Ps I found it starts eith the egg unachievable (for me). But I do take ubiquinol which it recommends and I'm taking melatonin which it recommends for ivf but my sleep at the moment is awful.
I've discounted a lot of the other stuff, rightly or wrongly but I'm at the point where I just want to live and feel relaxed and I found it a bit stressful.

@VenusStarr oooh ibuprofen thats a new one you are so close now and your lining is there woohoo. oh i got myself in a right state. I have an alarm and tick list and don’t tick till I’ve swallowed it but this bloomin phone call I just have no memory of what I did I’m 98% certain I didn’t but CRP said it would be much worse to have too much rather than not enough hydroxy so if any doubt not to take it. She also said it builds up in your system and stays in there ages so one dose won’t make a difference, they were very confident she said women forget their meds all the time. I am still really annoyed with myself but it makes me feel so much better other people make mistakes as well. X
@Jecca88 I’ve read it it’s very interesting. It gives good evidence the latest edition covers immune issues as well. I took all the supplements from the book for 2 years and it was only when I did ivf and shehata I got anywhere but it all depends on what your issues are xxx it’s a minefield

Gizmo1983 · 25/10/2024 19:59

@VenusStarr i was the same i had this pile of pills then used to pick my favourites out and leave the rest so i stopped them it was getting too stressful. I took them all religiously for a year before i just couldn’t choke them down anymore x

Gizmo1983 · 26/10/2024 20:02

@VenusStarr just want to wish you every luck tomorrow hope it all goes well 🤞❤️

VenusStarr · 26/10/2024 21:56

Ah, thank you 🥰 @Gizmo1983 feeling very swollen tonight. Totally paranoid that I'll sleep through my alarm 🫠 and the clocks change tonight so I'll be googling 'what time is it?!' 😅 x

Gizmo1983 · 26/10/2024 22:40

@VenusStarr oooh yes you need to get it right with the clocks. Not to add any more stress 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️. Set 3 alarms 😂😂😂❤️

VenusStarr · 27/10/2024 10:38

All done 🙂 7 eggs collected 🙏 🙌 was rudely awoken from my lovely sedation dream! Haha. X

@VenusStarr wow that’s fantastic news woopwoop. I love being knocked out 😂😂😂did u have ur McDonald’s chips 😂😂😂

VenusStarr · 27/10/2024 18:03

Thank you! 🙌🥰 hoping we get some fertilise (we've only ever had 3 per round, so hoping for the same).
I didn't, I fancied some plain crisps! So had those. Not long got up from a long nap.

I did my lubion this afternoon and forgot it's sore after - get lumps under my skin on it. I've not long done my first gcsf injection, got those every 3 days now. And I'm on clexane later this evening.

I've had no bleeding at all, first time for that.

How are you doing @Gizmo1983 💕

Love to all xxx

Oh @VenusStarr - wonderful news, lucky number seven as they say ❤️

Are you hoping to do a fresh transfer?

I went to Tesco and got some Vitamin E, and found that vitamin C serum - something saints I think- is that the one? Been getting my steps in also.

Jecca88 · 27/10/2024 18:20

@Gizmo1983 thanks for the insight on the book, I prob won’t get it as it sounds more stressful that it’s worth. can I ask why you went for IVF?

All I have ever been told is iVF is not the solution for me as I can’t get pregnant. But I am really thinking of considering it.

Meg310532 · 27/10/2024 21:13

Hi lovely ladies, I hope you don’t mind me jumping on this thread, I suppose you all understand the lonely feeling of the fertility world. I just felt a warming feeling seeing all your messages between eachother and the love and care people have who are going through the same thing. I went to CRP clinic three weeks ago and spent £3,300 on tests, everything came back normal apart from the Cytoxicity NK cells (activation of Nk Cells in pregnancy state) normal is below 20 percent and mine are at 26 percent. I suppose I’m just concerned is this really the reason for my 3 loses ?! I hope it is and that the treatment plan can be successful ! He’s put me on superovulation, infusion before ovulation then prednisone and infusion then test. Also taking viagra to help with the lining. I’m having this month off as partner is away so starting next month. I’m so worried about the steroids. Also I’m hoping he will be able to help with my lining. Does anyone know what he will do if my lining is thin on scan day? My last clinic I was at did nothing. No wonder it wasn’t successful. CRP seem great so far just expensive !!! Any comments and replies are so so welcomed xxx

Gizmo1983 · 27/10/2024 21:28

@VenusStarr got everything crossed will they give you a call in the morning? I get nasty lumps after lubion as well it’s brutal apparently if u warm it up in your bra 1st it helps but I always forget. Fingers crossed for fertilisation ❤️ 7 is awesome ❤️
hi @Meg310532 my results from CRP were the same pretty much, I’ve been fine with the steroids except dry skin which is fine. Yes the cost hits u in the stomach doesn’t it. I couldn’t do super ovulation as I live too far away. Welcome to the group xxx
@Jecca88 honestly I’d get the book and have a read even if you don’t take the supplements it is a very interesting read. I went for ivf as after my last MC I stopped being able to get pregnant I always fell in a few months usually the first month of trying but then after the last loss I had nothing except a super early chemical in a year and 4 months x

Meg310532 · 27/10/2024 21:32

@Gizmo1983 that’s great to know about the steroids, I have heard people not being able to sleep which has worried me. How many cycles have you taken the steroids now ? Are you also having the infusions pre ovulation and post ?

Jecca88 · 27/10/2024 21:47

Hey @Meg310532 welcome! Ahh god it’s such a hit the first one, but should be the worst one! My results were also the same, some about not being immune from rubella and high NK and Gilbert’s syndrome. Also turns out I have Poly cystic ovaries too - which was found out a year after I was at CRP. I was nervous about steroids, but had them for two months now and honestly I was the same and thought my sleep would have been affected, but it was only on the first night of taking - maybe more placebo. Take them at breakfast and you should be good. I also have pre ovulation intralipids and then at 4 weeks if you get a positive test 🤞🏼

@Gizmo1983 im taking all the supplements recommended by CRP so think will just stick to that. Ahh I can see why you went for IVF, it’s been three months of trying and I’m so impatient. Did you do the PGTA testint? am wondering if I would be able to get IVF on NhS as I don’t have any living children.

Gizmo1983 · 27/10/2024 21:49

@Meg310532 ive been on them daily for about 7 weeks now. I struggled to sleep the first few days then I was fine. I did take them for the cycles then went ivf. I believe u have to do the intralipds otherwise mr shehata will not treat you he doesn’t give you an option 😢

Meg310532 · 27/10/2024 21:56

Hey @Jecca88 thanks for letting me know that deffo gives me some reassurance as having insomnia is the worse !!! Do you mind me asking why you ended up going to CRP? How strange that’s exactly what he said to me about the rubella too, but I have had my rubella jabs when I was a kid but said there was no issues. Are you in the process of trying to fall pregnant now? Have you thought about superovulation?

@Gizmo1983 ahh it’s so frustrating that you have to do the infusions as they seem to be the thing that rack up the money as it’s basically £380 every time pre ovulation, and it showed it didn’t even bring my NK cells down to normal they were still high with them it was only the prednisone that bought the activation below 20 percent xxx

Gizmo1983 · 27/10/2024 22:05

@Meg310532 if I could have opted out of intralipids I 100% would have it takes me 6/7 hours to get to CRP have treatment then the same home.
@Jecca88 yes I did pgta out of 4 eggs that fertilised we got one that was transferable x

Gizmo1983 · 27/10/2024 22:07

@Jecca88 if your partner doesn’t have children you’re below 42 ( I think ) and amh is ok I think you will xxx

Meg310532 · 27/10/2024 22:07

@Jecca88 so sorry to double message, but I just went through your messages and can see you have had two miscarriages on Dr S protocol I’m so bloody sorry to hear this. I hope he reassured you that he would look further into the reasoning? It does make you wonder about the NK cell theory and I just worry so much about going down this road. Was there anything different he advised on doing after your miscarriage under his care ? Xxx

Meg310532 · 27/10/2024 22:09

@Gizmo1983 wowza that is such a treck for you that’s crazy isn’t it. He needs to open up more clinics around the country !!! X

lozzmax · 27/10/2024 22:15

Welcome @Meg310532. If you don't do ovulation intralipids, there's nothing they can actually do! I didn't do them for my last cycle (by accident) and I'm currently 20 weeks pregnant - they just treat you when you get a positive test. But you will need to have them when you go for scans. Steroids were fine for me! Didn't feel my sleep was too affected - they helped slightly lessen the extreme tiredness and sickness of the first trimester (which unfortunately hit me like a ton of bricks as soon as I came off them and still going).

@Jecca88 we had the same debate about IVF - shehata was absolutely against it. My view was that I wanted to prevent any chromosonally abnormal pregnancies because I'd had a couple of chemicals mixed in with my later miscarriages. Felt like crossing something off the list. As it happens this one stuck, but I was six losses in (four after my daughter) and this was going to be our last go at natural conception.

@VenusStarr great news on the eggs ❤️ What are next steps? Did you say you're transferring a frozen, or did I make that up?

Gizmo1983 · 27/10/2024 22:19

@lozzmax thats good thinking on the intralipids ☺️

Meg310532 · 27/10/2024 22:20

@lozzmax thanks for the advice hun! And congratulations on the pregnancy! Was that your first pregnancy under Dr Shehata care ?? … my problem is I’m doing superovulation so they make me have the infusion on day 10-12 when I come in for my follicle scan! Unless I can make up an excuse why I can’t that day hmmm! lol ! X. Xx

VenusStarr · 28/10/2024 06:57

Thank you @Jecca88 fresh transfer is the plan. They did say they're booking me a time for Wednesday and they'll thaw my day 3 frostie that morning and call me with an update. I was hoping to avoid a day 3 call as theyre the worst. But they seemed hopeful that I might get some options and they may suggest a day 5 transfer. So I'm abit doubtful of my decision as I really want to transfer and my history recently is no blastocysts so it feels risky. But it all might be a moot point and we might just have the fair day 3 in the running anyway. Been awake since 4am 👀
Funny you should say lucky number 7, if this works, it'll be my 7th pregnancy 🙏
Am I an influencer?! Haha. Did you use the serum? Hope you liked it and have glass skin soon 💕 hope you're doing ok this cycle xx

Welcome @Meg310532 overactive nk cells is my issue. I had lining difficulties and they put me on extra estrogen during the letrozole phase but Dr Edge did tell me that for natural conception they aren't too concerned if lining is around 6.5mm. I think its ivf where they get more concerned. It's overwhelming when you get your results ❤️

Thank you @lozzmax hope you're feeling OK at halfway 🥰

@Gizmo1983 should get a phone all this morning. My clinic tend to do day 1 calls about 8.30. I do feel a but anxious at the moment but think it's all the meds I'm on and progesterone and poor sleep. Im going to do my lubion in the morning and then pessaries at lunch and bedtime. I realised that I've only got enough gcsf til just before test day, which falls on a Sunday (I think) and I don't know what to do. It's really expensive and I'm reluctant to test early or buy 5 more vials and it be negative and I've wasted £400. But I'll need to take it on the Monday if I am pregnant 🤔

I'm due in work today but they told me yesterday no driving for 48hrs so I'll have to get 2 buses and think its raining all day today 🫠 xx
