I have been taking agnus castus this month but have just noticed the tablets are only 100mg each and have been taking 3 a day, perhaps a higher dose would help. Have had DH on the zinc as well. Maybe grapefruit juice is the next step....AGHHHHH

Feel like I am the road to madness. Hopefully should be getting results back soon from recurrent mc clinic as that was 6 wks ago although I'm not sure really what I want them to say

so far after hearing some things, i started trying it lol, e.g tried preseed, foot massage(havent try acupuncure though), hips up, no caffeine..the list is unlimitless

1. Grapefruit juice- increase EWCM
2. EPO/starflower oil- increase EWCM
3. Vit E 200iu- mother natures secret fertility ingredient
4. Deanna plan- sex every other day from day 8, OPKs from day 10, fairy sex every day for 3 days from + on OPK then one days rest then one more for luck, worth a try.

Love all your fairy advice have been trying the Deanna method last month and feel like after all that action we should have had good news but it is not to be . Just feel knackered and disappointed .

Just wondering though what are your thoughts on OPK sticks. Have been using them for a while now and although I do get a positive I am unconvinced of how accurate that is as it sometimes seems to be later in the month than when the EWCM appears. Are the digital ones better than the ebay numbers?

nandos apparantly the agnus castus helps regulate female hormones and can help with infertility . Have took it all last month and cycle does seem to be a bit better although if the OPK stick are correct I ov'd late this month but I have only been feeling pmt symptoms for a couple of days and think AF is about to arrive. Usually I feel ill for about a wk beforehand. Oh the joys!!

btw poppy, sorry to bother you again but where can i buy the agnus castus from?
the OPK from ebay is fine cos' i used it days from ovulation till ovulation and the line gets darker till its darker than the control line then it becomes faint again the following day after o.
i got to go for now as need to buy some groceries for dinner today as some guests are arriving in the afternn n evening..

OPKs and EWCM never seem to tally up for me either, When we start trying again after my lap and dye (17th December) I'm not gonna use OPKs. I'm gonna temp and follow EWCM. I always find that I feel very stressed when I use OPKs- I think the best thing is to keep having sex till your period turns up! you have covered all bases then.

If you try grapefruit juice it has to be PURE- not from concentrate so will be in the fridge in the supermarket.

Holland and Barrett sell agnus castus- I may start that too although I found that B6 lengthened my LP by 2 days to 12 days so may not need the AC.

Have been stressing a bit the past couple of days- have got pain in my pelvis again despite the pill- all this talk of TTC is of course if I get a good result from the lap and dye. If not then no amount of temping will help me!!! the pain I have been getting is making me think it cant be good news

Hi MBS know exactly what you mean about being obsessed about ttc, I feel like it has just about taken over my life and I give over so much time to thinking about it and every month when AF arrives I begin hunting around looking to find some other things to add to the mix . It's like a constant feeling of discontentment .

Like the idea of grapefruit juice with rum will defo try that! I learn something everyday from this site and especially our sex fairy as I didn't know it had to be the juice from the fridge section - I had been getting the wrong kind!!!!

D'oh! I drink pineapple juice with rum!!!!! Can't even blame hormones for addlin' me brain . Does sound nice though...

Any questions at all, just ask the sex fairy Am half thinking about opening a clinic like zita west (praise be)- it can't be hard can it? put the willy in there, do that about 50 times a month and you can't go wrong can you? sorry but i need a bit of a rant here..
went for the appt today and its the same old bloody thing
my blood test results were normal as usual and dh's sample was bad as usual.. and due to our cultural background differences (in other words, his primitive-thinking-family/relatives), i am the one who everyone thinks is the infertile one and after the appt was finished, i just exploded and told him that he was infertile, not me!
i know its cruel but he did told me last yr than i cannot get pregnant cos' i was infertile! MEN! sometimes they can be such a jerk.
why cant these ppl see that not only women have problems but also men??
im just fed up of ppl looking at me like im an 'impotent person' iykwim..
rant over..
am going to the US soon for 2 wks and will try to come on MN whenever possible and when AF turns up,will have to do a HSG.

Oh Nandos . You poor thing. That must be really diffcult, no wonder you lost it with him. Shame on his family for being like that.

What's an HSG? What does it entail? I'm so sorry that life can't be simpler for you. Why do things have to be so bloody difficult sometimes?

At least your blood test results were normal, that's one positive thing. What can they do about DH's sperm?

btw HSG is the lap/dye test to check if tubes are blocked or not and from there will do another follow-up.
they also asked dh for another set of sample. in my mind i was thinking its gonna be the same old thing again..why do they have to take samples again n again?

Is the HSG what you're having M2O? Hopefully it'll come back with good results for both of you...

It's ridiculous with all the samples, seems like they're putting off actually doing anything about it. Maybe though if DH gives another sample and hear's again that it's bad it might sink in with him and his family...

We can hopefully start ttc in March time - just need another two months of negative HCG tests to check this tumour hasn't started to regrow. Then hopefully we'll get the all clear! Have a holiday booked for the end of Feb and don't want to have to cancel it in case I'm sick (thinking positively here ). I'm so excited already about ttc, but even more nervous...

No- I'm having a laproscopy to look for endo deposits so they will cut my belly button and put a camera in to look around my womb, ovaries, bladder and bowel. I am having dye put through my tubes while they are in there as a buy one get one free special offer

Don't know what I thought a lap was, but it wasn't that! You poor thing, you must be really dreading it. Sorry for being quite as clueless as I am ......

Oh bless you!! It only takes about 30 minutes but they may cut me across my bikini line too and in both sides. If they find anything then I have to go back in for another op to have the deposits cut away, that can take a few hours depending on how much there is. am still keeping my fingers crossed that there is naff all there but then sort of hope there is cos otherwise god knows what this pain is!!

nandos just feel so for you. Somehow it always seems easier for some people to lay all the blame at the woman's feet. Take no notice of any of them.

As for the sperm results they can change depending on health levels etc (so I was told at recurrent mc clinic). My DH had his sperm tested about 2.5 yrs ago and it came back v low which was a big blow as we had been ttc #2 for over a yr. BUT straight after test DH had pneumonia and was qt seriously ill. Then a few months later in the summer I had to have the lap and dye test at hosp and DH was asked to repeat sperm test. This one came back normal and we were told this was because his body had not been healthy at time of prev test. My lap etc came back clear too and we were told secondary infertility so that was quite depressing as I think I thought they could "fix" me/us. Sorry for the ramble just wanted to try and give a positive spin for you.

am soo shocked rather than happy cos' i have very little symptoms compared to the last preg/mc and i decided to test early cos' im going to US tmr and just needed to know

symptoms i had this time is bloating,sleepy in the afternn and slight sore bbs. last week was more intense so i thought AF really will come tmr cos' sore bbs have reduced today and its a sign AF is coming..hope it doesnt this time.
tmi, i was thinking of packing lots of pads for AF which is due soon but will take some anyway just in case anything happens.
and i dont think i can do HSG since the letter said they cannot perform HSG if pregnancy is suspected so i'll just skip it this time.

MBM, am on day 29 of 31 now so i tested 2 days early.. it came up within the minute so i guess im pregnant?
tbh i am scared cos' dh sperm results was really bad..normal count was 3% so i have a v. high chance of mc ..
am not hoping too much for now..am just thinking of the trip tmr and just pretend i didnt get the 2 lines..

Don't worry re lack of symptoms - when I was first pg with ds I would've sworn I wasn't pg as apart from a little dizziness I felt normal! Only did test to make sure that I was okay drinking that weekend . Was like you - completely shocked, so I hope for you that this is also a good and healthy pregnancy with no problems. I can't tell you how much I want everything to go perfectly for you.......
