Thanks LL have responded too.

Tink what days did you GOF and what day did you O? Is it still on your chart?

Squack · 25/05/2008 14:58

uh-oh the digi opk has given me the smiley face again today, same time as yesterday.
I got a negative late last night so maybe I haven't O'd at all.

I also had 2 glasses of wine last night (only just remembered) which could be why my temp is up this morning.

feck it!

If I'm pg, I'm pg. If not then I'm sure my period will come.....eventually

Last month however i got 2 days of the face so maybe it's not a busted cycle.

lardylumps · 25/05/2008 15:19

where is dh squack you need to jump on him now...

Do you get the when you ov or just before you ov?

Diege · 25/05/2008 15:57

Hello! back from piccies - dd2 spent most of it curled up with her face in my shoulder, though dd1 who is only a year older loved it!
LL, we have the same tummy problem with dd3, but she has a lazy bowel, so only poos once a week and that's after taking a sachet of movicol. Her tummy is like football, really hard, and she is very skinny otherwise (18-24 month clothes and she's 3 in Nov). Sounds like the GP might give you some fibrey-type thingy (can't remember the name)..anyway, glad you've got an appointment (and lol at pensioner corns , probably right there..
I am getting seriously interested in this temping thing, just by hearing others stories. If not pregnant this month (not very likely indeed) then I'm missing out June (so as not be be sick on hols) I will be on a mission and invest in a thermometer!

lardylumps · 25/05/2008 16:01

imaginarybluelines · 25/05/2008 18:44

Hi everyone,
It has been ages since I popped in to this thread, but I was just checking in today, when I saw my name added to the list. It sounds really sad, but it feels really nice to be included, especially when I have been really crap at popping in. So thanks very much - you made me feel all warm and lovely!
So when I last posted I thought (as the name suggests) that there might have been a line on my clear blue. urns out there wasn't, but I'm not dissapointed as my period has arrived at last (haven't had it for 20 months altogether... have 11 month old DD who am still breast feeding) so am very happy now as at least I know that at least there is a chance of conception now.
So now I really need your help! Last time we never did any TTC - it just happened, so I don't know anything about it all. I have done a bit of googling, and it looks like 2 weeks in from first day of period is most likely time to conceive. Is this right? Am very excited!!
Sorry for long waffle!

Teuch · 25/05/2008 19:38

welcome back!

It depends on your cycle - the average woman has a 28 day cycle, ovulating on or around day 14, with a 14 day luteal phase (the time between ovulation and next period). You will find that many, many women have different cycles from this.

Obviously, this is your first cycle in a while, and they may have changed from before you were pregnant.

Best thing to do is look out for signs of ovulation (egg white cervical mucus is the main one, ovulation pain, increased sex drive, soft and high cervix if you are not too squeamish!).

I would aim to have sex every other day from the end of your period, then as often as possible when you spot the OV signs (or failing any signs, from about CD12-17).

Good luck!!

Squack · 25/05/2008 19:50

Oh I don't know LL, I give up. Maybe my wee was too dilute last night, hence the -ve, that's a distinct possibility.

I need to forget about it and shag as usual. If it happens it happens. Had some cramping a couple of hours ago which felt odd. Wasn't in ovary areas at all, was very central, weird.

Tink I'll give £10 to a charity of your choice, if you're not pg with a girl.
I'm absolutely positive it'll be a girl from your GOF pattern and a little bit ....I wanna girl!!!!

actually strike that

I WANNA BABY!!!

Squack · 25/05/2008 19:51

Gives me hope though Tink, 3 days before and you're pg.

How are you feeling?

Diege · 25/05/2008 19:54

OMG TWINKLE!!! You poor thing how stressful and awful for you. How many weeks now? I must have been picking up psychic vibes as I actually e-mailed you this morning to see how things were going!!! Touch wood all will be fine, but if you can e-mail me back we can chat properly . Don't worry about gatecrashing, I'm sure no-one minded in the least!
Hi Teuch (great logistic advice as always!) , and welcome back imaginaryblueline!!

Moosma · 25/05/2008 20:37

Squack, this is getting weird now, I have had strange cramping today too, it was very central so I didn't recognise it at first, thought I just had tummy ache. I said to DH, "I've got strange tummy, no not tummy, womb ache"

Teuch · 25/05/2008 20:48

Guess what!!! I cannot believe it!!!

I just found baby on the doppler

Doppler came yesterday so I had a go, but no joy (obviously!!) so decided to put it away 'til after scan, but couldn't resist and just found hearbeat over 150bpm so definitely baby!!

I thought it was pretty unlikely this early!

Squack & Moos - I get cramping as well as ovary pain.

Squack · 25/05/2008 20:50

Moos you're stalking my wonb heheh!

Squack · 25/05/2008 20:52

Aww! Teuch how wonderful.

Do you know i've never got a doppler for home use. Might this time though.

Moos it's a weird feeling isn't it? Hope it's good news for both of us. Maybe we'll be due the same day !

kookykid · 25/05/2008 21:17

Hello everyone.
Fingers crossed for you squack and moosma!
I have now done 3 daily OPKs (is this the correct terminology??) and nothing but a big empty circle. I'm on cd 14 so quite surprised it wasn't a smiley face today! We'll see what happens tomorrow morning... Anyone else on CD14 or doing OPK?

Teuch · 25/05/2008 21:36

Kooky - keep an eye out for other signs too (see above!!) as some women never get that smiley face, and others get it the whole cycle through...

Diege · 25/05/2008 21:41

Echo what teuch says Kooky. Was doing the monitors when trying for dd3 and never got a smiley the month I was pregnant .

kookykid · 25/05/2008 21:44

Is THAT what EWCM is?????!
OK, think that's happening now! Does that indicate OV is happening or about to happen? Should I get GOFing (not even going to ask what that stands for as get the general idea!).
Thanks Teuch

Diege · 25/05/2008 22:15

Get goff-ing Kooky!!! Think it means ovulation is imminent (is that right Teuch?) as opposed to happening RIGHT NOW, but a sign to get going, as it's fertile mucous (sp??)(ewww, sounds 'orrible put like that!).
Well I have periody type cramps at cd 18 (after goffing day 10, 14 and 15). A sort of creamy, copious CM , so don't think ov is on its way!
Right, off to be shortly, so speak tomorrow. Yay, no work!!!

Diege · 25/05/2008 22:16

off to bed; I must start previewing!

kayzisexpecting · 26/05/2008 07:06

Morning,

Sorry I haven't been on much. I was out all day Saturday and then I had to work yesterday as my supervisor forgot there were 2 people on holiday. Then I got home all ready to come on here and catch up, I had an awful headache so spent the afternoon asleep.

We're hoping to go on a long walk today. Just trying to decide where to go. Might push DH of a hill as he has annoyed me this morning.

DS woke up early and he was really grumpy. I'm the one who has had to get up with him while DH stays asleep in bed, despite me being awake from 2 til half 3 this morning.

So have I missed anything?

Teuch · 26/05/2008 08:18

I have had to deal with a dead lamb this morning as DH is away...before breakfast, too!
