Hello all,

so sorry that it has taken so long to get back - got out of the hospital at 5.15!! Had to wait ages for the scan, but I am really pleased that we have a bouncing bean in there (actually a very large bouncing bean as it is right at the top end of measurements for 10+4)

Then as everything was ok had my booking in appointment (which was planned for today anyway) which took ages and then they couldn't get any blood ...... anyway then got home put dd to bed and here I am as soon as I could.

welcome to Flirty - what an exciting day the first of ttc!! good luck to you.

bluestar - well done to your dh! Rising to the occasion

oh so many of you on the 2ww!! Getting excitied for you all.

Oh no, Chocolate Eclair, so jealous of the ice cream!! Been feeling sick all day with this gastric flu, but absolutely starving too and craving something sweet. Just told DH and he said "No ice cream."

DawnAS · 07/07/2008 20:44

Ahhhh Bellie, that's great news.

Hopefully you can have a good nights sleep now!!

xx

detoxdiva · 07/07/2008 20:46

Fab news Bellie x

majormoo · 07/07/2008 20:48

phew what a relief Bellie. glad all is OK

CE enjoy the ice cream

HumphreysCorner · 07/07/2008 21:10

Bellie-wow, that is such good news.

Baileymist-if you are PG your temp should remain high in the morning. When it drops drastically it means the witch is flying in. I only take my temp at the same time in the morning. Your temps sound heavenly.

Lost 4lb at WW so am pleased as I'm now under goal again.

Waves to everyone else.

Morning all

FF still can't pinpoint OV day and we sent some more troups in last night. That's 3 nights in a row and has never happened before. Anyway, asked DH if he was trying to create a netball team and he groaned as he thought we were still on the 'safe' days but I never stopped him. Naughty me.

Any news all others in the 2 WW?

Love to all, am off to make a gooseberry crumble. MIL sent me them but there is only me that likes them so hello weight gain again!

Morning!

Ceebee good luck with prepping the birthday party ? understand it?s stressful but sounds like good fun too.

Bluestar get well soon! Take it easy or recovery will just take longer.

Dawn keep us updated on the pre-seed will you? Interesting stuff.

Blimey Detoxdiva fingers crossed for you! How are you feeling? Any symptoms of any kind?

Bellie so happy for you! x

CE I?m happy you?re in good spirits. Ice cream... mmm...

Well done with WW HC!! Goosberry crumble... mmm...

MJIM Great to see you. Flap jacks... mmm...

Well I?m CD 24, probably 10 dpo, and bracing myself for the pink/brown CM that spells AF (expected CD28). Nothing so far. Trying very hard not to symptom obsess spot but so hard not to. Emotional wreck since 5 dpo with lots of unusual (I think ) cramping/twinges and yesterday & today felt queezy in the morning, like something stuck in my throat. All good strong symptoms of symptom obsessing rather than PG I?m sure! Have a great day all. x

Big hugs to you Mandy - it's so hard not to get obsessive isn't it??!!! I really don't know how I feel - no unusual symptoms at the moment, and I don't track my temp (yet - that might all change if nothing happens over the next couple of months!).

Well done with ww HC - I lurve goosberry crumble. Enjoy! Oh and 3 nights in a row - bet dh isn't complaining

Hi to everyone else (paranoid emoticon about missing people out!!)

HumphreysCorner · 08/07/2008 12:23

MJIM-I will be over the moon with girl or boy but have to admit that if I have a girl a small part of me will weep for the boy I will never have. Selfish I know when there are so many sad stories about. But, I will soon get over it. Your lunch sounds yummy.

hi everyone

bluestar - hope you're feeling better and up to some BDing soon??

Mandy - do you think you might be pg? Will you test on Friday then if no AF? Or can you hold out a little longer? Very excited for you and have fingers (but not legs) crossed!

MJIM - your lunch sounds lovely and very healthy! Maybe you could do with some Ben&Jerry's too! Very sweet imagining you cooking with ds!

HC - lol at the netball team! Bet your dh isn't complaining either! I am also struggling to pinpoint ov, not even sure if I have or will ov this month! What CD are you on? I'm on CD23 but I suppose I may still ov!

detox - good luck to you also. What CD are you on?

Dawn - you ok today? What CD are you on? Sorry to ask everyone but it is quite hard to keep up!

ceebee - hope the party planning is going well! When is it?

bellie - hope you are having a lovely day with your happy news! I am so happy and relieved for you that all is well. Hope you can now start to enjoy being pg!

waves to BB, BM, soosy, willmouse and HM2J

sorry if I have missed anyone out!

CE xx

Afternoon all,

MJIM you inspired me to have crackerbreads for lunch too.

CE, thanks for caring. How are you? I agree it's hard to keep up with everyone's CD. May test Sat if no signs of AF. But no I don't think I'm PG. I don't say that to protect myself from the disappointment - getting weirdly used to it now after 11 negative cycles. I'm getting bored of this you know. Bored of the obsession, the longing, always knowing what bl**dy CD it is, this tedious emotional roller coaster, feeling sad much more often than happy. It doesn't feel... healthy. Relieved we're getting ourselves referred in aug but also - knowing things will get increasingly obsessive & emotional. Anyone here ever thought of adoption? DH not v keen - concerned with the abandonment issue.
misery rant over Sorry! xx

FlirtyThirty · 08/07/2008 17:29

Hi CE!

Flirty here...no news from me, just saying hi really.

On CD 13 and lacking hope for this month...but that's ok as it is our first and DH would probably die of shock if I was PG having had me ramble on for ages about the length of time it takes to conceive...

Have a huge work project to finish this week and a new job to find for my sanity so lots to think about to stop me from obsessing about babies...or that's the theory!
(Feel a bit bad to be honest looking for a new job knowing full well that I hope to be knocked up by Xmas...but there you have it...)

Anyway...hope all's good with you!

Flirty x

ChocolateEclair · 08/07/2008 17:32

hey mandy - don't worry about having a rant. mumsnet is the perfect place to let it all out - after all, where else would you find 10 women who know exactly what you mean and what you are going through?

It will happen for you you know! CE keeps repeating this mantra!

OP posts:
ChocolateEclair · 08/07/2008 17:36

flirty! so sorry for missing you out! brain has turned to mush today! (I also lost my keys at work! grrr). Glad you are well - BDing going ok?

OP posts:
detoxdiva · 08/07/2008 17:38

Hi CE - I am cd29 - so technically on 2ww. Think I ov last week (if my knowledge of cm checking is correct) so did as much bd'ing as possible! Am resisting the urge to test, partly because I don't know when I am due anyway, and partly because I don't want the disappointment . I don't feel pregnant so just waiting for af now!

Mandy - you let it all out love! Feel free to rant away - you'll feel better for it!!

Right - off to make curry for dinner...yum!

FlirtyThirty · 08/07/2008 17:43

No worries, CE! I didn't have much to add so don't worry about missing me out. I'm thick skinned.

Sorry about the car key fiasco - what a pain! I hopefless with keys so have a deal of sympathy.

As for BDing...DH was knackered last night so went to sleep on immediate contact with the pillow! Mature as I am, I sulked. Then I got over it and I'm fine again today. Will do my best to be more seductive tonight - though I think we've missed OV (CD13 or 25/26 day cycle)and I've got the dreaded smear test on Monday so this month is probably a write-off anyway... There's always next month though...

Flirty x
