Hi all ☺️ I am now starting Cycle 6 TTC baby number one. I know some of us on January thread said it would be good to set up a Feb thread so thought i’d start it.

I should be ovulating around 17-18th so will be testing on 1st Feb!

I hope so xx

Haha, I'm 2dpo and my boobs are so sore - they're never usually this sore so soon after ovulating and I'm like... is this it?! Even though I know rationally it's unlikely!

Il see how it goes, I never brown spot, normally af comes in full force, my body seems out of whack this month but I guess I’m out, try again next month xx

I just know it’s going to be af, just as I started getting my hopes up, im also a day late, told myself I wouldn’t be upset but of course I am xx

@Mummy1502 sending big hugs…. Although you’re not totally out until AF arrives! Hold on to a little bit of hope that it could be implantation bleeding?? Either way this group will be with you all the way. It’s such a rollercoaster of emotions and nice to have people you can talk to. crossing my fingers for you x

It is upsetting! As much as we tell ourselves otherwise we can't control how we feel! It's also so hard when things are a bit unusual as it's only natural to get hopes up. I hope that if AF is coming, it comes quickly so you're not left waiting. Although really I hope your spotting is implantation and you do get your BFP!

It’s really strange, not sure if you’ve read any of my comments further back so il just briefly tell you what’s happened this month, I went for a follow up scan at the miscarriage clinic last Monday (cycle day 17) she said I hadn’t ovulated yet and expected me to ovulate in the next day or 2 (strange for me, normally ovulate cd 11) so that would take me to ovulating either cd 18 or 19, today I’m cycle day 26 (one day late as my usual cycles are 25 days) and ive had a lot of cramping the last few days on and off which I don’t usually get before my period, sore boobs (don’t get that every month but does happen) been feeling sick and tired on and off, however what I’m more confused about is she told me it was my left ovary that was about to ovulate but all the cramping I’m having is in my right side, now im confused as if I ovulated 6 days late surely my period would be 6 days late? Or is this not the way it works lol, unless she’s just not very good at her job and I had already ovulated? So confusing xx

Yes I think if you ovulated 6 days late then your period would be 6 days late, but I do think that implantation spotting can happen any time between a week and two weeks post ovulation? I also had cramping around implantation during my first pregnancy so I definitely don't think you're out just yet!xx

That gives me a bit of hope, I imagine they know what they are doing and seeing on the scans, will keep you updated xx

That’s also makes sense as if what they are saying on the scans was right then I would be 6/7 dpo today xx

Oh no 😕 that’s not good. If it’s not normal for you could it be implantation spotting? You will have to see how long it lasts. I imagine it’s just added to the confusion for you - what a pain!

Well I’ve had a bath, put and pad in and it’s stopped, too soon to tell, will see how it goes the rest of evening and through the night, it was only when I wiped xx

@Mummy1502 what DPO are you? I've had implantation spotting before. I've also have spotting quite a few days away from AF.

Personally i’d say you got your peak on 26/1 because the line looks quite a bit darker than on 25/1 but I’m not an expert! I don’t know whether CB or Premom is more reliable to be honest… 🤔

Going by scan I’m either 7/8 dpo, 1 day late for period, however I ovulated 6 days late so assumed my period would be 6 days late, cycle day 26 (cycles are normally 25 days) usually ovulate cd 11, this month ovulated cd 18 or 19, very odd xx

I’m glad you’re looking after yourself and glad it’s stopped ❤️ it sounds like a bit of spotting which can be for so many reasons! Let us know how you are later this evening/in the morning xx

@Mummy1502 in my non expert opinion this what I've learnt over the years.
If you are only 7dpo ish, it could easily be implantation spotting, I had it around then for a day or two, really light, just in tissue when wiped, then stopped.
My fertility expert said said it isn't ideal to ovulate early in the cycle, cd11 would be early so it is actually a good thing it has been later for you, the egg has longer to mature.
Each time I have actual conceived it has been cd17-19.
Ovulating early can be a sign of body depletion, like lacking in nutrients etc apparently.
So I would say it was a good thing!
