NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 22/05/2008 18:22

I am great thanks LL, DS2 has been poorly (is picking up a bit now) but he has just slept all day on me, so have watched Cocktail, and Dirty Dancing, not done a thing except sort lunch and dinner, oh and put a load in the washing machine Would like to say it's been bliss, but I have been sooooooo bored!!! He better be OK tomorrow, it's last MN day to myself before the half term!!!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 22/05/2008 18:24

Right I am off DH is home, have a lovely evening everyone See you tomorrow xxx

kayzisexpecting · 22/05/2008 18:34

Night Nat,

My day has been pants!!!!

We found out DS has eczema, then someone told us it could mean he is allergic(sp) to nuts and me and DH had a row. Not a big one or anything and it lasted literally 5 minutes but enough to upset me a little bit.

Diege · 22/05/2008 18:40

Thanks for the new thread Nat; love the title!! Aww Nat, excema is sooo common, and very rarely does it indicate nut allergy (ditto asthma). 2 out of the 3 of my dds have it, but no other allergies (dd1 a bit sneezy after rolling in cut grass at school ).

Right, hope to be back later, but if not, night all and speak tomorrow

Diege · 22/05/2008 18:41

Sorry, meant to direct sympathies for excema to Kay!!

glaskham · 22/05/2008 18:46

well firstly they let me do insems when they thoguht her DH had a very good chance of loosing his job, so they'd be skint for paying my expences and i'd not feel happy with that, she let slip on that by mentioning his 'meeting about his job next week' when she said it i just asked then she told me.... fair enough she told me then, but she'd known since before insems!! i also found out her DH had councelling for his stress levels for work.... They kept this from me, and i foundout this because she asked me to look on another site she goes on to give my opinion on a reply she'd left.... then i saw a thread she'd started about him locking her out in the cold for 2hrs, because 'he was stressed' if he does that now, then a baby and sleepless nights wont help.

Anyway when i confronted them that i was a little upset they'd not told me these things i got what sounded like a well rehearsed 'we didn't plan it, it wasn't meant to hurt you' sort of excuse..... and by that point i'd spent the last 10 days worrying, thinking, talkign with DH and had realised i'd lost trust in them....

kayzisexpecting · 22/05/2008 18:51

Thats awful Glaskham, they should at least have talked to you about his job and his stress before you started so that everything was out in the open. So you could all sit down and talk through everyone thoughts and fears before deciding to go ahead.

I can't imagine how it must be for them to not be able to have kids but they are all things that a couple who can have kids would have to talk through.

I hope you are ok.

glaskham · 22/05/2008 18:56

yeah...i'm ok!!

and there are loads more surrogates out there, hopefully one day they will meet someone else and will get their child....just a shame it couldn't be with me!!

Cosmogirl · 22/05/2008 18:58

Hi ladies, just checking into the new thread. Another terrible day at the office. Office politics surrounding bad boss is just getting out of control. Am really getting sick of it. Had a chat to DH who made me feel ten times worse - great! All 'keep your head down, just get on with your job etc etc'....Easier said than done! A colleague did something dodgy today, which if it got out could end in her being sacked. She told us about it and now DH is all like 'you could be implicated because you knew'.....Feel really stressed about it now. Grrrrr. Sorry for the rant.

Squack · 22/05/2008 19:03

sorry I buggered off to make the Dinner.

Good title though

You know at some point we'll have to have a rethink about this thread. If we all end up-the-duff how can we waddle pootle round a ttc thread? lol

kookykid · 22/05/2008 19:12

Hi, is there room for me on this wagon of yours??
I have been lurking on and off, but will be doing my first ovulation test thingy in the next couple of days and would like to go through it with others in a similar situation.

lardylumps · 22/05/2008 19:14

Glaskham that is terrible, you are right the stress of a baby on top of his work could spell disaster.. What a relief you found out now.

Cosmo so sorry you are having a rough time. I know how you feel, can?t go into to much detail but I have been through a very similar thing at work and it is the pits. Men just don?t understand but vent on us we do...

Kay most of my family have eczema, asthma and hay fever. I am the only one that doesn't (ummmm sure I am adopted ). Not one has a nut allergy. My nephew (no blood link) has a sever nut allergy however but there is no link to eczema in his family...

lardylumps · 22/05/2008 19:15

welcome Kooky. Please take a seat...

kayzisexpecting · 22/05/2008 19:15

Hello Kooky!!! Of course there is room for you. Its a big wagon this!!

Squack, I think we should start a TTC Wagon ante-natal club!!!

lardylumps · 22/05/2008 19:16

Right here comes the interigation kooky...

Do you have any children?
How long have you been ttc?
