Hi all ☺️ I am now starting Cycle 6 TTC baby number one. I know some of us on January thread said it would be good to set up a Feb thread so thought i’d start it.

I should be ovulating around 17-18th so will be testing on 1st Feb!

@Kateb149 are you able to share the podcasts you recommended? I’ve tried going through the chats, but I can’t find them 🙏🏻

I’m CD9 today and I can’t decide whether to start testing today or not. I’ve ovulated CD16 the last few cycles, but I like to see LH progression (although the stick will basically be white today I’m sure 🤣)

I find OPKs so confusing but i do remember reading on Dr Google that some people get a first peak and then a second? But i dont know if that means you ovulate after first peak or second! it seems like not an exact science… xx

I've been told pregnancy symptoms are impossible before 6DpO and implantation.
I'm 7DPO and went for my progesterone tests, now I'm obsessively checking the NhS app for my results 🙈😂
I'm going to sound right a right weirdo here, but I really enjoyed going into the hospital this morning, I used to hate them but the thought of of going there for a positive reason - baby scans etc is exciting! And whereas a blood test isn't nice, at least it means I am getting some answers and progressing somewhat 🤷🏻‍♀️

Haha yeah I’ve tried googling it and it says first, too. God knows, we’ll just keep DTD and hope for the best coverage and keep doing the OPK’s. Had EWCM for the last few days, which I don’t always get so hoping it’s a good sign. I’m a bit of a control freak so I like to know exactly where I’m at 😂 x

Completely understand your feeling about going for the checks. I’m exactly the same when I’ve been going to my fertility tests recently. It’s nice to know that you’re on the path to hopefully going there for scans soon 😊

ahh few of us same cycle dates atm then, ill probably try and hold a wee to test again this evening because the poas addiction unleashed now this stage of cycle 🤣

I really hate this part of the cycle (second half of tww) it is like you become a toilet paper detective, checking after every wee!!

AF due for me today (cd28) and no signs yet. When would you guys test? And does anyone know if it had to be FMU really? My son won’t be apart from me in the morning at the moment and insists on sitting on my knee while I wee first thing 😂 so it’s a bit tricky!

I did a frer on Friday and it was stark white but it was a middle of the day wee with a test that was a year out of date 😂😂😂 so not sure why I even bothered

Omg i am same loosing my mind wondering if i always have certain symptoms or whether its different, im actually going to write a note on my phone to remind myself next cycle if no bfp this time!!

With all of my pregnancies (2 successful, 1 not), I never used FMU. Pregnancy 1 I tested a few days after AF was due mid-afternoon (can't remember exactly as was 12 years ago now!), pregnancy 2 I tested on the day AF was due around lunch time using a frer and it was light but definitely a line. Tested again 4 days later with a cheapy Asda one and it was 100% positive. Pregnancy 3, I tested around 7 days after AF was due as I genuinely didn't think I was pregnant, and that was around 5/6pm. If you're due today then you're not testing early, just try again in a few days if nothing appears 😊

@Floralcat its torture isnt it!? What dpo are you? Well if nothing comes of anything this month I’m officially sectioning my self as I feel I’m loosing the plot! 😳😂 the symptoms feel sooo real but then I’m seconding guessing myself if I’m making myself feel this way longing for a positive! But saying that there is no ignoring this shooty boob pain! 😂 but feel 6dpo is way too early for any symptoms? But I might be more 8dpo? But that’s still very early…. Not too sure may cave and test tomorrow

Hiya, of course! Sorry I should have really said which ones they were 😅 it’s the ‘Don’t Tell Me to Relax - A Fertility Podcast’ and the episodes I found most helpful were -

Periods - S1 E3
Luteal phase/progesterone - S1 E5
Tracking cycle - S1 E6

Someone also recommended the Infertility Sisters which have some good episodes too ☺️

The week after AF does drag on so I feel your pain 😅 maybe wait until CD11 then you’ve saved a couple of tests at least?

@Mumzydarling12 10dpo for me , i’ve had same as you though sore boobs almost straight after ovulation and worse each day. Cramps 8/9dpo but nothing today and weeing a lot but im really sure i get same symptoms normally 🤣 when was pregnant with my 1st i was completely unaware pregnant until 7-8 days after period due which i try and remember when im over thinking every little symptom, i wouldnt even notice if wasnt TCC. When will you start testing? Xx

it’s so hard not to nitpick at every single symptom you get during 2ww. Ive had a banging headache all day and ive been in and out of sleep today, actually took today off as annual because I couldn’t face work. But, it is the season for cold/flu😂

@Floralcat I know it drives me mad! I tell myself I’m soooo going to be chilled out this month no testing early, go with the flow etc…. Then each month when TWW arrives I turn back into obsessive mode! 🤦‍♀️😂 urghhh this week is going to drag! My AF is due on the 11th…. I have got some early at home tests so might start testing in a couple of days 5/6th and see if I get any faint lines? 🤔 or perhaps I should waiting until the weekend?? Arrgggghhhh I don’t know!!?? 😂😂what about you? Have you tested early at all yet?

Just got some pink spotting in my underwear, maybe it's implantation? Or is it to early? 6 DPO

AF for me is due the 12th and I'm going to try and wait until the weekend to test, preferably Sunday... but we'll see how I hold up with that.

I had cramping this morning but it felt more digestion related than implantation related. I remember in my last pregnancy being super certain that it was implantation when I felt it!

@carolinep3 You're 7 DPO right? You're not out 🥹❤️ We're gonna get our BFP this cycle 👏🏼 ChatGPT said my pink spotting could be hormones as it would be early for implantation bleeding 😂 We'll find out

Yeh 7dpo. Technically implantation could have started yesterday for either of us.
I've got a feeling this is going to be a really hard month if I am out. Will definitely hit hard as I was so positive, felt like ovulated a bit later and this egg was ripe for the taking 🤷🏻‍♀️

@carolinep3 Your feelings are so valid and I can relate to the optimism that came after ovulation! I saw a girl on TikTok that said "I wish I could go back and tell myself that I was going to get pregnant two cycles later when I looked at my BFN" and I think it was a cute way of thinking. We don't know when we're gonna get our BFP but it's going to come at the perfect time ❤️ Maybe this is the cycle! Or maybe it's the next one, but every cycle is a month closer to the BFP🥰

I've finally read through - sorry to hear about various AFs and confusion! This whole TTC business is one big mind fuck!

I think I'm about to enter the TWW. I say think, because even though I got a solid smiley yesterday evening, I also got one this morning (separate testing stick), but I've also just tested again and found a much darker test line. So I'm not really sure what's going on. Can't DTD tonight because both of us feel very sick, but we did it last night and hopefully we'll feel better tomorrow night and give ourselves one final shot...
