Hi all ☺️ I am now starting Cycle 6 TTC baby number one. I know some of us on January thread said it would be good to set up a Feb thread so thought i’d start it.

I should be ovulating around 17-18th so will be testing on 1st Feb!

Thank you for the info. I've got a condition which means we need loads of lube. Probably can't have too much hope for this month either if normal lube is so bad! I'll get some for next month I suppose.

@Matilda, there's no harm in pushing back and advocating for yourself. You've got nothing to lose!

Rightly annoyed! That doesn’t sound like they’ve really listened to you. I’d definitely go back and say what you’ve said here to them. Maybe also tell them (/exaggerate a little?!) how long it took to conceive DS?

I think I'm around CD14 and either ovulating today or tomorrow. Been going for it most days anyway for the last week but this is the first month I've done temping and ovulation sticks as we've been "seeing what happens" with no contraception for a while to no avail (although not particularly trying hard so I'm not counting it). I'm 31 and this will be baby number 1. We've been ready to try for a while but life has got in the way but we're really hopeful this year and have a nice open calendar to see what happens and I just feel really positive.

I had a peak I think yesterday morning so hoping that my extra January efforts pay off and AF due 5th Feb so going to aim to hold out with the testing until then and just relax for a bit after this week (yeah I know, we'll see ).

Technically if I include the MC then it was a year TBF!
I've gone back and said I want a blood test, no response as yet. I said I'd like a discussion with someone too but just a form!

@Kateb149 yes ok I think! I'm yet to see a temp change though but going with it. I feel like I'm doing some sort of science experiment. All kind of fun for now but I can imagine wears thin after a few months.

Hey, joining from the January threads, TTC #1 3rd cycle. AF arrived this morning. I don’t know if it’s a blessing or a curse but the last two months when I was trying I had strong period like cramps really quickly, about 2 DPO. It’s good in a way because it means I know early on that I’m not pregnant but also a bit sad because I don’t really get those days of hope in between.

Morning all, I’m cycle day 9 today but yesterday I had brown blood a few times when I wiped. I know this is old blood but will it affect my ovulation? Thanks

I am in absolute shock. I don't know how I'm going to wait until 5pm when my husband gets home

It is a bit like a science experiment and I can confirm it does get a bit tiring 😅 just try not to read too much into it and you’ll be fine x

Hi everyone, AF arrived today so coming over from the January thread. This will be 5th cycle for me measuring LH but just ordered a BBT thermometer 🤞

1DPO today so TWW has started. I’m interested to see what my PMS symptoms are like this month if I don’t get my BFP as i’ve been eating better and doing exercise since the start of Jan and taking different supplements too… hopefully this all helps with TTC as well 🤞

Felt this ‘warm’ feeling in my uterus today as if it was hot but the rest of me was cold. I know that sounds absolutely bonkers and it’s way too early to symptom spot but just thought it was weird 😂 hope everyone is getting on okay!

TTC makes you sooo aware of your body i think! Hope TWW flies by for you, are you an early tester or will you wait ? X

Guys does anyone have any words of wisdom about spas in the tww?
Hubbys bday and I booked us a spa day on Saturday. Completely not thinking, I haven't ovulated yet but expect to in the next few days and I know heat - hot baths, jacuzzi's etc aren't good for fertilization and isn't good for sperm either 🤷🏻‍♀️
Don't know what to do, I've already paid quite a bit, if I'm just out again to is month will be all for nothing if I miss out. Bit also don't want to lower my chances and then be thinking 'what if'

Enjoy the spa and BD, you definitely still have a high chance of concieving!💕
