Squaaaaaaaaaack are you there? Is it this one that I need? It's the only digital one I can see apart from this one which has other gubbins with it.

And what's the lottie?

kayzisexpecting · 01/06/2008 10:03

YAY Glaskham!!!!!!

Thats great news!!!!!

glaskham · 01/06/2008 10:09

It is.... i've been brimming for ear to ear since we GOF'd without the need for a condom yesterday!! It took 2 days of constantly talking about how wonderful it'd be forhim to come round.... but i knew i'd win anyway, he only wanted one to start with, but he was the one who planted the seed of a 3rd in my head about 6mths ago!!

Our finances wouldn't improve at all, but we wouldn't really be any worse off. So easier to cope with 3 now, than getting used to 2 and then having a 3rd and it hitting us harder!! and both dc's will be at school/nursery by time any child was 6mths and thats saying i got caught this month!!!

Diege · 01/06/2008 10:11

Morning . Wow that's great news Galskham ; makes you think that everything happens for a reason, so fingers crossed for the next few days!
Tink, don't blame you with the bettaware, always seems like a lot of work imo! Kay, squack, kooky, your weekend plans sound great . The weather here is bleughh, but we are going to brave it and cycle into town. DH has borrowed a tag along, so on his bike they'll be him, and all 3 dds (one on front seat, one on back, one on tag along. I really panic about having dds on my bike as we had a nasty accident a while back now when me and dd2 crashed and it's put me off. It's the last day of the continental market today, so we're off to show dh the giant paella!

Moosma · 01/06/2008 10:19

Glaskham for you! That's good timing, not much waiting for you and no time for your DH to change his mind!

kayzisexpecting · 01/06/2008 10:21

Someone told me yesterday it is much harder going from 1 to 2 than it is going form 0 to 1.

I thought it would be harder to go from 0 to 1.

glaskham · 01/06/2008 10:34

i have to admit having dd was a big reality check for me. she was very time demanding, always screming if i put her down etc. I was tryign to give ds as much attention as he was used to so he'd be ok, he was only 15.5mths when dd arrived... but this time round i have had experiences of a nightmare baby and a prefect baby.... so i know i can expect anything, and cope!!

it was much harder to adjust when dd arrived than it was when ds arrived!!

kayzisexpecting · 01/06/2008 10:41

DS was a perfect baby. He slept through at 4 weeks. He has never been a crying baby really. Lots of people think he never cries. He only really cries if he falls over or as soon as he wakes up.

So I am expecting a devil baby this time round.

glaskham · 01/06/2008 10:48

i say expect the worst baby ever and you can only be plesantly surprised!!! i expected another perfect baby like ds and got much worse.... if i'd have expected differently it might not have hit me as bad!!

Squack · 01/06/2008 11:45

Mooooooooos
lol

That's the one £8.99, not just the food prices have gone up then eh?
Lottie is slang for allotment. Garden party is cancelled as it's p*ssing down outside. Hopefully the rearranged date will be better.

Ta Tink, I thought it was looking ok too.

Glaskham that is good news

Diege do you not wobble with the kids back and front? Is it not a lot harder to ride?

Diege · 01/06/2008 12:53

Arghhh!!! A wash out here too - the market was pretty miserable in the rain, so we've headed home early. Took the car too!
I've just asked dh about the bike thing (I don't have them front and back on mine)Squack - he says it is actually easier with someone on the front too as it stabilises the front wheel ..so there you go! Back luck about the garden party .
Re: 'good'/'bad' babies, I would actually say that ging from 0 to 1 was the hardest for me. From one to two was relatively easy, as was 3 from 2. I think we've only had a month or two totally nappy free before dd3 was born anyway, so have reallt never left the toddler stage before another comes along! I definitely found the early weeks a lot easier when I followed a routine (yes, I'll admit that 'you know who' really saved my sanity!!!)but it might have been that dd2 would have been an easy baby anyway. She was certaintly a 'classic' toddler!
Right, need a strong coffee!

Squack · 01/06/2008 13:23

I agree Diege going 'from 3 to 2' does strike me as rather easy.
which one do I get rid of? hmmmm

I'm off to have lunch soon, I don't think LL will check in until tomorrow.

I might test tomorrow they're calling me!!!!!

Diege · 01/06/2008 13:58

No2 anyday for me . Hopefully LL is too goffed out to go anywhere near a computer.
Yes, you must test tomorrow Squack!!!

Squack · 01/06/2008 14:18

hmmm but i don't think it's very likely I'll get a +ve at 9dpo. However it never really bothers me to see a -ve either.

I'm not one of those who are devastated/soul-destroyed to see a negative result.

Diege · 01/06/2008 14:22

Well in that case deffo test tomorrow...plus the negative you might get would be more likely to be because it's too early to test...which means you should perhaps wait.. On the other hand...oh just test!!

Squack · 01/06/2008 14:23

Diege you asked me what I did as a job.

I work 1.5/7 and I can't tell you what I do for reasons which would be perfectly clear if you knew what I did lol.

The HE stands for Home Ed

Moosma · 01/06/2008 14:34

Ooooooooooooooh, either you're a spy or you work for MNHQ!

Squack · 01/06/2008 15:32

pmsl, neither, just easily recognisable to those I would not wish to be known to iyswim.

It's a rather specific job and a small world for those in a similar position.

Plus, yes, I would have to kill you all

glaskham · 01/06/2008 15:37

thoguht i'd update and add myself in there.... though i need to change my age in just over a week.... oh and i now think i didn't do the updated on in the first place!!

oops....

glaskham · 01/06/2008 15:44

oh thoguht i'd take advantage of the never TMI rule....

need advice on EWCM....

I've never goen on ovulation by EWCM before... but did notice it last cycle afetr i'd joined these boards.... is it when it is really glupey just like egg whites?? I had that eysterday and today.... is that a sign that i have OV'd, due to OV or what?... i'm only on day 13 of cycle, and normally OV on day 14.... but thoguht i'd check as i want to get lucky asap!!

Diege · 01/06/2008 15:49

Yes, that's it Glaskham! Timing-wise, think it means you're going to ovulate in the next 24 hours?
Squack, oooh I am very intriqued now...nothing like a secret shopper is it??? Or a lap dancer???
STILL raining here, dds are going stir crazy!!!

Squack · 01/06/2008 15:50

EWCM should be present in the days leadig up to O with the gloopiest day being classed as 'peak' and will be followed by a dry sensation. Sometimes women O on the peak day, some on the dry day following.

Best bet is to have sex everyday that you have ewcm and on the dry day after it's gone as well just in case.

glaskham · 01/06/2008 15:59

right so i better pounch on Dh when the kids go to bed.... i've already promised him a BJ after he's been to footy... so he can give me that before footy!! haha!! and i'll have to get it tomorrow night aswell then to be safe... and every ngiht till i dont have EWCM...

also can i ask do you make sure you raise your bum or something before wiping yourself clean??? I'm desperate for a +ive as soon as is humanly possible... and concieving my other 2 on the pill means we both have a lot to live up to!! haha!!
