bellie - how are things now? I understand you must be incredibly worried. I was trying to reassure you not tell you off for panicking. I hope you will be ok til Monday, it does seem like a long way off. Try to relax (oh yeah!) and enjoy your chips. Have an early night if possible? Not sure what else to suggest, but def go to A&E if things get worse. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

MJIM - wow you are good at remembering dates yes I am 10+1 today! Am trying to be as positive as possible, just been for a wee and nothing (other than wee) when I wiped so am taking that as a good sign. Just wish this backache would disappear.

Bellie - I really hope everything is ok - so frustrating that it is Friday!! But, I have read that 95% of women who experience bleeding in pg go on to have a successful pg so please don't pancic - plus if it has stopped, that sounds like a positive sign. Will keep everything crossed for you

Mandy - ooh, definitely sounds positive symptoms to me - going off alcohol is a good sign

Had a lovely day shopping and spent far too much - got a couple of tops from Blooming Marvellous that were half-price in the sale although somehow, DH ended up buying more clothes than me

DawnAS · 04/07/2008 19:54

Hey Bellie,

I'm keeping everything (well almost everything ) crossed that you will be fine. I'm sure that you will be though.

What a worrying weekend for you... Isn't it bad that the Midwives, Nurses etc never take your symptoms as seriously as you do.

I guess we just need to believe that they know what they're talking about....

Thanks for the comments on the CM though, although seems trivial compared to your situation.

Sending big and lots of >

doh handing hanging

Thanks for being so positive Bellie. I'm not. But secretly I am. But I pretend to myself I'm not so I wont get so sad next week . All bonkers. You know what I mean.

CE pub sounds good, have fun. And how lovely of him to give you a teddy! swoon

detoxdiva · 04/07/2008 19:56

Bellie - sending you hugs and hoping everything is ok on Monday. Fwiw, I had some bleeding much like yours at 6weeks with dd - went off to epu and all was well. was told that while any bleeding is not 'normal', it actually is quite common so please try not to worry too much and relax as best you can over the weekend.

Hi to everyone else

The 'O' before thing for a boy is because when you 'O' you release something or other which favours male sperm. Getting to the stage where I'll take pot luck-Chloe or Matthew.

Bellie-hope there is no more bleeding.

ChocEclair-think I'll have a glass of vino myself but DH will have to keep his troups to himself for a couple of days.

Have really got the urge to go on the back of DH's motorbike again but he is reluctant to put the pillion seat back on. There is an annual local Bike Night on Wednesday and I just want to go back down memory lane when it was just the 2 of us having a lager and a tray of chips before hopping back on the bike for a run home. Have got until Wednesday to persuade him. Can't even threaten lack of BDing as it wouldn't help me!

MJIM-I suppose as I have had Matthew picked since I was about 19 years old I don't need to think about it as much as trying to think of girls names IYSWIM.

Yes, Matthew John (after my FIL). Very Biblical I know and my friend flatly refused to use Biblical names which I thought was very silly so she isn't keen on my choice. Hope I eventually get to use it-lol!

Ahhhh, those names are lovely HC.

DH and I are big fans of "The OC" (well, obviously I'm more of a fan that he is... ) and we've decided on the name Marissa, Missy for short. Quite unusual. But for a boy we also love Ryan, which is another name from "The OC" so we'd better make sure that we don't have twins, one of each, otherwise we'd have to change our choices so that people don't make the link...

Somone mentioned Lottie to me today, that's quite nice. Anyone know what it's short for? Like Bethany aswell (y'all notice I'm liking the girls names??!!

xxx

PS: Bellie, feeling any better?

ceebee74 · 04/07/2008 20:57

Dawn - lol at what Lottie is short for - tis Charlotte - tis also DHs nickname for me and the only person allowed to use it

I think I have just killed my ante-natal thread by talking about names lol - it is usually really busy but did a post with my chosen names on about an hour ago and no-one has posted since They aren't that bad are they??
