Thought it was time for a new thread - we're almost out of room on the original one

ps gilly thanks for your offer of the Clomid too but I don't want to take yours if it's of any use to you at all (however if you don't need it I'll happily give it a good home)

Well done on getting your HSG done today... hope it was ok. Sorry you did not get any answers but good news they did not find anything wrong
I will check my FB

Went for my monitoring today and was at the hospital 3.5hrs!!! little monkey was playing up and would not keep still for the monitor. Was jumping all over the place.

3.5 hrs I was in and out within an hour! I'm fine - it didn't hurt anymore than a smear and was over quickly. feeling OK now, had a few period-like cramps during the day but they seem to have eased off now. Just another hoop to jump through on the ttc road I guess.

Rah, how exciting for you! A little girl, such lovely clothes to buy. Put Aidan in pink once (after he made a bit of a mess of himself honest) although he still looked like a boy just in pink

Good luck no more, fingers crossed for you. Also have fingers crossed for you, Gilly.

Thanks Mowmi, hope you are keeping chin up

Ladies I'm officially back. Scan today confirmed all my worst fears...another empty sac measuring 5+5 (I'm pretty sure I'm 6 so I should have seen something!)

Beyond gutted!

Hope you're all well

Thanks Gilly, they've told me to come back in 10 days. The sonographer was really lovely and had a really good rummage around - there was absolutely nothing in it! I asked her how often did this situation turn good and she said it was rare... talked about getting pain relief in etc...
Have no hope for this one but none for subsequent pregnancies is either! It's like massive de ja vu. I'm so worried that between us we can't make a baby! We concieve but it doesn't grow, we can make a sac but nothing to grow in it!
I'm about to call zita west to try to get to see their ultra expensive but excellent miscarriage specialist.

How are you?

Mowmi, so sorry to hear it MAY not be good news. We had a first scan at 5 wks and was told not to expect to see anything, are you having another scan and what is happening with your hcg levels? It is very, very early days and may not be what it seems. Fingers crossed for you x

Gilly, as always thinking of you and hope your turn comes soon. Life can be a bitch at times sadly.

No More, how are you doing?

On a positive note, isn't the weather fab I hope you are all resting well!

Hi KD & Gilly,

My hcg isn't being measured - it's so frustrating my boobs are so sore today - had to put my bra back on to support them - how cruel is that!?
My next scan is Monday week, I saw the report yesterday and it said the sac is 15mm - I've since read on a medical site that the yolk sac is always visible at 10mm so think that's it.
Good news is I've managed to get in to see the specialist in a couple of weeks so hopefully he'll be able to help?

Gilly sorry all this taking it's toll on you and DP - it's so hard isn't it? Have to say this weekend has been a bit grim for me and the other half and some pretty bad things have been said...

KD how's the little one?

x

Gilly, how frustrating am sitting here so upset and disappointed for you. I'm so sorry for you and will print a picture of St Gerard with your name on the top of the list (promise)

Mowmi, flippin' fabulous news. 5.5wks is very early to see a hb, hence the wait. Dead chuffed for you. Keep well and look after yourselves

Aidan, has a cold again but otherwise is one happy chap!

Hi all

Gilly - sorry to hear about your appointment that is so bad!! It annoys me so much that it hard enough already and to be honest the clinics do not help! Hows the house moving going? Sorry I have not been on line much, did not mean to make u worry!

nomoremagnolia - Did u get my stuff through the post? Hope u are ok and your holiday went well.. tell us all about it!

Mowmi - FAb news.... so pleased u saw ur babies HB

kd73 - Glad to hear Aiden is doing well... at his cold!

BellaBear - Hello

LondonLottie - TWINS!!! OMG - Many congratulations

Well Ive been a bit stressed out and ended up in hospital on Sun/Mon as had a bad dose of D&V and it made the babies hb go really funny. When we got to the hospital the trace was really poor and they spent ages trying to work out what was going on. Then they got a scanner out and found baby had developed an irregular HB, so they stuck me on a drip and gave me an injection to try and sort it out. It improved greatly by Monday and they have had me back in every day this week to be monitored and I think every day it has improved. Talk about stressful! Anyway Im all booked in for an induction on Monday! So hopefully will have some good news for u all by next week. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Take care everyone and speak soon, Love Sarah Xxxxx
