@HopefulH totally understand - I felt (and still feel to some extent) exactly the same. Keeping everything crossed for you!

lozzmax · 03/07/2024 10:37

@elarcoiris that sounds great, always good when you start feeling nauseous! Spotting is just horrid, it happens to me every single time and always sends me into a tailspin. With my daughter I had a proper bright red bleed about 7.5 weeks and thought it was over - they couldn't see where it had come from but everything turned out fine. What protocol are you on? Is this your first pregnancy under Dr. S?

@HopefulH I totally get you. I actually think the FR tests can be a little harder to see progression as the lines are a bit thinner, could you try a cheapie brand or a blue test? I actually think they're kind of easier to see progression, whereas FRER best at picking up the early positive. Sounds like implantation spotting to me 🤞🏼🤞🏼

HopefulH · 03/07/2024 11:17

@lozzmax these are my cheapies

@HopefulH ah yes definite progression there, and looks similar to @elarcoiris as well. If you look at the progression every two days (which is what I usually do), it's looking good. My sister currently 6 weeks - her levels started low but they doubled and doubled and now her lines are super dark. Sometimes you just have a lower level to start with - she had bloods done at 13DPO and her HCG was low at 10 but it was 600 a week later. I hope by tomorrow you get a big, fat, dark line ❤️

HopefulH · 03/07/2024 11:25

@lozzmax thank you ❤️ I'm not in a great head space and I know I just have to wait and see... its hard not to spiral!!

lozzmax · 03/07/2024 11:26

@HopefulH I totally get it. We're all with you ❤️❤️❤️

lozzmax · 03/07/2024 11:37

@HopefulH have you had your intralipids yet? I'm going in tomorrow x

Rainbowsunshine81 · 03/07/2024 17:50

Hi everyone, hope you're all OK.
Would any of you be able to help, I stopped all the medication and then had a withdrawal bleed at the beginning of June. Since then no period, but symptoms of a period due according to my flo app it's now day 31. Usually my cycle is 25 days.
I spoke to my clinic yesterday to say it's still a no show and apparently my consultant wouldn't be too concerned that it hasn't started yet. Was hoping to go for another transfer next month, but don't know if that will happen. Apparently there is a short protocol that I could possibly do. X

Gizmo1983 · 03/07/2024 22:00

@HopefulH @lozzmax @elarcoiris gentle and wonder congratulations to you all got my fingers and toes crossed for you all so sorry if I’ve missed anyone not been on for a while
@Rainbowsunshine81 how are you xxx
@VenusStarr bet you can’t wait for that holiday ooh your birthday is in August mine Is july another year older argh.
got my pgta results back one was no good the 5aa one has come back low mosaic so is transferable but we are thinking maybe we try another cycle. We are just going to try naturally this month u never know lol. We have a meeting with the clinic on Friday to make a plan what to do next but out of 4 fertilised eggs we only got a low mosaic so looks like we can see where our problem is. We have 3 cycles and then decide where to go from there. I’m pretty settled with donor eggs although hubby isn’t as content as me with the idea xxx
love to all so sorry if I’ve missed people it’s been a while since I was here been enjoying not thinking about ttc xxx

Rainbowsunshine81 · 03/07/2024 22:15

@Gizmo1983 not too bad thanks, have had a bad cold but apart from that ok. Still no sign of having a period, I did have a withdrawal bleed after stopping the medication but that was at the beginning of June. I spoke to my clinic and apparently my consultant wouldn't be too concerned that it hasn't come yet. Was possibly thinking of another fet in August, but not sure if that will be possible. How are you? Xx

VenusStarr · 04/07/2024 07:25

Gentle congratulations to @lozzmax and @HopefulH ❤❤️

@Gizmo1983 I'm so pleased you have a transferable blast 🙏 I know it's disappointing to not have more or a full eupoloid but it is good news 💕 I'm glad you're enjoying the break too

@Rainbowsunshine81 I'm sorry you're period is delayed, our bodies love to try us, don't they? Hope you get get moving forward soon.

Lots of love to all. I'm really distracted and had an awful night, I found a lump in my breast last night and have been catastrophising all night. I'm waiting for the GP lines to open. But it feels very heavy and unfair to have this now, just when I was starting to focus on me again. It's like the universe has said, no 😪

Rainbowsunshine81 · 04/07/2024 09:16

@VenusStarr our bodies do love to try us that's for sure! Thank you, so do I. I hope you manage to get through to your GP and get an appointment, hopefully it will be nothing but best to get it checked. Sending lots of love to you 💗

Gizmo1983 · 04/07/2024 10:38

@VenusStarr oh my sweet I am so hoping by now you’ve managed to get an appointment to get it checked out. There are so many things it could be but I know exactly where your mind will be going. please just pop
on to let us know how you get on at the drs, a friend of mine just had a lump removed and they are a kind of fatty cyst but she was in a right state. Life is just a bitch sometimes xxx

elarcoiris · 04/07/2024 11:32

Thinking of you @VenusStarr and hope you managed to get an appointment to get checked out. Sending lots of love!

VenusStarr · 04/07/2024 12:31

Thank you @Gizmo1983 @elarcoiris @Rainbowsunshine81 the Dr was lovely, she found it straight away and said its quite big 😪 I've been referred on the two week urge to pathway. Which I know is the right action but it's so scary. I'm sacking off work this afternoon. I walked to the doctor and have just come over to the fields on the way home to lie here for a bit. I've cried to my sister and my husband. I'm really trying not to jump to the worst but its hard xx

lozzmax · 04/07/2024 12:53

@VenusStarr I'm so sorry, that's so worrying for you. Glad they've fast tracked you, really really hoping it's just a cyst. You don't deserve this with everything you've been through. Sack off work for the next few days, the important thing is you right now, not your job. Sending love xx

Rainbowsunshine81 · 04/07/2024 15:22

@VenusStarr that's good that you have been seen. Don't blame you for sacking off work. Take some time out for yourself. Sending lots of love ❤️

Jecca88 · 04/07/2024 16:09

I have missed a lot on here.

Firstly I am so sorry @VenusStarr - glad you have found it and you're in the right hands! keeping things crossed for you! you poor thing - it really is the last thing you need right now, give this woman a break!

Gentle congrats to @lozzmax - wow sometimes it happens when you least expect it. Hope intralipids were ok today and doctor provided some assurance about starting drugs again. Keeping fingers crossed this one sticks.

Gentle congrats to @HopefulH i can really relate to the testing lots - but i can definately see the line getting stronger. Mine didn't change day to day - it was more a week apart. Have you got your first scan booked in?

@Gizmo1983 I am gald you have one good embryo! Did you want to try that one or go for another egg retrieval before?

@elarcoiris keeping you in mind for your scan this week :)

Sending Love to everyone 😍

lozzmax · 04/07/2024 16:13

Hi @Jecca88 how are you? Where are you at with your journey? Did you have a hysteroscopy?

I managed to get my GP to prescribe me the Prednisolone even though I'm on citalopram, and a hysteroscopy I had pushed for did show scarring which they removed. Have since had two pregnancies, one only lasting a couple of days and then this one.

Had a very odd result back earlier - my AMH has dropped from 9.8 last feb to 2.1 in May! Quite shocked tbh. My brother (doctor) said that because I had the test maybe 2 days after a chemical pregnancy, it could have been lower due to pregnancy. The nurse seemed a bit concerned about it as I got my results whilst I was having intralipids - she was going to get back to me after speaking to Dr. Edge.

@HopefulH any further progression today? x

Jecca88 · 04/07/2024 17:13

hey @lozzmax so I had my surgical management 4 weeks ago and have tested negative on pregnancy tests so no need to go back now, just waiitng for my period to return. But I am waiting on Genetic results from the hospital. DR S said it's worth seeing him for another consultation after the results so we have everything we need. This is when i will try and ask for Prednisolone as i just need to try something new for the next time.

I have asked for the GP to refer me for a Hysteroscopy, but also waiting on my work health insurance to come in so i can go private as it is covered due to it being corrective surgery.

That is so strange about the AMH, but does make sense as you had just had a miscarriage. Can they test again whilst you are pregnant? or would it give same result? Hopefully its nothing to worry about. I thought AMH was only a worry for egg reserve, but clearly you are getting pregnant easily.

lozzmax · 04/07/2024 17:18

Yes we saw Dr. S for a consultation when we had our loss and D&C results - frustratingly they didn't tell us much as everything was fine, no abnormality. But he did recommend upping the anti, so I'd definitely push for prednisolone and I would see if you can have a chat with your GP first as he'll ask for this before he prescribes them to you.

I have had a few hysteroscopy's using work private medical, it's a game changer. Just nice to have your own room in a nice hospital with nice food, and mainly to have follow up consultations with the consultant where you get proper time for them to go through things. Mr. Jan did two of mine, and I had one recently with another consultant in London as it was a bit easier than Epsom

Jecca88 · 04/07/2024 18:39

Thanks @lozzmax yes I did have a chat with my GP - but they are a bit useless! I think I need to get a doctors note or maybe I can get them prescribed by the actual GP if DR S recommends - fingers crossed.

yes that does sound better. How long did it take you to get referred privately? Is DR Jan at CRP?

how you feeling after intralipids? Did they book your first scan in?

HopefulH · 04/07/2024 19:55

I was told not that long ago that AMH is a measure of the hormone produced by the upcoming eggs that have started the 3 month transition from dormant to ready to ovulate potentially, so it would make sense that after falling pregnant this might lower for some time as your body would have stopped the recruiting process temporarily? That's how I understood it anyway. My AMH went up from 1pmol to 6pmol most recently - and I was told this could be due to COVID having a negative effect on ovarian function too 🤷🏼‍♀️ who really knows?!

HopefulH · 04/07/2024 19:57

@VenusStarr Sorry to hear you're in the midst of more crappiness. I really hope you're okay and that you get seen quickly and it's good news. I'll be thinking of you! Sending you love and strength!

HopefulH · 04/07/2024 20:04

@lozzmax Don't judge me - I have a testing problem. I'm all over the place to be honest as in my head it's another miscarriage regardless so I almost can't see clearly for the fear and hysteria that takes over every morning...
