35yrs + and trying ✨🫶🏼

I am now 37 and have one beautiful 10yrs old boy, my partner has 2 boys 9 & 13yrs.

I bought the Hertility kit online, not yet opened it… I was going to give this cycle my last attempt before investigating 🙃

We got pregnant a year ago but due to personal circumstances we both decided to not go ahead, this I carry so much guilt over 🪃

Now we are both ready and settled in our careers and home but now it has taken nearly 6/7cycles.

today I got my 1st + ovulation test, so beginning our January TWW.

what is everyone else’s story 🌟

Hey! I know the feeling, it’s horrible isn’t it. Is so common to be trying up to a year though, so bare that in mind before giving yourself a hard time over it all.

I think sometimes the more we try the more it doesn’t happen, suppose it’s because we have it on our mind all the time. Hard to relax and just forget about it and let it happen.

We got our bounce on night before last 😂😂 so due another bounce this evening 😂😂 Trying to do it every other day as don’t want the seem to be too immature 😂😂😂 I’m 11DPO today.

How are you feeling this evening? Anything nice planned this month to take your mind off things? Xx

I’ve been on a late shift today so been SO busy, not long finishing!
my birthday month, so my OH is taking us away for a city breaks somewhere don’t know where, it’s a suprise 🥰🫶🏼
Other than that nothing really, how about you?

Had termination when I was 19 with my current partner (mistake, unplanned). Now 34. We got married two weeks ago and we are now trying for the first time. It’s been a long old wait to get settled and various life factors. Hoping I haven’t left it too late xx

Oh how lovely. Bet you are looking forward to that! Hopefully it will be lovely weather too! We went to London for my 39th.

Nothing new here. Got reflexology tomorrow. Haven’t been in around a month as she was so busy and couldn’t fit me in but she’s given me 2/3 months worth of appointments now so all sorted. Not sure if I’m doing too much with having reflexology every 2 weeks and acupuncture twice a week 🥴🥴 My OPK is getting slightly higher since yesterday so hopefully be ovulating in the next 2/3 days! X

Exciting @PalmTreeAngelunfortunately we had a termination 16 years ago too 😢 but we’ve been lucky to have 2 children since.
Hopefully it will happen for you soon!

Definitely postive thinking, now the evenings are lighter life always seems brighter! Just got to keep having things to look forward to to keep my mind off it all! 😂😂 I’ve just been to the Canaries for my 40th and should book another holiday to keep me busy!! 😆😆

May I add .. also had a term, ages 20 and just under 2 yrs ago, last one regrettable as now we are both trying and it’s been over 1 year, first was with a violent partner and got caught out x

And I know 34 is still young but it doesn’t help that the narrative considers this old in terms of being a mother or trying for a family! I think I’m now considered geriatric if I were pregnant !

OH has his swimmer pot now too 😆🤣 he has a date to hand it into the labs for June though 🫠🫠🫠🫠 nothing earlier which is annoying!!!

He keeps saying there’s nothing wrong with his swimmers 🙃 but I keep telling him things can change you might of had 2 kids last 10yrs ago, but it might not be either of us, but they have to rule it out, not sure he’s mega happy about doing it but he is for me .. he should be saying us 😄🤦🏻‍♀️ x

Listen to yourselves! All I’m saying is it’s really sad that mothers have to make those decisions and I doubt there’s a mother on here who can say it was an easy decision to make! An abortion is a horrendous thing to go through, I feel for anyone who has had go through that and have to make that decision, it’s just a sad thing!! Wow do we really live in a world where we can’t even say it’s sad for an abortion to happen? I’m not judging anyone…

…and to the lady who had cancer, that’s a horrendous thing to happen to you, and I’m positive that having to get a termination was absolutely awful for you. If anyone doesn’t feel that way then I don’t have anything to say to you!
