Sorry gilly for not posting (bad rah)
Scan went ok, baby is 1lb 6 and fluid levels are good, blood flow good and cervix is still ok but has shortened a bit. But consultant still decided to give me steriods and anti b to mature the babies lungs. So had first course fri and then went back in on sat morning. So was at the hospital most of fri and sat had some really horrid side effects and really hindered my sleep so had a bad weekend. Still suffering from the vertigo so going to see the doctors again this afternoon grrrrrrr but on a positive note I'm 25 weeks now and everything is new now!

Gilly sorry your getting headaches. I hate drinking too! I put juice in mine because I'm such a kid! When is your exibition over at work? Is it going ok? When is your first scan? Can't wait to find out about your eggies just in time for Easter!!!

Good news from me.. my sleep has returned to normal and I'm getting some nice sleep! YIPPPPEEEE (apart from the frequent toilet trips)

Good luck Gilly, everything crossed for you. I reckon your bladder would get used to more water, it usually takes a couple of days then they expect that much so use it better.

Well done on sleeping better Rah, you ought to see my bed, I am surrounded by pillows, 2 for the head, one for bump, one for back and 2 for knees. I leave dh with very little room

Apple&Black, nope, we didn't find out at the scan, we didn't want to know. When is your scan? Must be really soon. How do you feel? I don't know much about Micras so not sure, but when we looked at the Bug folded it is surprisingly compact. I've only got a Fiesta.

Ready - I'm fine thanks. My scan is tomorrow! The Micra is a bit smaller than a Fiesta - more like a Ka except without the sloping sides. How are you? Have you started buying baby stuff yet?

Ah, right, I didn't realise there was much smaller than the fiesta We haven't really bought much for the baby yet... although we ordered our Bugaboo and have a few babygros but other than that, nothing. I really ought to get a move on.

Thanks Ready. The scan was fine - everything in the right place etc, though DH nearly missed it because it took half an hour to park the car! Fortunately they were running late and we were early so he did make it in time. Oh and we're having a girl!

Thanks Gilly - glad yours did too! Not sure I really understand what happens in IVF but I hope the next bit goes well anyway. Is it egg-growing now?

A&B - a Girl!!! Many congratulations! You really thought you were having a boy aswell! Were you shocked? I was shocked when we were first told it was a girl as there are no girls in Pete's family on the male side. Its all boys!

Thanks Gilly for the tip on weeing! ... I will try straight away! I have been having a real pressure on my bladder (baby) as carrying low and it really hurts to empty my bladder. I think in addition I have a really rubbish pain threshold!

Also I got a new car at the weekend. A Suzuki Swift. Navy blue, 5 doors, practical, 9400 on the clock and still in warranty for another 1 1/2... YAY..

I was so tempted to buy one of those fiat 500 they are completely fab! I WANT I WANT I WANT!!!

But I had set out my criteria before buying.

5 doors (only 3 door in fiat 500)
boot space (little boot space in fiat 500)
Able to fit friends (Fiat 500 very small)
Practical (fiat 500 has fab interior - perfect to ruined with all the baby stuff flying everywhere)

I WANT I WANT I WANT still!!! oh so cute!

Maybe I can talk DH into buying me one of those too and I can just have it for me!

Gilly good luck at your scan tomorrow and fab news that your not getting too many side effects. I'm rubbish at drinking too! (unless it has alcohol in it )

Weeing is OK, but when I need to go I need to go! Its a blinking nightmare! I keep coughing and enough said .... Must do lots more pelvic floor exercises!

Had scan and consultants appointment on Friday and it went really well. Good blood flow to placenta and cord, baby growing and moving around, fluids all good and even my bloods came back really well. She has moved to breech but should move again, little tinker!

KD - Which parc are you planning to go to? Never been but my best friend goes with her little one and they love it. You need to take food with you as otherwise it can be really expensive to buy there. They invited us on one of their trips in July. Would love to go but the baby will only be 4-5 weeks old at the most possibly less... everyone elses kids are aged between 2 1/2 and 6!
Oh well I will have to make sure we get an invite next year! What type of accommodation did you book? Don't some have jacuzzi/hot tubs on balconies etc....

Rah - I love the Fiat 500 too, but I think 5 doors is fairly essential unfortunately.
