Hi all ☺️ I am now starting Cycle 6 TTC baby number one. I know some of us on January thread said it would be good to set up a Feb thread so thought i’d start it.

I should be ovulating around 17-18th so will be testing on 1st Feb!

Hi everyone! I've just been reading through this thread and it's made me feel so seen! I'm new to TTC and all the terms so I apologise if I get them wrong, haha, but I'm 2DPO on my second cycle of TTC and already impatient. (And I'm also symptom checking even though I know it's basically impossible to get symptoms this early!!!) My partner is super laid back and a bit bemused by my TTC chat so I thought I'd find a forum so I don't have to hold myself back!

My iron tablets still aren't here for my low ferritin and I found myself eating a bag of spinach with dinner last night trying to get my iron up 🙈 it is literally ridiculous what we do ttc!
I only have 2 cheapie tests from homebargains I'm going to be saving them for at least 10dpo I think!

A whole bag of spinach - that's the dictionary definition of 'above and beyond' 😂

Welcome! Yes my husband is so calm and level-headed about TTC (which is great, I wish I could be more like that!) but it’s nice to be in a group who understand all the waiting, tracking, highs and lows!

AF not due until next Tuesday or Wednesday but fighting the urge to test because I know there is no point

My boobs are absolutely killing this morning which is making me excited but my boobs always hurt in the run up to AF so I shouldn't be excited..

Good luck 🤞🏼 when are you going to test? AF still hasn’t arrived for me but think I may have ovulated late this month so expecting it to be a few days late xx

I think you’re right, your best chance is testing tomorrow with FMU i guess xx

It’s always worth a try tomorrow just in case. If you ovulated after your appointment when the nurse said you were about to ovulate, do you know how many DPO you would be? Sorry I know it might be difficult to work out! Xx

Fine to be fair, im trying to keep positive frame of mind and think if this isn’t the month than ive done positive things taking my vitamins loosing some weight etc! will probably cave and test 7dpo on friday even though know will be negative whatever at that point i just need to do something hahaha! Hope you are doing okay as well ❤️❤️

Yes so I worked that out by the Tuesday or the Wednesday, I had my appointment on the Monday she said I was about to ovulate, so if I go from Tuesday it would be 9dpo tomorrow and from Wednesday would be 8dpo tomorrow, so I’m feeling like it could still be a while xx

Ok I got my smiley on the clear blue on the 25th, and my positive on the Premom on the 26th. Which one is better to take notice of?

That’s really good and you’ve got the right mindset! I’ve definitely had an easier luteal phase than normal so even if I don’t get my BFP i’m still pleased i’m making positive changes. Do you take your own vitamins or a set prenatal one?

Haha honestly i’ve done that every cycle until now 😅 it feels impossible not to test early! Really coldy today but feel much better than yesterday so hoping that it won’t take me long to get over whatever bug i’ve got🤞

Oh okay, well if you’ve been cramping the last few days something must be going on so lets hope it’s implantation and the HCG has risen for you enough tomorrow 🤞🤞🤞 xx

When I’ve used CB and the premom strips on the same month, I usually get a smiley face on my premom ‘peak’ day and then a smiley on ‘ovulation’ day once my peak starts to go down, so that’s a bit confusing… was your premom LH lower on 25th?

Hi all, plonking myself here if that's ok. TTC #2, on cycle 6 I think and getting a bit anxious as I'm 40. Got flu on Boxing day and missed January's ovulation I think, I'm now cd37 (usually between 25-28 days) so I'm hoping that AF shows asap so we can crack on! Considering SMEP this month but also I'm old and tired so we'll see 🤣

ive just googled to see what smep is and im the same defo dont have stamina for that right now with a toddler and late 30s 🤣
