Just checking in on here to get updates as I reckon I’m also out for December but should know come the weekend.

ManifestingBaby2023 · 10/12/2024 14:26

Hey!

I'd love to join if that's okay, although I think I'm technically still in December, Flo is saying to check on the 31st!

We are currently on our journey TTC #2. We were incredibly lucky last time and got pregnant after implant removal, unfortunately MC at 6 weeks and then fell pregnant with our rainbow baby.

Had a period before the implant removal and then a short period three days after. So currently checking to see when/if I ovulate with opks, hoping it's around this weekend! 🤞🏻

Baby dust to all ✨

Kateb149 · 10/12/2024 15:20

Thanks for setting up the new page @MyGardenDaisies ☺️ we can keep each other company over the next month!

I’m already quite excited to TTC this cycle as my period this month has been a lot more ‘normal’ for me - probably my first normal one since having my coil out in May. Can you tell i’m trying to find the positives of AF arriving 😂 i’ll be testing again in Jan but not going to wish this month away as we’ve got Christmas to look forward to! X

MyGardenDaisies · 10/12/2024 15:30

Welcome ladies! X

@Kateb149 politely, I hope this is the last TTC thread we meet 😆

haha I see what you mean, I also got my period and was like “well at least I have a regular period”.

I am enjoying the peaceful period of not testing, not trying, not symptom checking.

Trying to reduce stress as I pinpointed that my periods got shorter and LP too when I started having some stressful situations in life this year.

CD4 today already!

Can I join please Smile

Am currently trying for baby number 2, in my 3rd cycle, AF due at the weekend and I'm starting to get cramps so assume she will def be making an appearance.

I thought I would be more chilled this time around with trying but every time I come on my period I am so upset.

Xx

S4mmyj90 · 10/12/2024 15:40

Joining as think I'm out for December. My ovulation is this week but my husband and I are both ill so doubt we'll be better in time

Alex2022 · 10/12/2024 15:54

I too am currently ovulating this week so would love to join the Jan thread! ✨✨✨

blackberryhill · 10/12/2024 16:19

Checking in over here as think I'm also in the crew who'd be looking at a January BFP at the earliest now!

CD2 here and need to decide whether to start letrozole tonight or to sit out this cycle so that when I have my scan done for my HyCoSy I can see what my 'natural' baseline looks like...

Haha I hope so too, for both of our sanities 😂

We’ve got to look at the positives! I do like this stage of my cycle too, it’s completely pressure free which is bliss 😅

I hope you manage to have a stress free Christmas 🤞 and fingers crossed it gives you the break you need. I’m CD3 today and will start testing LH in a week’s time probably x

Floralcat · 10/12/2024 20:52

Hi everyone 😊 i am also going to be ovulating some time end of next week I hope and then tww christmas/ nye period! Im going to try using opks this month for first time and also wondering if to try low dose aspirin after ovulation as I’ve had 3 x back to back chemical pregnancies so feel like I’m ovulating okay but just not sticking! good luck to everyone ✨✨

@CoolBananas21 still hoping for you might be implantation cramps instead 🤞 i am also trying for no 2 and did not think id be so anxious about ttc , only got coil out in summer but I just naively assumed Id have been pregnant by christmas with no issues!

CoolBananas21 · 10/12/2024 20:57

@Floralcat me too - I thought by Xmas easily I'll be pregnant as was so quick my first.

I can't remember either what I felt or had in the run up to testing positive with my first. So I cant t think what is normal for me or not!

Sending you baby dust for as soon as possible xx

Bluey18 · 10/12/2024 21:05

May I join please? Cycle 4 TTC baby number 3. I said I was done after baby 2 but DH and I kept coming back to "just one more" 😂. I'm CD 11 today but I have long cycles and ovulate late so will be testing early Jan. Much love and baby dust to all xx

MrsH26 · 10/12/2024 22:17

Can I join too please?

I’ve literally no idea where to start 🤣
I’m 41 with an 18yr old DD, my DH doesn’t have children, I’ve had the Mirena removed today in the hope we might manage to get pregnant. We know it’ll be a tough one though

fell very easily with DD without even trying and I’ve been on hormonal contraception for about 16yrs, so I’ve no idea re cycle.

I had some spotting as I did most months with the mirena end of last month, been told to expect a period now, but where would that put me in my cycle? Advice would be appreciated!

good luck to everyone 🤞🏻

ManifestingBaby2023 · 11/12/2024 09:10

@MrsH26 The first day of your period is the first day of your cycle ☺️ sorry if this wasn't what you were asking!

I'm not too sure about the coil, as ive had the implant but i think they might be similar (?) your fertility is supposed to return almost immediately, as in your ability to get pregnant. However, a lot have said periods can take awhile to regulate. I got pregnant the first time with no period and then this time I had a period soon after removal 🤷🏻‍♀️

Might be worth getting some ovulation predictors to work out where you are. You can get some really good and cheap ones off Amazon.

Hope thats helpful! ☺️

BGxxx · 11/12/2024 09:31

CD21 on no signs of ovulation so I think I’ll be going in to jan! I have no hope for hitting pregnant even if I do ovulate🤦🏻‍♀️

Hey 👋 I had my coil out in May this year, but had already started having very light spotting at the time i’d have a normal period from around Nov last year.

Once it was removed I had a tiny bit of spotting which I guess was withdrawal bleeding and then had my next period bang on time to when my last one was before my coil was removed - so you might get your first period post mirena removal at the end of this month?

Good luck to you and lots of baby dust 🤞 some women fall pregnant as soon as mirena is removed but i’m on cycle 6 now, and finding it has taken a while for my periods to build back up to a normal level! I’ve been taking supplements since June and try to be healthy etc but know it just might take some time x

I’ve read about the aspirin too and have heard lots of positive stories after CP so it is worth a shot if you think it’s right for you ☺️ I think taking aspirin long term has side effects though so always best to have a read into it!

Good luck to you this cycle 🤞

Kateb149 · 11/12/2024 09:49

Is anyone doing the old wive’s tale of wrapping up a baby blanket and putting it under the Christmas tree? I’ve ordered a baby blanket to try it, and trying to think positively that we’ll be pregnant/have a baby by next Christmas 🎄

Thank you , you too 🤞 Hmm yeah i am still on fence if better to actually speak to GP about it i’m just so impatient to try and change something 🤣

Yeah exactly the same here with first we were not really trying trying or tracking i just noticed my period was 8 days late and tested 🤷🏻‍♀️ wish was that easy now! Xx

I know some gynaes recommend it after 3 MC usually, but it’s so slow to get anywhere with GPs or consultants these days isn’t it!

I don’t think taking them for one cycle will hurt if you wanted to try it and see how you feel x

CoolSummer89 · 11/12/2024 11:13

Hello, CD1 here reporting for duty. I must have ovulated a day later than I thought last month as was expecting my period yesterday. Ovulation should be 23/24 this month, which is OK because we don't have relatives coming round until evening of 24th.
Husband has strict instructions to look after me during TWW, because I do think (unintentionally) he has been a bit neglectful. He can't moan that I get too obsessive when he leaves me to my own devices! I know men feel helpless during TTC but actually I think there are things they could and should do.

I've never heard of this! I think it would make me very sad. I'm 36 next month and now just starting to worry that this will never happen. Perhaps I will put a cat blanket under the tree instead!

Sugarcube84 · 11/12/2024 11:17

Joining you all, cd1 for me just in time for going on holiday tomorrow. Cycle number 6 for me.

Very sad day today as my dog is getting put to sleep 😢
