Sorry I've not posted in ages. Quite a lot to catch up on...
@VenusStarr I'm so pleased to hear it was a cyst. And it sounds like you're back on track to try again so I have everything crossed for you. How are you feeling about it all now?
@Rainbowsunshine81 🤞🤞🤞 are you testing today?
@v60 gentle congrats. The first bit is torture I found so be kind to yourself and know you are doing everything you can. Will you be monitoring hcg levels regularly?
@Gizmo1983 I really hope all goes well with your transfer tomorrow!
@fleur89 a huge congratulations. This is such lovely news and so encouraging for everyone here. I hope you're getting on okay and can enjoy having your lo in your arms at last.
An update from me - I'm now 14+3 weeks and all still seems to look okay. I'm still on all the meds as I'm also under a specialist consultant for CHI so I'll be having scans from 17 weeks with him to wean off the pred. I've booked a gender scan for two weeks time. Just can't really get my head around that this pregnancy hasn't ended in another first tri loss so it's taking me quite some time to process. I'm living from one scan to the next. And I'm still hiding the pregnancy from most people. I've also bought a Doppler which has been helping with my anxiety.
I just wanted to mention that I genuinely don't think I'd have got pregnant again if I'd not done the AIP diet prior. I was on it for 3 months and we were just about to start ivf when I got pregnant naturally. All my inflammation calmed right down on the AIP and I felt so different. Lost weight easily, was going to the toilet everyday, had more energy, pain and bloating went, sex wasn't painful anymore and my cycles regulated pretty quickly and I started ovulating properly again. I just thought I'd mention if anyone else also has any endo or inflammation they are managing, as I believe it is all linked to the immune response in the body.
