Hi all ☺️ I am now starting Cycle 6 TTC baby number one. I know some of us on January thread said it would be good to set up a Feb thread so thought i’d start it. I should be ovulating around 17-18th so will be testing on 1st Feb!

Hi all! I was on the January thread but avoided this one to try and stop my whole month being consumed with TTC (not that it worked).

Sorry to see so many confusing cycles! Such a mindfuck.

I'm 12dpo, with AF due on Tuesday. I took a test at 10dpo and saw a really really really faint colourless line so decided it must be an indent/evap/wishful thinking. Now 12dpo I took another test and there's another faint line, slightly more visible. It's too faint to show up on a photo (though my phone camera is terrible). How do I know if it's a faint line vs evap?? I know I can wait another day but that's too hard!

Welcome to the thread ☺️ could I ask which tests you’re using? I think if the line is getting darker that is a good sign! Sorry I haven’t got much advice on evap vs. BFPs but I think the line should have some colour?

Sorry to hear you still haven’t found your peak. It might be you have a rapid surge and it has already been or is still coming… if you can DTD every few days i’m sure that will cover you anyway but I know what it feels like when you don’t want the month to be written off x

Yes maybe I am on cd13 so perhaps there is still time yet (I have 28/9 day cycles)
Had a chat with my DH which helped me calm down and we are going to DTD tonight so that might give us more of a shot.

Hello I'm new to this..
I'm currently TTC #4, I have 3 children already 7-9-10.
Since our youngest wev had 1 miscarriage and a medical termination at 15 weeks as at 12week scan we was told baby wasn't developing properly and wouldn't last long after birth if we went full term.
So wev been TTC since 2022 now .. with no luck 😞
I'm looking to see if anyone has experienced something I am currently going through. My periods are always regular and always on time.
My last start date for period was 11/01/25 and they always last 2-3 days.
My highest peak for ovulation was 24/01/25
I am currently 9po ( I think ) and I started a heavy bleeding on 29/1/25 and it's completely stopped. Iv had serious back pain and period type pains. My periods isn't due untill 8/02/25 .. so this is early... I'm so confused as never experienced anything like this before. ( EVER )
I visited the doctor yesterday she did a test which was negative, expected as early. But I'm confused with the heavy bleeding. Has anyone had this before and gone on to be pregnant. Or is this possible a one of chance of having 2 period in one month. I'm told to repeat in a week with a test. And bloods are booked for 12/02/25 ...
Is heavy bleeding not normal for implantion. ?
I have family history or twins and triplets also. Not sure if this could be implantion of anything with multiple?

I’m glad your chat with DH helped, it’s nice when they show support and help you when you’re feeling the pressure ☺️ it might be you get your peak over the next few days so i’d say keep testing for now just in case x

So sorry, it must be such a confusing time for you! I haven’t got any advice on the heavy bleeding but it’s good you have been to the doctors. Our bodies are so cruel sometimes and can give us such mixed messages so it is impossible to say for certain what has caused the bleeding, but I’d test again in a few days if you think it might be implantation x

Decided to test today because I have couldn't help myself, 9dpo and AF not due until Saturday, stark negative 😂

@confusedmum25 i was just going to message to see if youd held out or not , im still stark white as well 9dpo today. Feel like tomorrow is first ‘ real’ test i might do a FRER as well as a cheapie . What tests are you using? Ive changed to the premom ones this month as i think i kept getting false postives on the amazon one step ones past few cycles 🤷🏻‍♀️x

Hi, heavy bleeding doesn't sound like implantation, but I'm no expert. I have twin nephew's and triplet nieces and haven't heard of that being linked.

She is like a fertility detective and very good, she sometimes answers q's or will hold online appointments I think?

It was heavy for like 2 half days and today it's just a little brown here n their 🤎 I'm so confused with the bleed as iv never experienced anything like this.

My aunties who had twins and triplets said they experienced this. But I'm just so not hopeful ( as of every month of TTC 😩

Doctors booked a blood test but that's next week 12.02.25 and I'm to do HCG end of the week to see anything pops up before the bloods.

I do track my periods and always on time always return to normal after having my 3 children ect.

Im on the flo app which predicts the ovulation day. This is something I do get confused with is do you count you dpo of the highest day of predicted ovulation or is it the days after how it shows on flo app when the fertile window ends ?

Ahh crossing my fingers for you the no pre AF signs is a sign!!

i may just have had a dodgy batch of the one step ones or a couple of very short lived CPs as they were completely accurate for my dd and my CP ending at 5 weeks xx

@Kateb149 sorry to hear about the BFN but strange AF hasn't showed up.
So I've still had no sign of peak either last night or this morning. We didn't DTD last night as we're just exhausted after the day. Feeling a bit low this morning worrying I've missed it (not sure if tests can sometimes not detect it?) or not going to ovulate at all. Sort of discounting this month now in my head. Though last month we DTD every other day for about 10 days and that didn't work either so who knows!

What day did you start testing your LH? I usually peak late (16-19) so didn’t test until day 13 and I’ve continued testing but not found a peak…
Ive either not ovulated this month or just not caught it. I had EWCM from day 13.

AF is due 07/02 so I’ll just wait and see what happens. I too DTD a lot last cycle and didn’t get pregnant.

First month using clear blue advanced OPKs and got my flashing smiley today, it's a day earlier than my predicted fertile window on the Premom app which I though was interesting

Hey everyone, please can I jump on this thread?

Congratulations to all the positives so far, and condolences to the very sad losses

TTC #3, CD12 and predicted ovulation today. DP has been away with work this weekend but DTD a fair few times (sorry if TMI 😅) Thursday and Friday so not sure if we've done enough.

I'm tracking using the Flo app and have been inputting my cycles since September. AF is apparently due 17th Feb but hopefully I don't see her!

Keeping my fingers crossed for us all!

I only have cheapies becuase if i get a 'proper' one i POS too early and waste it. but then if i get a BFP on a cheapie i end up desperate to have a proper one to wee on!!!

Im 90% sure I am out this week unless ovulated sooner then i thought but still hoping. Also is LOADS of cleary white, kinda like EWCM but not as sticky but neither is it watery, normal in the tww? You would have thought I would have known this myself as someone with periods for nearly 2 decades but my mind has gone blank. I keep hoping its a symptom!!

Yes normal I believe.
I get this and I've been looking back on my charts from my other pregnancies and I did then too.

AF has arrived with a vengeance today! Really heavy and lots of cramps. So i’ll be focusing on next fertile period which will be around Valentine’s. Half of me is glad though as i’ve slightly extended my luteal phase this month and it’s heavier than usual which is what I wanted.

How are you getting on? ❤️ xx

Ah you’ve loads of time. I’m CD25 and still no sign of it (unless I missed it on the tests).

Ive used those before, they’re really good. Late ovulation is considered later than day 21… I’ve never peaked that late before so I recon my AF will arrive on time. But my body sometimes likes to remind me that I’m not in control 😂.
