday. DH says that can be a sign of twins . Whacked and pelvis v sore (BD fest related probably) but v, v happy.

ChocolateEclair · 13/07/2008 16:02

mandy - pmsl at your dh knowing more than you! I find that hard to believe as you always seem to be so full of good advice, and between you and dawn we have every sperm, egg, CM, symptom related question covered!

mrsleroyjethrogibbs! Great name and WELCOME to Bonkers! Hope you are as nutty as we all are, and are suitably excited about ttc! Is this your first child?

bluestarlavender · 13/07/2008 16:07

Afternoon everyone!

Glad to see Mandy, you and DH are still flying high!!

CE - it's great news about the OV! Fingers crossed now for the BFP

DD - I have my fingers crossed for you too!! No AF has to be a good thing and maybe the test was too early.

Hi to Mrsleroyjethrogibbs! Glad you're joining us...

Big wave to everyone else!!

Not sure whether I'm reading too much into it, but I've got weird aches going on around my ovaries...it's a bit different to my ovary aches. Was also feeling totally weird today, like really really shaky. I have suffered from low blood sugar in the past, but got this while eating lunch and felt very shaky for about an hour afterwards. DH says I shouldn't read anything into it...but it's really hard not to when you're trying to listen out for anything odd going on with your body. Oh well, I guess I'll have to wait and see what the next days bring.

BSL x

mrsleroyjethrogibbs · 13/07/2008 16:16

thanks for the lovely welcome ladies. Actually this would be no.3 if it happens. We are at the 'lets practice lots' before it happens stage so there is no hurry here
lovely to meet you all

DawnAS · 13/07/2008 16:51

Hey all,

Hope all you guys have had a good weekend!!

And winning the award for No.1 Symptom Spotter is me!!!

But seriously, I need some advice guys.

So, usually 35 day cycle and was OVing middle of last week. CM was as it has been described it should be, accompanied by mild cramping. However, I went to the loo about 30 mins ago and there is some CM which is brown/reddy blood stained. I sometimes start to get this about 2-3 days before AF but I've got a week and four days to go until AF!! A bit worried, anyone have any suggestions?! No other real symptoms other than a pain in my boobs when I bend forwards.

Anyway, totally confused!!

bluestarlavender · 13/07/2008 16:58

Hi Dawn

Could it be an implantation bleed?? I have no idea, cos I've never had one, but from other threads and descriptions...it kinda sounds like that.

We're awful!! I know I'm going to be a complete nightmare now for the next week and a half!

BSL x

DawnAS · 13/07/2008 17:02

Aren't we?!

Do you think we should start a DH/DP Support Group - let's face, they're going to need it!!

I don't know how long implantation bleeds last for, but just been to the loo again and nothing there?! Very odd... Feels like there's something there though, do you know what I mean?!

Well, I'm looking on the bright side that if it's not that I'm PG, maybe my cycle has decided to change to a 28 day instead of 35, that'll only be a good thing because it means that there's less time to wait each month!!

xxx

bluestarlavender · 13/07/2008 18:13

I think DH/DP support groups are very necessary!!

But I do know what you mean...we've obviously going to superconscious of every weird thing that happens to our bodies. I have definitely got strange cramping going on. It's not like AF cramps, just dull aching across my ovaries and sometimes more towards the left. I'm also getting weird little tingles...but am so obsessed with symptom spotting and also not reading too much into it all, that I have no idea whether any of it's real or imaginary anymore...

detoxdiva · 13/07/2008 19:37

Evening all

Thanks for everyone's kind words - I am keeping positive and looking forward to next month

BSL - fingers crossed for the 2ww

Dawn - sorry no advice..hopefully implantation bleed . At least if AF you can start trying again sooner

Welcome mrsleroyjethrogibbs!!

ChocolateEclair · 13/07/2008 19:41

Well to add my twopenneth worth, I reckon that sounds suspiciously like an implantation bleed Dawn! It can happen 5-10 days post ovulation and lasts less than 1 day. Does that sound about right? I think ceebee had this when she got pg. We can ask her if she comes on later!

I am 4dpo and got stitch near left ovary - how odd. Am also tired but that's just the time of year!

It's totally normal to feel all these weird symptoms when ttc! (I'm sure they're not all imaginary!)

OP posts:
ceebee74 · 13/07/2008 20:12

Evening ladies

Am absolutely shattered as I have not stopped since getting up at 7 this morning! DS's party was fantastic this morning - he loved having all his friends there and definitely had the time of his life. Then we came home, opened all his presents (even though it is not his birthday until tomorrow but we won't have time then plus his cousins were here to help!) and had a buffet here for grandparents etc. Every single present, apart from 1, was Thomas related - aaagh!! I feel like I am living on the Island of Sodor!! And it is Thomasland tomorrow - DS is going to be SO excited!!

Anyway, onto the subject of the thread - TTC - Dawn, CE was correct that I had an implantation bleed. It was about 9dpo and (TMI alert) it came out after me and DH had 'done the deed' so it was mixed with sperm so difficult to know exactly what it was like! It was quite mucousy, red, not much of it and was just one bleed - I literally didn't bleed again! Hope this helps but the way you have described yours sounds promising

Right, better put DS to bed - tis way past his bedtime!!

Morning everyone!

I hope everyone had a great weekend and is all nice and refreshed for Monday morning!

HC - glad to see you safely home...despite the "fun" weekend.

I've still got strange cramps this morning, but am determined not to read too much into it.

Morning ladies

Mandy-all OK there?

detox-how are you today?

Dawn-so hope it is implantation. Everything crossed for you. Any more 'signs' I have chronic diarrhea, cramping, nausea and the occasional bleeding gums. I'll see if I can find any more by the end of the day. Oh, and my temp has nosedived today so may be an implantation dip.

ceebee-good luok for Wednesday.

ally-have you tested today?

bluestarlavender-keep on symptom spotting, passes the time nicely.

mrsleroyjethrogibbs-hello and welcome and good luck on TTC No3. I myself am doing the very same-have 2 DD's.

ChocElair-how's it going? You must have OV'd by now.

willmouse-calling willmouse. Where are you ? Seriously, we miss you lots.

juanitad-when is your scan? Have skimmed posts but can't find it or have you had it and I am suffering from amnesia.

chestercat-did you test?

Bellie-has the gunge stopped?

MJIM-enjoy your shopping today.

Hi to Flirty, daisyj, majormoo, belgianbun and anyone I may have forgotten. Have a mountain of washing so had better attempt that.

Love to all

Hi HC,

I'm not convinced it's an Implantation bleed to be honest. Think it my be just very early AF. Just wondering whether anyone else has had AF symptoms but strangely early that turn out to be PG symptoms?!!

So, details....

Yesterday late afternoon I had some runny CM (Sorry TMI) that was stained brown/browny red.

Today, not so much CM as brown blood. Wear panty-liners all the time anyway, but don't need anything thicker. However, cramping sort of like AF cramping but not as painful, sometimes more on one side than the ever, the same side actually that the OV pain seemed to be a week or so ago.

So, currently only about CD26 of a normal (for the last 3 months) 35 day cycle.

Last months' AF, 4 days stained CM, 2 days blood, 1 day stained CM. So if this is AF:-

a) - It's very early...
b) - Completely different to normal

Pain in left boob, moving up to underarm when I bend forwards, haven't really felt it before.

Also, abominal pains/cramps leading to Diaorrhea. However I do suffer from IBS so could be a link there.... Although, IBS has been a lot worse over the last week, hadn't really had it for a couple of months.

All very odd. No nausea though HC and not really feeling overly tired, no more than normal. Not sure when all the symptoms are supposed to kick in though.

Just one little additional thing to mention, I suffer with very active red blood cells in the vagina/uterus area. I used to think there was something wrong as used to bleed during BD, so had tests. Apparently completely harmless so assuming there may be some changes going on in that area if I was PG, for me, that could cause some blood. Although you'd think that would be red!!

Oh I don't know!!

HumphreysCorner · 14/07/2008 11:19

AF surprised me 3 days early last month. If you were temping this would give you a clue maybe. Don't know what to say apart from wait patiently. Would say that pre AF pains are exactly the same as pre PG pains so you never can tell which is which unfortunately. [wry]

bluestarlavender · 14/07/2008 11:22

Hi guys,

What would temping tell you...? if it stays high, does that indicate PG??

BSL x

DawnAS · 14/07/2008 11:23

Hey HC,

I need to ask a stupid question, what is temping. I've heard it referred to a lot on threads but don't know what it means - .

Have to drive to Uxbridge this afternoon for a meeing so taking tampons and stuff just in case....

xx

bluestarlavender · 14/07/2008 11:27

Temperature taking

HumphreysCorner · 14/07/2008 11:50

Dawn-yes, taking your temperature at the same time every morning then plotting it on a site such as Fertility Friend. I use it to find OV day then go psycho as my temps rise and fall after OV. They should stay high if PG or start to fall if AF imminent. Just been looking at the chart gallery on there and some of the temp dips have resulted in a BFP and some of the high temps have got AF visting so nothing is definite. My OV temps this cycle do not tie in with my +ive OPK so I have no idea if I am really on DPO 7 (FF's thoughts) or DPO 9 (my thoughts). Safe journey and hope you don't need the tampons.

DawnAS · 14/07/2008 11:53

Thanks HC, can you just use a normal thermometer? (That doesn't look like the right spelling - doh!!).

And do you get a better reading under the tongue or somewhere else?

xx

bluestarlavender · 14/07/2008 11:55

So, does that mean you feel warmer than normal if you are PG??
