Sorry I've not posted in ages. Quite a lot to catch up on...

@VenusStarr I'm so pleased to hear it was a cyst. And it sounds like you're back on track to try again so I have everything crossed for you. How are you feeling about it all now?

@Rainbowsunshine81 🤞🤞🤞 are you testing today?

@v60 gentle congrats. The first bit is torture I found so be kind to yourself and know you are doing everything you can. Will you be monitoring hcg levels regularly?

@Gizmo1983 I really hope all goes well with your transfer tomorrow!

@fleur89 a huge congratulations. This is such lovely news and so encouraging for everyone here. I hope you're getting on okay and can enjoy having your lo in your arms at last.

An update from me - I'm now 14+3 weeks and all still seems to look okay. I'm still on all the meds as I'm also under a specialist consultant for CHI so I'll be having scans from 17 weeks with him to wean off the pred. I've booked a gender scan for two weeks time. Just can't really get my head around that this pregnancy hasn't ended in another first tri loss so it's taking me quite some time to process. I'm living from one scan to the next. And I'm still hiding the pregnancy from most people. I've also bought a Doppler which has been helping with my anxiety.

I just wanted to mention that I genuinely don't think I'd have got pregnant again if I'd not done the AIP diet prior. I was on it for 3 months and we were just about to start ivf when I got pregnant naturally. All my inflammation calmed right down on the AIP and I felt so different. Lost weight easily, was going to the toilet everyday, had more energy, pain and bloating went, sex wasn't painful anymore and my cycles regulated pretty quickly and I started ovulating properly again. I just thought I'd mention if anyone else also has any endo or inflammation they are managing, as I believe it is all linked to the immune response in the body.

X

@Rainbowsunshine81 tjinking of you today ❤️
@v60 thank you so much that’s a great idea it’s so overwhelming all these meds I won’t mind if it actually works but feel like I’ve been taking them forever xxx
@VenusStarr hey sweet that all great news esp your lining I remember you had issues with the lining before the one good thing with ivf is once you get going it seems to move pretty quick although it seems like I’ve been prepping to do this FET for forever but when I worked it out it’s only 17 days it feels like a lifetime xxx
as for me transfer is 2.30 tomorrow terrified and excited just want it over and done with now xxx

Gizmo1983 · 12/09/2024 09:33

@HopefulH thanks so much ☺️. That’s very interesting about the AIP diet. I started it myself about ) months ago but only lasted a few days as I found it tough but I probably wasn’t in the right headspace. Have you stuck to it while pregnant or have you relaxed it a bit. Got fingers crossed everything keeps going well xxx

v60 · 12/09/2024 09:36

Thanks @HopefulH. Lovely to hear what stage you’re at - I imagine there’s a degree of disbelief as you tick off milestones! I’ve taken the day off to rest up and get over this cold, so definitely trying my best to look after myself. I’m overseas and doctors are generally fairly pro-testing anything at any given opportunity, so I could keep an eye on my hcg but I’m not sure how much it feeds the anxiety. What do you guys think - is it beneficial to ask for another test on Monday when I get my intralipids?

Rainbowsunshine81 · 12/09/2024 12:12

Hi girls,
Being cautious and what a morning, I had a positive digital test and a positive on clear blue. ❤️ ❤️

Argh I’ve been as cool as a cucumber this whole prep cycle but now it’s transplant day tomorrow o just can’t settle and feel stressed trying to calm down 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Rainbowsunshine81 · 12/09/2024 21:27

@Gizmo1983 wishing you lots of luck tomorrow ❤️

VenusStarr · 13/09/2024 09:29

Gentle congratulations @Rainbowsunshine81 how are you feeling? Take one day at a time, today you are pregnant 🥰❤️

@HopefulH lovely to hear from you. I am so pleased to hear that things are progressing well. I think I'd struggle with AIP, my duet isn't terrible but I struggle to plan too far ahead. My exercise is pretty good. I have been walking everyday and my aim is a minimum of 8000 steps a day and I'm on day 145 😊I think that may have helped my lining. Its a gamechanger for my mental health too.

@v60 I don't think I'd cope with the anxiety of waiting for results for another blood test. So I think I'd just carry on without testing hcg again. With my last pregnancy I didn't do a home test, just had one blood test to confirm. But I know that's probably not typical.

@Gizmo1983 thinking of you today. I hope you have a gentle, chilled morning. Don't drink too much or you'll be uncomfortable. I found that slowly drinking 2 pints of water in the morning and then going to the toilet before I leave for the clinic and then drinking water on the way is enough. Is your partner able to go in? Go for something nice to eat after too ❤️

Got my Dr review today, so hoping he'll be ok with us picking things up and I can get the meds ordered. My period is due in a week, but think I'll estrogen prime again, so hoping my October cycle is the cycle.

Have a good day all 💕

Hi everyone, haven't posted for a while. Just got back from holiday - wish I could say it was relaxing but a 2yo who didn't sleep and pregnancy symptoms still kicking my arse! I'm now 14w - like @HopefulH I can't quite believe it's real. I had my NHS dating scan yesterday and felt like quite a monumental moment to get the little set of photos. We've found out from harmony test that it's another girl - I am delighted ❤️

@Gizmo1983 good luck today, hope it goes well.

@HopefulH sounds like things going well for you - our dates are very similar! CRP actually dated me a bit earlier than NHS so think we're only a few days apart. Are you feeling better yet?

@VenusStarr great news about the lining, praying and hoping October is your month.

@v60 gentle congrats. I was too anxious to test or even get HCG bloods - I just did three days in a row to check getting darker and then I left it as I couldn't handle the anxiety of it all.

@Jecca88 taking in the morning worked for me. I haven't found pred bad at all.

@Rainbowsunshine81 congratulations on your pregnancy. Take each day as it comes

@fleur89 massive congratulations ❤️❤️

Rainbowsunshine81 · 13/09/2024 11:27

@VenusStarr Thank you ❤️ definitely going to take one day at a time. Don't know if it's the medication, but seem to have started going the bathroom more frequently, feeling a bit gaggy when brushing my teeth, hungry more than usual. I hope you're OK. Xx

Rainbowsunshine81 · 13/09/2024 11:33

@Lozzmax hope you had a nice holiday. Definitely going to do one day at a time for sure. Keep looking at the tests to check it's real, been a long journey to get to this point and I hope that everything will be ok. I have a scan at the end of the month with my clinic and I really hope that will be ok too and the rest, I want this so much ❤️
That's such lovely news, a little girl 🥰 hope you are ok. Xx

Gizmo1983 · 14/09/2024 10:51

@lozzmax so glad all is going well. 14 weeks already that’s awesome
@Rainbowsunshine81 how u feeling xxx
@VenusStarr thank you soooooo much for that tip about the water I did that and it worked perfectly. I was soooooooooo worked up yesterday by the time I got in the room my heart was racing any my face was so red and gave myself a terrible headache. It was over in minutes came home and went to bed and slept off my headache. When I woke up felt much better and hopeful. Woke up this morning feel pretty flat but going to get up and just get on with life I guess and not forget the meds. Sorry I didn’t msg yesterday was just a right mess xxx

Gizmo1983 · 14/09/2024 10:57

Crikey @VenusStarr forgive me I don’t ask about your appointment I’m so sorry my head is in the shed. Oh wow so you should be doing it in October that’s fantastic. That’s awesome on the weight loss as well. I love being on the oestrogen it makes my skin glow and it looks like I’ve had a boob job 😂😂😂

Rainbowsunshine81 · 14/09/2024 13:28

@Gizmo1983 I hope yesterday went well ❤️ it's a big day when you have your transfer.
Just in Birmingham at the moment after having my intralipid-infusion, just taking it one day at a time. I hope you are OK ❤️ xxx

Gizmo1983 · 16/09/2024 21:16

Hey @Rainbowsunshine81 how are you doing xxx
@VenusStarr when do you start your oestrogen
afm day 3 after transfer really struggling today, certain it hasn’t worked no cramps or anything really boobs were sore before the transfer so can’t count that. Plus I’ve had a migraine every day since the transfer and I can hear my pulse. the migraines have got shorter every day but spent most my time in bed with ice packs on my head had to take some paracetamol as my head was splitting. Sorry for the woe is me I haven’t really struggled emotionally till now and now I’m just a mess xxx
