I am now 37 and have one beautiful 10yrs old boy, my partner has 2 boys 9 & 13yrs.

I bought the Hertility kit online, not yet opened it… I was going to give this cycle my last attempt before investigating 🙃

We got pregnant a year ago but due to personal circumstances we both decided to not go ahead, this I carry so much guilt over 🪃

Now we are both ready and settled in our careers and home but now it has taken nearly 6/7cycles.

today I got my 1st + ovulation test, so beginning our January TWW.

what is everyone else’s story 🌟

Kind of mid-cycle I think. And if you have had a MC recently you need to let 3 months pass I think (I got turned away in May because of that).

FlyHighSky72 · 16/06/2025 11:29

@curliegirlieok thanks - no MC here

curliegirlie · 16/06/2025 13:12

Cool, I didn’t mean that specifically for you, just putting the info out there. As I guess I’d always assumed a smear whilst pregnant was a no-no because it was dangerous for the foetus but it’s actually because the pregnancy hormones etc can interfere with the results

Mummysparrow · 26/06/2025 08:13

How is everyone? I am cd9 and back from holiday and I have been having on off light cramps for a few days so not sure what that's about. I am about to try a daye diagnostic tampon to see if that picks up and then depending on how that goes I may do the fertilysis microbiome tests but that's pricey and can only do it when on my period.

SCK2024 · 26/06/2025 11:04

Hey 😊
I am back AGAIN!

Currently CD 14

Peak OPK yday but we didn’t BD 😖 however come afternoon numbers lowered quickly.

But we did BD the night before & 2/3 days prior.

REALLY hoping it was enough, not feeling as though it was 😞😓

Hi everyone, can anyone out there help us make sense of this part of the semen analysis results before our appointment?

We know that the results overall are abnormal but just struggling with this part xx

SCK2024 · 28/06/2025 09:50

@ByJollyZebra I’m sorry .. I haven’t a clue!
my OH handed in his sample in beginning of June, it got rejected because his GP didn’t give him the form to go with it! 😤 So now next date is September!!!

Try putting a post on premom app, they are very active on there, I am certain you will get answers.

where is everyone else up to? What DPO are we on? I am 2DPO

Oh no @SCK2024! Thats so frustrating!

I think we've worked out that this part is okay. Morphology is low though, 2%, and should be at least 4%. We will know more when we've seen the Dr.

How are you feeling? I'm 1dpo, actually tracked this month. Feeling pretty hopeless after reading through lots of info last night but you never know I suppose. It could still happen, trying not to stress too much until we've spoken to the Dr x

SCK2024 · 28/06/2025 17:43

Yay! Twinning this cycle!
🫶🏼

Dont stress yourself out, he can focus on his diet and eat exercise or any vitamins could help him better the stats maybe?

have all your tests come back okay?

Did you get your fertile week pretty covered?

x

OP posts:
Mummysparrow · 28/06/2025 17:48

I am cd11 and some ewcm yesterday which was earlier than expected so I am waiting to see if LH is going to peak early too. Hubby was unable to finish last night so yet to bd in my fertile window 😬

ByJollyZebra · 29/06/2025 08:08

@SCK2024 Keeping everything crossed for us all ♥️

Yeah we did cover the fertile week so just got to try and find a way to keep my brain occupied for the next two weeks! You'd think we be used to that at this point!

We are hoping that a few tweeks to our lifestyle might make a difference but we're not super unhealthy anyway. The Dr's will hopefully be able to suggest something for us. My tests so far have only been hormones, they're okay, just keeping an eye on Prolactin levels

Hope you get your peak soon mummysparrow x

SCK2024 · 29/06/2025 08:49

@Mummysparrow Try & BD today and tomorrow running up to your peak 🤞🏼

@ByJollyZebra I have my hycosy on the 10th InTime’s it for a few days after AF if AF arrives.

I have more sensitive/little bit sore nipples today, I wouldn’t have a clue if you can get symptoms so early on or not?

DPO3

Morning ladies. Joining the group I am 39 with 2DC 3yrs and 10months old.
Had DS1 at 34 straight away. DS2 after 3 cycles and we are trying earlier due to my age.

I am back on hugh dose Vit D, High dose Vit C, Folic acid and Ubiquinoa.
Going to start BBT and OPKS next cycle. I remembered on my 3 days ago and I am on CD18 so but late. Even with irregular cycles.

Wish all the best of luck to you all

Mismatc · 29/06/2025 19:26

I’m 4dpo and same situation that we only got to BD 3 days before O. So sad but it’s not impossible

My DH has morphology of 1.4 and we got pregnant in 3 cycles with my last baby. Been “trying” for 16 months this time but I’ve been postnatal and breastfeeding. I’ve had quite a few cycles now but the are not normal for me yet. I’m thinking of fully weaning but I just can’t bring myself to do it

SCK2024 · 01/07/2025 18:17

Only DPO5 today but felt low mid dull ache all day and emotional.

OP posts:
Mummysparrow · 01/07/2025 18:24

Ovulating today for me so starting the 2ww tomorrow.
Had my results from day which have suggested I need some more probiotics so I will get on that but no ureaplasma which is good

SCK2024 · 01/07/2025 18:55

I started folic acid this cycle also, but I may look into others and also request a private amh test x
hycosy next week if AF doesn’t show 🤞🏼

Mummysparrow · 01/07/2025 21:11

@SCK2024recommend either hertility or thriva for AMH checks. I have a discount code for thriva if you wanted it.
I am thinking of doing some tests with fertilysis if I don't get a positive test by the end of next week

Thankyou that would be amazing!
I paid for Hertility once but returned it, can’t remember why I did though?
how much is it on thriva?

I feel different this cycle
Dpo 6 today.
I hope my mind isn’t playing tricks on me!!
Last day or two I’ve felt a dull full feeling, not bloated, a little back ache yday evening too.

its ridiculous… but I do have frers spare at home 🤦🏻‍♀️ also have easy at home being delivered today at some point.
AF due in 7 days … should I shouldn’t I? Xx

OP posts:
Mummysparrow · 02/07/2025 07:54

@SCK2024 I think I paid about £75 with thriva for the AMH test. I had a couple of other things checked at the same time. It says about signing up to à subscription but you can cancel it easily after the test.
thriva.co/i/M3V4ACM7JE8 this code will give you £30 off.
I hate the first week of the wait as I get symptoms but they never lead to anything 😞

SCK2024 · 02/07/2025 08:01

Thankyou!
I’ll give that a try if I’m not lucky this cycle 🫶🏼
I do too! I have a girls brunch this weekend and Oasis the weekend after 🫠🫠 least I’ll be distracted.

Do you have any symptoms currently?
We have been trying just over a year 🤦🏻‍♀️ it’s tough!
we conceived when we wasn’t planning and sadly decided differently at the time … it feels like karma 😓

OP posts:
curliegirlie · 02/07/2025 10:31

@SCK2024it’s not karma. Different actions feel right (or are important) at different times - you need to give yourself a break 🫂 12 months always feels like a shitty milestone but just because it hasn’t happened yet doesn’t mean it can’t still happen naturally. My TTC stints were 16 months, 12 months, 3 years, and this last one after my last MC was just 3 months. You never know what’s around the corner. It’s great that you’re plugged into the NHS fertility investigations. This time round I also took Pregnacare Conception Max (the ones where you take 2 of the green tablets and an Omega 3 round one), which contains DHA, inositol, and CoQ10, which are meant to be good for us oldies!

Mummysparrow · 02/07/2025 10:37

@SCK2024ohbthays good you have distractions. It is needed isn't it. Annoyingly I am on our of hours with work until next Tuesday so I can't really book anything just in case I get a call.
I discard any symptoms I get the first 7dpo as I have had strong symptoms before and they disappeared at 7dpo and got a BFN so I try to only symptom spot after 7dpo.
This is month 13 after loss for me so I feel you, I really do. It's so hard. My GP has sent off my fertility clinic referral and when the clinic receives the letter I am going to call them and go private. This means I will get an appointment in 2 to 3 weeks rather than in 6 months time
