Hi guys
Here is the lovely new thread. Maybe we might get some newbies as well?!?!?

OP posts:

What were your names ceebee74 and I promise not to laugh at them .

Do you get called Charlie aswell?

My real name is Anthea. Dawn is my middle name but people always mistakenly call me Andrea so I generally use Dawn on stuff like this...

I don't get called Charlie very often as I am not that keen on it - a couple of people at work use it which annoys me a bit but I am not keen on confrontation so I just let them carry on

My chosen names are Samuel (Sam) Jake for a boy and Cassie (middle name to be determined - maybe Louise) for a girl.

All I keep thinking is that this time next week, fingers crossed that baby hasn't got it's legs crossed, I will know whether it will be Sam or Cassie

Why do people confuse your name - Anthea isn't that uncommon is it?

ceebee74 · 04/07/2008 21:21

X-posts MJIM - you can see that I haven't changed my mind!

Your chosen names are so lovely - and I definitely prefer Declan as the first name as it is slightly less common that Isaac - and knowing how you hate names to be shortened, I assume he is not going to be called Dec?

They'll be back ceebee. Your names are lovely.

Charlotte was my Grandma's name so is a definite 2nd choice.

I think you may have mentioned that you hate shortened names once or twice on here So do you call your DH by his full name or the shortened version??

MJIM - your memory is fantastic - remembering little details like what DS calls himself - you really do put us all to shame

'Jish's' middle name is Luke - quite funny as we have just taught him this week that that is his middle name but he says it 'Ook' so I guess his official name is now Jish Ook

His best friends at nursery are 'Aba' (Adam) and 'Ees' (Rhys) - do you think he has a problem with names??

My mum thinks he might have a hearing problem as his pronounciation of words is so terrible

Thanks for the reassurance about pronounication!

Am off to bed now - walking round Manchester for 5 hours and then a trip to Sainsburys has knackered me out!

Good night

ChocolateEclair · 05/07/2008 07:40

bellie - how are you this morning?

OP posts:
HumphreysCorner · 05/07/2008 08:31

Bellie-just checking on you? Keep us updated if you can.

Cor blimey-my OPK was +ive instantly last night so told DH we are on for tonight, tomorrow morning and tomorrow night. He didn't seem to share my excitement of a red line but said he would show more enthusiasm if I showed more over the caravan. So today I am ringing a site to book a pitch.

Very wet here today, a complete contrast to yesterday's hot and sunny day.

Love to all

Morning all,

Bellie - I hope you're okay...?

Unfortunately for us, DH and myself aren't very well. I think we've both eaten something a bit dodgy. Although I'm still trying to figure out what. DH is feeling very delicate and staying in bed. No BDing for us! Rubbish!

bluestarlavender · 05/07/2008 09:57

Ceebee - I liked the names too!! Particularly Samuel Luke.

Bellie · 05/07/2008 10:13

Hi all, had a really early night and managed to sleep. Also dd slept till 8am this morning (not heard of for at least 3 years!!)
No more blood, but still have the lower backache. Am loving my midwives - even though I have not met them yet - they rang again this morning to see how things were . Again been told to rest and wait until monday.

Thanks for thinking of me you guys it means alot.

HC - glad the +ve came at last now you can get down to it!!

Loving the names ceebee - no idea why you killed the other thread

ally90 · 05/07/2008 14:06

I only posted on sunday and there's been an epic since then...so I'm going to even try to catch up

Hope all is well with you Bellie though, midwives sound very on top of things to ring you!

As for me I've had a rotten cold so missed ttc on my, what I think is my most fertile day...never mind...if I miss this time I'll be getting all the ovalation pee stick thingys and asking you what all the acronyms mean...its like a foreign language...I do think I am already pg, for maybe 2 weeks already.. but I could be imagining things...just feel fuller in that department...and a couple of weeks back had lots of cramping one night...and my boobs feel a bit too sensitive...and I get pains which make me think I'm starting to stretch...of course I could of had too much chocolate on my bday but there you go feel like I should be waddling already with hand on tummy...but that could be taking it too far and be embarressing if I'm totally wrong and it really is too much chocolate...

So glad this thread is here...I want to share all the tmi with somebody! And the excitement of it all...

detoxdiva · 05/07/2008 14:28

Ally - hope it is good news for you - pmsl at waddling stroking tummy already

Ceebee - love those names - I daren't even think about names yet. Dh would love a boy but I am just convinced we'll have another girl - I guess it's all I know. Cassie is beautiful though.

Bellie - hope you are feeling ok. Good news that there's been no more bleeding.

HC - hope it's a good weekend for you and dh

Bluestart - hope you're feeling better soon. Dh has been a little under the weather due to the mammouth amount of hours he's been working this week, but luckily he's continuing to oblige in the bedroom !!

I do think however I have passed the fertile time - it is cd 25 and my cycles are averaging 36-40 days at the moment, so prob am in the 2ww bit, but I'm not taking any chances and continue to bd at every opportunity .

Hi to everyone else

HumphreysCorner · 05/07/2008 15:29

Bellie-so pleased to hear there has been no more bleeding.

Good luck to all those in the 2WW. Mandy, are you still hanging on in there and symptom spotting waiting patiently.

I can't wait until tomorrow as I will be officially in the 2WW and as OV was 2 days later this month that means a shorter luteal phase.

Have booked our week in the caravan so hoping it will be fully booked before the PIL can jump in.

Waves to everyone else.
