TWW at 40 yrs old

A few days into my two week wait now, period due around 2nd of March.

Trying not to get too excited as I'll soon be 40 and I know my chances are lower - nevertheless, I found myself downloading a pregnancy tracking app this morning and looking at all the visuals of what the baby would look like at various stages 🙃

Anyone else out there want to wait with me? Crossing fingers and toes for my November baby!!

Hi ladies, I tested this evening. And got two positives. I thought it was all over earlier this afternoon when I had a little bit of brown discharge. But I did not bleed and in hindsight was probably old implantation bleeding. I have had an eptopic before so will get a scan next week. I am happy but super nervous that it holds. I’ll let you know how it goes. Best wishes and thinking of all of you. I know this kind of news can be hard to hear depending on where you are. But I hope it gives you hope xx

Amazing news @Daisychains9it really does give me hope! I know what you mean though, so many people I know are currently pregnant/just had babies and oh the jealousy is something else even though I am so happy for all of them!

On a plus, still no period. Annoyed with myself I didn’t pack a test to bring with me to my parents

Thank you! Yes it can be hard and I can completely sympathise. I have my fingers crossed for you! Hopefully you can find a test somewhere near your parents!

I think i might be out this month - regardless of the fact that my tests are out of date - when i wiped yesterday it was pinky and then today a bit brown - i am due on anytime so i think it might be coming!

I’ve got 2 more acupunctures then he said that should balance things out for a while now.
CD 6 here so ready to start trying again this cycle

Fingers crossed! I have been having accupunture every week and it has really made me feel better. I'm not sure if it has any impact on fertility but it has helped release a lot of tension in my body. Best of luck.

AF flow has arrived :( - i am really dissapointed but hey ho - onto the next cycle!

@VanessaShanessaJenkins99 it’s a rubbish feeling isn’t it. Some months seem to hit me harder than others.

I’ve finally got some progression on ovulation tests. I seem to ovulate really late in my cycle. Currently day 21

I’m out, period arrived this morning. Annoyingly next fertile window is likely to be when DP is away on a stag do 😭 but cycle is up the spout at the moment so who knows?!

Sorry to hear this :( its a kick in the stomach isnt it! My period has just finished so ill be doing ovulation tests maybe towards the end of the week - My cycle is around 35 - 41 days so i cant just leave it to chance :(

My AF come on first cycle back 😔 onto second cycle. I’m CD6 today and my fertile window is showing from Friday onwards. This will be for a January babaa.

Im loving that I’ve got other woman in their 40s to chat to.
