Hi all ☺️ I am now starting Cycle 6 TTC baby number one. I know some of us on January thread said it would be good to set up a Feb thread so thought i’d start it.

I should be ovulating around 17-18th so will be testing on 1st Feb!

99.9% sure it’s not implantation unfortunately. I did a test when I was late and stark white. We also didn’t cover bases after ovulation, so if I ovulated a few days later than expected then there’s basically no chance.
It’s so confusing, I was so relieved when I thought it finally came. Hoping it gets heavier today 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Morning ☺️ welcome to the Feb group! If it doesn’t seem like your normal AF maybe just monitor it over the next day or two? It seems odd that it’s so late!

Fingers crossed for you, I was 4 days late this month but did come on as normal. Hope it all sorts itself out so you have a bit more clarity about this cycle.

I'm on CD5 now and for some reason starting to feel a bit worried about having sex enough this month 😅. My partner is away for 2 days Just before I'm supposed to ovulate.

Mine was the same last cycle, 4 days late.. it was like my body was playing mind games!

CD10 today, my husband is working away for the next 4 weeks from 27th. Really hoping I ovulate before then but I’m usually late so I’m probably out this month before we even start 🤦🏻‍♀️.

Hi all, hopping over from the Jan thread. Thought I had a faint line at 14dpo but AF is now here! Six days late too so I was wondering what on earth was going on. Sort of relieved I now know what’s what.
Anyway, onto cycle 2 for #2. Wishing you all the best of luck this month!

Ahhh yeah i dont think id get a moment to do a test at work properly 🤣 okay i think ill do that then stick to middayish until predicted ovulation close then up to 2x

Just had my first fertility appointment, not referred or anything just private as I was having some acupuncture. Was really eye opening! She definitely knew her stuff.
She thinks I may have been carrying round a uterine infection for years, test is going to take a good few weeks to do and then test but hopefully some answers!

It is so hard sometimes isn’t it 😅 I have everything crossed for you this cycle 🤞

My LH was still low at 0.45 yesterday at CD14 but it’s spiked today at 0.83. It will either go up more this afternoon and i’ll get my peak or it’s just teasing me and it’ll be tomorrow 😅

Hey ladies, hope your all well!? I’m on CD7 now and finally AF has stopped today after my CP this month 😔 ovulation predicted in 10 days time and fertile window in 5 days… here crossing my fingers for our 9th cycle TTC. Just started taking some supplements aswell this month. Wish everyone lots of BFP this month! ☺️x

AF seems to be going normal now after the weird spotting, thank god.

@carolinep3 that’s great your fertility appointment went well. Did they say what the treatment could be?

I was referred to fertility back in August after ttc for around 2 years (I do have one healthy DD).
Had my initial consultant appointment where it was decided I’d be put on letrozole. Still waiting for my next appointment and further tests before it can be given so was contemplating going private. I’m just not very patient 😂

Is ovulation always 24 hours after peak CB ovulation test reading? I was under that impression but then googling today saw 16 hours can be possible ?

Coming over from the January thread. TTC #2 cycle 2.
Last period was 3rd Dec, but BFNs.
Came off the pill in Nov, so 1st period after DS was born. Planning to see the GP to see if this is normal.

this is my first time trying Letrozole. Had 2 clomid cycles last year but they didn’t work and lining was too thin with it. Apparently Letrozole is better for that . I had a scan day 10 with 2 follicles 16 and 18 mm and then had peak opk day 11 late in the evening currently cd 13. Have another scan booked for cd 17

I’m also trying to think back to when I came off the pill a few years ago, I definitely had some weird symptoms (hot flushes/tiredness/late AF) and went to the GP. I think they did some blood tests for thyroid and something else and testing for UTI/thrush/STIs just to cover all bases. They didn’t find anything but it was helpful to know and they definitely listened to my concerns!

@Miffy1994 it's really odd, I was on and off the pill before S for 20 years, periods came back normal straight away! But since having him this has happened!
Let's hope Feb is our month, can't be April this year!
I've changed docs and need a new patient check anyway so might be good to get that done!

How are you finding letrozole? My consultant is prescribing it for me once my final tests and hycosy have been done (haven’t tried clomid or anything prior). I’ve heard the side effects can be quite intense?

I had zero side effects on clomid (one cycle end of 2023 and 2 cycles last year ) but with Letrozole it’s been intense ! I was too hot from night 2 of taking it, felt dizzy on day 2 and 3 and had headaches. Then on cd 10, 11 and 12 my ovaries have been SO painful. I also feel really emotional although i think it’s out of my system but I assume it’s changed other hormone levels so that’s why I feel like this ! My lining is a good thickness and with clomid it was too thin, I’m just hoping this might be what works and the way I feel I do feel like it’s having more of an effect on me

ouchhhh that doesn’t sound enjoyable! On the plus side if the side effects are high then hopefully means it’s doing its job for you. Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻🤞🏻.

I was surprised he didn’t want to give me clomid first as apparently they usually start with that? Just said letrozole is far better for women with my symptoms (PCOS and thyroid issues) so going straight to that. Definitely not complaining though 😊

im definitely trying to tell myself that the side effects must mean it’s working ! It’s hard though after this long to even imagine a positive test I think I’d be in absolute shock !!!

3.5 years so a long time and apparently there’s nothing wrong with either of us 🥴

I always get confused about this too! I have read after getting peak you can ovulate anywhere between 8-20 hours after… but the LH surge (when it starts to really increase) indicates you’ll ovulate in the next 1-2 days?

Does anyone else have any insight on this?
