35yrs + and trying ✨🫶🏼

I am now 37 and have one beautiful 10yrs old boy, my partner has 2 boys 9 & 13yrs.

I bought the Hertility kit online, not yet opened it… I was going to give this cycle my last attempt before investigating 🙃

We got pregnant a year ago but due to personal circumstances we both decided to not go ahead, this I carry so much guilt over 🪃

Now we are both ready and settled in our careers and home but now it has taken nearly 6/7cycles.

today I got my 1st + ovulation test, so beginning our January TWW.

what is everyone else’s story 🌟

I am 9dpo and not tested yet. I am in Cyprus with just one FRER on me. Not sure whether to test tomorrow morning or wait a few more days. Normally at home I would have tested by now. Only bringing one test on holiday was the best thing I could do

How long are you away?
if another week I’d wait 12 Dpo.
if it’s tomorrow or a few days may as well do the test as you brought it to use it 😄

I had bad tummy ache for 5mins at work lower abdo area then it went?

no signs of AF I just want my baby! 😞😓❤️

@SCK2024 we are here until 22nd so for another 10 days. I have been eating and drinking as normal as I don't want to avoid alcohol etc if I am not even pregnant.
When is your period due?

It was due yesterday always at least 1 day either side.
a little drink won’t hurt, long as your not expecting to get wild drunk 🤪 😂

Ive given up on testing now just waiting for AF XX

@SCK2024 hopefully your period doesn't arrive and you get a BFP.
I really want to find out why all of a sudden I am struggling to conceive but I also wonder if I will never find out. I was considering doing an IUI but I read somewhere that it isn't worth doing if the sperm are good swimmers which my husbands are. I suppose it is because I know the problem is with me and putting the sperm in me near the egg won't fix that.

im trying to decide whether to test tomorrow at 10DPO or wait until 12dpo on Sunday? My period is due on the 18th June and I missed my peak ovulation this month so it’s a bit of an estimate - what would you all do???

Hey @FlyHighSky72 if it’s going to be on your mind anyway, I’d test day 10. Just don’t take it too hard if it’s negative because there’ll still be hope!

I’m on cycle day 3. AF arrived on a ridiculously long flight, adding insult to (metaphorical) injury. Trying to forgot about TTC for a week or so 😂😩

I did it - 10DPO stark white of course! Boooo

I have tested on a FRER but it didn't develop properly and took ages for the control line to develop soust be a faulty test but I am still taking it as a negative test.
@FlyHighSky72 I find cheapies (at least for me) don't show positives until after FRERS and clear blue but I know others swear differently

yeah I have heard they’re less sensitive - I did think about taking a FRER but I don’t want to waste one so early! I think I’ll do an easy at home cheapy and a FRER on Sunday and see what happens! My first and only positive test ever was with my DS at 12 dpo with a FRER

@SCK2024 oh I am sorry to hear this. Be kind to yourself.
Anyone done fertilysis testing? Really tempting to do it but the price hurts my eyes. Plus it needs to be done on your period. My next period is due Wednesday but I will still be in Cyprus so will have to wait another month to do it

So um I have relooked at the FRER and I have a question. Do coloured evap lines happen on FRER? The control line has developed on test but so has a test line. I have 2 clear lines. Me and hubby feel like a trip to a pharmacy is needed. It is like the test took ages to develop as I peed straight on to it rather than dipped it. First picture is an hour ago and the second picture is now

@Mummysparrowthat def looks positive now! Do you have any other tests of any brand in the house? Def dip - peeing on them is always rubbish imo

@FlyHighSky72 I only brought the one test to Cyprus with me to stop me from testing loads 😂
I think we will be going to find a pharmacy as some point in the next day or two. I know it is way out of the time frame but I don't think red dyes are known for evap lines and it also looks positive to me

@FarAwayBirdyeah will test again on Sunday which is 12dpo and then just wait for AF which is due on the 18th - trying not to go mad and test everyday this month as I spent loads of tests last month which was stupid!!

It’s not stupid! It’s understandable. I cringe at the fact I had no tests this month (and was basically stranded on a work trip). All I had on me were LH strips. I got so desperate to test at 11 or 12dpo that I peed on a LH test and frantically googled if it could tell me if I were pregnant. UNHINGED 😂

@FarAwayBirdargh it’s all so frustrating! I’ve avoided testing this morning at 11dpo - yay me 🤣 - really wish I could be one of those people who fall pregnant without trying accidentally

Looks like the FRER was an evap or false positive as I bought a test in Cyprus which claims to be an early testing pregnancy test and it was negative
