We have all been very brave together and supported eachother. For those of us that are ready, it may be time to support eachother again as we return to TTC. Lets hold hands, remember our loss and give a nod to the future as we endeavour to procreate and............

I think it is a slight tummy bug: intestinal cramps and frequent visits to the loo last night and this morning! Feel a bit run down as well. I do have a funny taste in my mouth, which is a pg symptom, but am still so snotty as well that could just be all the gunk in my head!!!

Well I will test again later this week if still no sign of AF!

Oh becky hope you feel better soon and that AF doesn't show. I feel as I have got older that my cycle is defo more whacked out and I always seem to get a few days spotting before AF which I never did in the past. Hope it is good news for you!

I have already began feeling pmt symptoms, sore boobs, grumpy, weepy etc and I am not even due till sat was hoping this month may have brung more luck since my opk stick was so positive but hey ho and ba humbug its obviously not meant to be this month. GRRR

Hope AF is a no show-er for you both Poppy and Becky! I have my fingers crossed.

Journey back yesterday was a nightmare - got on the plane okay, and on time, only to be told that they had the wrong number of bags aboard. We were then marched off the plane by the front door, had to identify our luggage and then got back on by the back door. The back door then broke so we had to wait for a technician to come and mend it. By the time we took off ds was bored of all my 'clever' techniques to keep him occupied, and when the dvd player's batteries went that was just too much for him and he got really upset! Poor little thing. Didn't get back till after 10 last night, and then was straight into work this morning. Urgh...

Anyway, still have a cold (2 weeks now) so am feeling miserable and sorry for myself . Plus was the first due date yesterday... i didn't tell anyone, and didn't even mention it to DH. Am sure he didn't realise what day it was, but somehow I couldn't bring myself to speak the words out loud .

hope you are all okay? M2O how are you feeling? Are you a little less sore? Hope so. Nandos how's the sickness??? Am hoping it doesn't get too bad for you - it's just an awful thing to have to get through.

The kettle's just boiled so am off to make a hot water bottle and cuddle up in bed with a Lemsip. Hope it works!

Hope the lemsip works. I know you feel. I have the snots and the squits today and am really feeling very sorry for myself. Stomach is gurgling away... we need to inject some Christmasy spirit here I think.

Feel much better today! How are you feeling today mbm? Nandos hope the sickness isn't too bad. I used to feel worse at around 5pm, just as I was feeding the DSs. I'd be there heaving over the frying sausages... hope you beat your DH on the PS3!

A couple of months back I had the spotting for a few days then it stopped and no AF came and for a day of two I had a flutter of hope but then AF arrived with a bang. I was mad!!

Am still hoping my spell will work in fact am going to do another easy one that just requires me to get some mistletoe. It was in my mum's magazine and she was all like "you should try that" so have decided to give it a go. DH just says nothing now!! Nothing ventured nothing gained.

DS is off school with a very bad cough. Was up quite a lot last night with it. It is a real shame as today is his school party and he is quite sad at missing it but when I phoned the office today the school secretary said if he feels better at lunchtime just to bring him down! Don't know what his teacher will make of that but the secretary really runs the school so it shouldn't really matter.

re your AF, grr at it why cant it just be straightforward? its frustrating isnt it? the last time my cycle was messed up was after my mc (both) and the 1st one didnt come on till 2 weeks later after supposed af date. The 2nd was 5 days late and that was it..

Perhaps that is it, perhaps I'm just still out of sorts since the MC and being ill probably messes things up too. I just want it to arrive or a test to be +ve so I know!!! I haven't done one today. Too scared in case it is -ve still.

Poor you Nandos feeling pucky. I mean puky not pucky!!! Have you tried any of the usual remedies: ginger biscuits, mints, pear drops (I ate them by the bag last time and now can't stand the smell of them!).

Nandos Sorry you're feeling bad, but then again at the same time am happy iykwim . Are you actually throwing up? Are you managing to eat much? Big (((hugs))). Am taking Lemsip Max Breathe Easy which has got the decongestant in it. Normally it's great, but have now been taking it for so long it's almost stopped working. Either that or my cold's just worse... Can't breathe at all most of the time through my nose, and every time I swallow my nose makes clicking noises. Nice. Can't get hold of the new Lemsip as they don't sell it over here . Dad has been a star and has sent my supply over for me - might get him to send the ones you mentioned next time!

M2O How are you doing? Have you seen the consultant yet? Hope you're okay.

I am deffo out this month as I have aready began spotting so my next due date of hogmanay will come and I won't be pg again. Felt really really angry about this yesterday but am trying to be positive - at least I can have some champagne at xmas

nandos have you thought of maybe trying something like homeopathy for your ms - have heard that can be really helpful. It's no fun but at least it is a good sign.

Right here is the spell for MBM and anyone else who would like to try my desparate measures!!!

Mistletoe is a magical plant and one of the many powers it is said to possess is the power to bring fertility to childless couples. If you want to concieve, take a sprig of mistletoe and place it on a worktop/table on the winter sabbat (21 Dec). Then take a handful of fresh basil or two teaspoons of dried basil, and scatter this around the mistletoe. Say this invocation nine times.

To gift me a child,

Of a girl or a boy.
So mote it be.'

Leave the mistletoe and herbs out overnight. The following day, hang the mistletoe somewhere in your home and leave it there till 21 Dec the following year.

Apparantly everytime her friends have cast this spell they have fallen pg and so far have only had girls!!

I'm going to give it a go. At least this time DH doesn't need to take part whilst cringing

am not feeling too good today, been vomiting twice early morning(after midnight) and also this morning will try some ginger biscuits as becky mentioned b4..am not a fan of ginger biscuits though but now in desperate times im willing to try anything that doesnt make me puke..

Oh god. Life sucks. Just heard from a close friend of mine who I mentioned here before has just had a second MC in a row. She had an MC in the summer and then got pregnant straight away, had her 12-week scan today and found out it's happened again. I feel so sad for her. God why does this happen????

my friend's younger sis also had a mc last week and that was her 1st successful iui attempt after having a few unsuccessful ivfs.. it must be really hard for her and your friend..
im just over 7 weeks today and dreading the same thing..its always at the back of my mind. i really hope i can carry to full term a healthy bouncing baby

I know exactly how she must be feeling, as that was what happened to me. Has she been told anything - was it a mmc/not developing properly? it's just such a sad and awful thing to happen. Am v happy today as have just finished school for the hols, yay!!! I have two and a half lovely weeks stretched out in front of me. I love this feeling! (Am trying not to think that before I know it it'll all be over ) Have got soooo much to do though! Anyone know how to ice a christmas cake???

I've iced some Christmas cakes in my time. Just mix the royal icing as per box (or do you mean making icing from scratch? If so, no idea!) and spread it over cake with a warm knife (dipped in warm water) (or marzipaned cake - I've only ever used marzipan out of a box ready made so don't know how to make it). I usually then make it all snowy looking with a fork.

Thanks for the basil Becky What is going on with your AF? Is really weird isn't it. Poor you, am not surprised you feel stressed. I would've thought a pg test would've shown +ve by now if you were pg - have you thought about asking your doctor? Is so very frustrating. Don't you just wish you could take a look inside and see what is going on.

Thanks for the icing advice - I didn't know they did it in a box! I am an icing virgin, unless fairy cakes count so I really haven't a clue. I knew that I needed marzipan, but I haven't got any, and don't even know where to get it over here. S'pose I'll have to traipse to the English shop to get some. Is always a bad idea going there - prices are through the roof, and I get so excited by seeing lots of familiar things that I end up buying everything!

Have to say ds is v cute at the mo - one of our dogs is called Kaya, and he keeps standing at the back door calling "Kaga, Kaga". Is so sweet I want to burst!

Hi Poppy How are you? After all the palava of making dh get a ladder and then climb up to get the mistletoe (yes, I wimped out ) I have decided not to do the spell... The mistletoe is sat on the island in the kitchen, with a jar of basil sitting next to it, so I got that far! Am terrified that I will do something that will inadvertently change the course of what's going to happen anyway... I also read and re-read the wording several times, and it said it's to help you conceive. Touchwood, I don't seem to have a problem with that, it's just the keeping them that I can't seem to do. Thank you so much anyway for writing it all out - if there is still no baby by this time next year I will certainly be giving it a try! What do I do with the mistletoe now? I feel really sorry for it

Hope you've all had good weekends - my PIL's arrived this evening which means that Christmas has now started! Yay! Despite fearing that I would be really upset over this time, so far I seem to be okay. How's everyone else feeling?

Hi MBM totally understand why you wimped out of spell! I felt exactly the same last yr before I bought the one from Mia Angel (as if I was doing something I shouldn't) but then tbh desperation got the better of me I did mine tonight and it is all laid out on the worktop ready to be hung somewhere tomorrow hope it helps us!
