35yrs + and trying ✨🫶🏼

I am now 37 and have one beautiful 10yrs old boy, my partner has 2 boys 9 & 13yrs.

I bought the Hertility kit online, not yet opened it… I was going to give this cycle my last attempt before investigating 🙃

We got pregnant a year ago but due to personal circumstances we both decided to not go ahead, this I carry so much guilt over 🪃

Now we are both ready and settled in our careers and home but now it has taken nearly 6/7cycles.

today I got my 1st + ovulation test, so beginning our January TWW.

what is everyone else’s story 🌟

@SCK2024 hopefully it means something positive. I’m on CD4 now and my period is so heavy! Won’t be too long until fertile window! 🙏😆

screenshot are my OPK tests, the peak is a dried out test which has shown my highest but I wouldn’t suggest it actually is just because it’s dried out darkest.. but the one below it is equally as dark.

so if that is my peak (17th) would my ovulation day be estimated 19th (24-36hrs)

would that make me DPO 9/10?

Hiya @SCK2024when I get my peak I usually take ovulation to be 2 days later as this would be the latest time it would have happened so you are like 10DPO at the latest. Luckily for me I feel ovulation and from having my peak the longest time it took me to ovulate was no more than 24 hours and the quickest time it happened with a peak was 8 hours! So fingers crossed! X

Thankyou for your advice, I had been getting bfn 2/3days ago but AF due Monday but will have to wait and see not going to test now unless AF doesn’t arrive xx

😂😂😂 don’t blame you! I bought 50 internet pink dye cheapies and have 2 clearblues and 2 Frers! Think that will last me a little bit! 😂😂 I managed to not use any expensive ones the last two cycles! Hoping they get used this cycle for the right reasons!! 😂x

I have my new batch of opk for next cycle already but hoping this is my cycle, especially as I went further lengths this time and used the fertility cups and BD 2days pre and post and on ovulation day ✨🫶🏼

I was having my hair done then driving to the shops I felt crampy thought it was AF but they have disappeared now.

still no AF this next cycle I’m not hoping to fall pregnant I don’t want another NYE baby and Xmas all in one 😅

Just have to see if AF shows then I’ll do another test 🥰

You definitely would be buzzing 😂 I’ve had two weeks of slipping off the slope with food and alcohol with various celebrations and a holiday and I’m back on it this week now!

No AF today 🤷🏻‍♀️ I thought I had mild cramps earlier this morning but they disappeared, I’m just going with I’m out as had bfn again this morning.
I assume ugly AF will show her head this week at some point, never late usually but we will see 🙃

I know, it’s started to get me down now 😓

I'm 38 this month, my mum had me at 40 and she’s nearly 79 I feel as though I don’t have many healthy years with her left which really plays on my mind I feel I’d be doing the same.

I just wish it would just happen, I use the concieve lube, fertility cup all my bloods were fine, he’s doing a sample too.
we have conceived before but we made a now regrettable decision to not go ahead at the time and now struggling 😓
